I suggest for next year: Create a new topic.
For those who haven't followed the event in previous years, it can become very difficult to analyze the topic.
Anyway, keep up the excellent work! Thanks.
It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.
The contest is over! It's been amazing... we had a record 50 pizzas last year and this year we likely doubled it! I would like thin crust, extra cheese with lots of red onions and jelapeno pickles on top. Unfortunately, this is a problem. It was stated and repeated that the contest is taking place on Discord, like in previous years. However, this is not the first time it happened. If you look at the pinned messages in the #pizza-day-event-2022 channel you will see that I posted the entries for the people that did not post in Discord. I'd really appreciate it if someone has the time to help out with that this year! Understandably, some of us are not here to compete against pizza legends! But the effort is worth participating in the contest. I won't mind posting them on the Discord server since you asked. We have almost two more hours to go. Let's see if we see more submissions from members. I will update the pizza gallery and post it here once the time is up. Then I will start posting them on the Discord server. Since you asked, Can you help me clarify one thing? What if we got submissions after the mentioned period? Should I submit them on the Discord Server? Or I should be strict with the rules? Let's say you answered submit them as well, how long I should do it? People may submit all day! It would be awesome if you could post them on Discord! TBH, since everybody is here to have fun... IF there's someone late by an hour or two I'd be inclined to let them participate. The contest is over! It's been amazing... we had a record 50 pizzas last year and this year we likely doubled it! Bitcointalk, your awesome! Happy Bitcoin Pizza day 2023 Hopefully I'm still not too late in celebrating the Bitcoin Pizza Day Contest. This is my pizza entry, even though no one sells pizza where I live because I live in a village, I still try to make pizza with the help of YouTube. Unfortunately, this is a problem. So many more pizzas (and various other things ) than I expected! I have quite a few mouthwatering favorites in mind but I'm really curious who you will vote this year's winner!
Only 21 Hours left. We have over 90 submissions in this thread, while the Discord server has only 26 Submissions. I encourage everyone to upload their pizza on the Discord server's dedicated event channel #pizza-day-event-2023. I haven't seen a lot of entries on the discord server till now. They might have thought that the contest if forum based, whereas it is not. Voting will happen on discord and if any participant does not upload the picture on discord then their efforts would get wasted.Discord Server Invitation Link: https://discord.gg/ahgHyku Unfortunately, this is a problem. The main problem now its.....
HOW we are gonna do to vote between so much submissions?. ITs gonna be really really dificult for the judges I think we can make two or three batches and after that a final, what do you think?
I am late but joining the contest first time I hope everyone will appreciate. I made it in quick mode. I hope you people will like this.
Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day
Very Special Homemade Pizza for Bitcoin-Pizza Day Event
Thanks God, finally finished making this special pizza for a very special event - Bitcoin-Pizza-Day, especially since this is the last day to submit. Honestly, this is my first making Pizza. With high self-confidence, I finally decided to take part in this contest by making my own pizza, of course, with the help of a tutorial from YouTube Videos, with limited ingredients, only a frypan, not a microwave or oven or special pizza stove. And this is the first pizza I made, I already imagined it would be very beautiful and attractive like pizza in general, which has a sausage crust. Here's the step-by-step (btw, btw I'm so sorry, not all ingredients and steps are photographed).). and Initially, I was very confident that I could make pizza that looked attractive and tasted super delicious, like the pizza I've ordered several times. However, in fact, reality often doesn't match expectations haha Too difficult for me.... Look at how the shape of this pizza is, very far from what I imagined, not even just the shape, it doesn't even taste like pizza. I think I made the pizza dough too thick, and it burned the bottom. The shape of the pizza is even more attractive before baking... It felt really unexpected, beyond very high expectations. Instead of being irresponsible, I finally tried to make it again using the remaining little dough. With a slightly different shape and the dough made thinner. And finally, here is the second Pizza: I'm satisfied enough with this Pizza, although maybe not as good as other Bitcointalk members. however, I feel very happy to be able to create it and participate in it. Happy Bitcoin-Pizza-Day Thanks so much for this opportunity. ~Happy Pizza Day~ Gather the ingredients for the pizza: Pizza shape createing: Finally the pizza is ready to eat: Everyone in the forum is enjoying Pizza Day now. More or less everyone is joining the Pizza Day contest. Everyone in the forum is making pizza with great joy. This creates a new experience for everyone. I am very happy to join such a contest at this place. Quoted for visibility of others and yes you can use this site to upload images as it's developed for forum users after other sites blocked the images from third party sources. Rest best of luck to all participants for this contest. ~Happy Pizza Day~ Gather the ingredients for the pizza: https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/06/01/wMmSa.jpeg https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/06/01/wMmSa.jpeg Pizza shape createing: https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/06/01/wMTal.jpeg Finally the pizza is ready to eat: https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/06/01/wMtt1.jpeg https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/06/01/wMzcm.jpeg Thank you very much. Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day
Finally I can take part in this contest, even though I am not an expert in making pizza, and I am very happy and proud to be able to take part in this contest, and with hard work I can finally present the pizza I made. I tried to carve the bitcoin logo with a knife, it always failed because the cheddar cheese was so soft and brittle, I wasn't good enough to see it. Imho, cheddar is not the best solution for bitcoin pizza due its high fat percentage meaning it can't handle the oven heat good and will melt very fast. I've been making bitcoin themed pizza for years and experimented with all sort of cheeses; from cheddar, gouda, ementaler, harvati, edam, milner and many others to even halloumi which is known for its resistance to heat (thats why its usually grilled), but imho taste doesn't fit pizza good). Through trial and error I realized that Milner showed the best results as it was a yellow cheese that generally goes well on pizza, and most importantly its not too fat, meaning it can handle oven heat (up to 200 degrees for 7-8 minutes) while keeping consistency so for the next year bakeoff I suggest you to try with that one. Few examples from previous years, done with milner cheese. Jump to:
