It does me laugh a bit. Steals millions, hardly anyone cares, Jon Montroll doesn't even have a negative trust rating.  I gave him a negative trust rating a few months ago, and I think, one other guy. Isn't that weird.

That's because you have the wrong people in your Trust-list (let me guess: DefaultTrust?). For me, Ukyo shows up with a ton of negative trust.

he just either has to keep his word or say that he's no longer involved.
Could you please quote his word regarding a time frame? AFAIR nobody who was involved gave ever an ETA.
I don't see where somebody is not keeping his word. Plus I don't see a benefit from a statement
of Danny that he would be no longer involved.

Bad trust ratings for Danny sure....but not for Ukyo?

It does me laugh a bit. Steals millions, hardly anyone cares, Jon Montroll doesn't even have a negative trust rating.  I gave him a negative trust rating a few months ago, and I think, one other guy. Isn't that weird.

Again I wonder if he paid off a lot of users because I just can't fathom why so few people seem to be upset that this thief took their money.

My bad trust rating for Jon / Ukyo is already 2 months old.

As for Danny, he replied to my PM yesterday. Basically he used sarcasm to tell me that it would be unfair to give him negative feedback because he just wanted to help. I replied that it was totally not the point, sarcasm is inappropriate and that he just either has to keep his word or say that he's no longer involved. As simple as this. Waiting for follow-up.

Ukyo, did you finally disappear?

He is still around, but as it seems without progress.

At this point i would almost rather force him into bankruptcy than continue this charade... The MTGox BS sounds so close to what we have been dealing with but on an accelerated schedule. Makes me thinks I'm a fool for giving my continued trust.
Amen to that.

Hello Danny,

Everyone at Neo & Bee are now involved in this resolution process.

(...)

You can have my word that everything conceivably possible, to resolve these problems are being done to the best of our abilities.

We don't know each other, but given your promise in your OP, the money that is involved here, and the total lack of progress recently, I hereby publicly - and copy by PM to you - urge you to either distance yourself entirely from Ukyo and amend your OP accordingly, or bear the responsibility for him. That means negative feedback will be given, associated to your account and will not be removed until the issue is resolved on your side.

My patience is at an end, and I encourage every victim here following this topic to send the same PM and to do the same negative feedback if no statement is made within a reasonable period of time. So please, Danny, if you are a victim of Ukyo yourself, please explain and distance yourself from him to avoid negative feedback.

Please understand my position, even MtGox was eventually forced to release the awful truth.

Thanks for your attention.

Regards,

Matt

agreed.

Basically, bad rating will maybe result in bad press for Neo, so this is our only hope, because ukyo is clearly doing very little to nothing to solve the situation. I have send the same PM

Ukyo, did you finally disappear?

Why in the world would he disappear?  That would involve being on the move, looking over his shoulder, etc., etc.  The way things are now, all he has to do is type a few random words every couple of days, and everybody's happy.  With MtGox folding, he's not even news any more.  Give it a few more months, and everyone will stop bugging him.
This is Bitcoin Undecided

Yeah yeah...

I agree, Danny's intervention prevented an active action against Ukyo. Now are been months without updates on this matter, I understand he is running a company (and seems very well) that drains efforts and time, but he personally give us his word to fix the issue, and that it would have been his priority.
I don't see his word has been honoured

Ukyo truly is a sucker trying to be funny and smart but no one gives a fuck, give back our money and GTFO.

Ukyo was quite active on IRC yesterday. I think I missed the first part but this is what I got:
Code: (#bitfunder)
<[\\\]> des`: progress for whom? ;-)
heh
making progress all around
heh
just wish there wasnt so much red tape
...
Ukyo, updates?
heh
* Syloq asks expecting an ans...holy crap
I need my thousands of satoshi!
thats what... 1 gox token?
:P
was Bitfunder the first malleability victim?
er
bitfunder never touched bitcoins
oh you know what i mean!
weex
...
i didn't think it was amalleability issue, but a sql one
HTML/code wasn't disabled on support tickets for bitfunder/weex
defenitely not the issue
never had an issue of sql injection
Red tape-AKA-getting my bitcoin out of Gox.

Was listening to Charlie Shrem on LTB last night. What struck me was how much faith and belief the upper echelons still gave Gox/Mark K, by continuing to use/deposit/trade funds there. Lots of reflection going on at the mo with some movers and shakers out there, with regards to diligent judgement of risk. Reasonable judgement has been clouded for many, and im sure much self-flagellation will play out when they question why Mark's pedestal was so stupidly high.  Huh

Anyway, it seems inconceivable Ukyo did not have funds at Gox. So theres another excuse, right there.   Lips sealed

For those who do not know me, I am Danny Brewster of Neo & Bee (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=289730.0;topicseen) Neo & Bee has agreed to take an active role in ensuring this situation gets resolved.

I have a full understanding of the situation (...) . The biggest question is going to be “why or how has this happened?” I will be providing the answer in full (...)

To this end, we would like to ask that everyone continues to be patient while the final preparations are put in place that will allow for users to enable recovery of their funds, (...)

It's probably an unrelated crime, but the coverup scheme is the exact same: just keep quiet, occasionally alluding to legal reasons for not disclosing anything, while other people hint and imply that some sort of government intervention or seizure may or may not have occurred.  Is it true? Who can tell? Certainly not the bagholders.  What is truth anyway?  THIS IS BITCOIN
