Only webtricks and bitcoingirl.club had picked KKR to win. I had picked RCB to win along with a bet placed for them. But so far, RCB seems have lost the match already. 7 wicket down already. KKR should have the match won as the target won't be high. RCB has now again turned into unpredictable as they were in the previous edition.

^^ @minairia3 sorry bro, this thread is for Participants only.

Ok so this match is done and dusted already?  Grin Tongue

Now let's focus on next match. lol

Oh wait i forgot about Sir Jadeja and Lord Thakur.
Haha I sometimes feel it Should be illegal in IPL to have both Lord Sharadul and Sir Jadeja in one team, this is absolutely unfair treatment towards other teams unless you want them to merely participate in the tournament and not make any significant achievement. Grin Good for CSK that Faf played the match but sheer bad luck for MI that they had to drop their captain and star player Hitman in the very first match, without him obviously it looked like a one-sided affair and a defeat in the first match means losing momentum very early in the tournament, Hitman needs to regroup moving forward in the tournament. On Paper MI looks so good, but form of almost all the players is quite untested.
Thakur saab again took his 1st wicket in his first over. lol

Why Rohit didn't play yesterday, busy with vada pav or what? And i noticed that you and couple of guys cheated yesterday by not opting for any options. Tongue

Predicted CSK would win comfortably and they didn't let me down. They struggled at the beginning, but Pollard screwed up big-time by allowing spinners to bowl when their fast bowlers were on fire.

Rituraj was lucky initially since he survived a couple of close calls and he played fabulously till the end. MI seriously missed Rohit who could have made a big difference.

Next up is RCB vs KKR. My prediction is that RCB will win this one easily since they have been playing really well in recent times while KKR have been struggling in comparison.

Great comeback by CSK!
Ruturaj was excellent; so does Bravo at the end in his style. I didn’t expect CSK to set a target of above 130. They were in trouble indeed. I had a bet for MI at the beginning and placed more amount with low odds. But this seems risky now for me. Target for MI is 157 & that's not going to be easy.
Ruturaj is now the highest individual scorer against MI for CSK.

Mumbai now needs 75 runs from 48 balls to win. Not a very tough match. Pollard and Tiwary are batting now. If Mumbai does not lose wickets and Pollard gets a chance to play some more overs then Mumbai will win the match. Still, Chennai's captain Dhoni. He is very experienced. He knows exactly when to decide to win the match.

Anyone opted for CSK today? Not all of the participants have locked their picks, but I can see that 4 out of 6 have gone for Mumbai Indians. And most of the participants think that the winning margin (irrespective of the side) will be small. Right now, it is really unpredictable. I have made my prediction based on the fact that some of the important players are not available for CSK today. Their 4 overseas players are likely to be - Moeen Ali, Dwayne Bravo, Imran Tahir and Josh Hazlewood (last one is not confirmed, Lungi Ngidi may be picked instead of Josh).

Did you run any statistical experiment for this prediction? Otherwise, why would you pick narrow for all? I haven’t looked at the previous stats but if most matches ended as narrow margin, you are likely to get a lot of points.
I'm not going such straight. I have picked MI to win with a narrow margin though I haven’t locked yet. I may change the pick depending on who is going to bat first. But for whatever the case is, MI to win will be my bet.

Another question I have is that FAF du Plessis, Pollard, and Bravo arrived late on 16th September which means they didn't do the necessary quarantine of 6 days, are they eligible to play tomorrow or not?
https://www.insidesport.co/csk-playing-xi-vs-mi-sam-curran-unavailable-faf-du-plessis-doubtful-robin-uthappa-likely-to-be-drafted-in-csk-playing-xi-follow-live-updates/

I guess CSK will have to manage without Curran and Faf in their opening encounter against MI which is a big blow since these two have been in good form in recent times. Will be interesting to see how Uthappa performs in CSK.

When you have nothing to hide 😉

Lol. Did you lock all of those picks? Personally, I would choose comfortable for all of them instead since it is usually the optimal option based on what I observed.

Forgetting ABD, Maxwell and gentle giant Kyle Jamieson ?
Have no idea why some people don't think that RCB don't stand a chance at winning this particular IPL edition. They have played well in majority of the games so far and their prospects of winning are pretty high currently.

I agree, this year they looked excellent. Every player chipped in so far, even Maxy got his mojo back once RCB bought him.

Am in 9th position thanks to a streak of wrong predictions.
I don't want to make fun because at start you, me and royse(i guess) were sitting at the bottom together.

Having said that lol its funny Grin Grin
Have the fixtures been rescheduled? I thought matches were starting off right from where we left the tournament last time but I see MI vs CSK match tomorrow which means all the fixtures were redesigned or maybe they have just pushed up CSK vs MI match as a starter to ensure the finalists of the last year playing the first match?
CSK team looks so old on paper, many senior citizens like Raina, Uthhapa, Dhoni, Raydu, Jadeja, and I think chances are all of them would play, Another question I have is that FAF du Plessis, Pollard, and Bravo arrived late on 16th September which means they didn't do the necessary quarantine of 6 days, are they eligible to play tomorrow or not?

A few correct match with right margin will drastically change your #position. In last edition, I was in the same position as of you but luckily was able to get back.
In superbru, I have never seen someone getting a GSP point other than this competition. Can someone elaborate more what's it all about and how it works?

Feels like IPL 2020 all over again. This gap could turn the tables around for some teams. Kohli stepping down as the T-20 captain after the T-20 World Cup surprised me and I am curious to see how RCB gets affected by this decision.

CSK or RCB felt like the best contenders to win IPL 2021, but I am not so sure anymore because of the gap. Excited to continue playing in the prediction pool with you guys.

Definitely not RCB. Apart from Kohli, the other players are also not in form. I am talking about Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal. But the players to watch out for are Singapore player Tim David (impressed a lot of people during this year's edition of the Caribbean Premier League), Wanindu Hasaranga and  Mohammed Siraj. I am hopeful about Devdutt Padikkal as well. For me, the teams with maximum chances to win this year's trophy are Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai is currently at the 4th spot, but I hope they can go up quickly.

Who else is doing random selection?
Possibly I will too as it will take few matches to understand who is going to perform how. The gap made me confused as well.
I think MI will be back as they do every time and there's a big chance for them this time too. And I don’t think RCB will be the champ. Though they have a so called great squad, their performance isn't. Virat Kohli will be playing free of pressure or more pressure  Grin
