I don't know what you mean - my 130 shares from backup converted to um forgotten, but about what I was expecting. Have you told the bitpi.t guys you lost 15000 shares on ESMPPS? Every share should be paid eventually.

Yes, if you lost shares we'd love to know. We don't discouraged hoppers or part time miners. Every shares is worth exactly the same, currently 0.00002957012484727944 BTC.

Anyone who thinks they might not have received their fair share of rewards please PM me with your pool username and I will look into in detail.

Erg, my bad I take back what I said.

I only noticed now that bitpit had a fast round just after the last round I had my shares in. Woops.

Sorry again, I dont usually badmouth something that im not certain about, small mix up :/

Try bitp.it - I get lowest stales with them.

Stupid hopping bitpit, my 15000 shares from backup turned into 1 share. What is the point of wasting your backup usage on a pool that will eventually turn those shares into worthless junk.

why just one backup? and which is it? It'd be good to do a poll and backups - which and why.

Why just 1? Because I in 3 days got 5 shares on my 2ndary backup pool. Ddin't seem worth it to have fractions of bitcents on yet a pool.
Which is it? ArsBitcoin, which as things look now will probably be the pool I switch to full time should hopping become obsolete.

Triplemining changed there API Adress, you have to change the code to:
Code:
api_address:http://api.triplemining.com/json/stats
api_method:json
api_key:solved

I'm pretty good with Python so I could add miner stats (mhash/s, submitted shares, stales, etc) and health stats (from this script) to the pool hopping proxy if you want, just let me know and I'll get started.
....

hey, capable programmers are always needed in communities like this, you could try making a fork and add some of your stuff to it Smiley  c00w had a thought on mysql integration days ago but I think lack of time didn't permit him to make it reality, it would be nice to have powerful stats in this project although

I just thought it might be better to have my miner switch to directly connecting to a backup pool, if there isn't any work coming from bitHopper for whatever reason: out of work (with backup pool disabled), bug, crash, down, because of upgrade, ...

Just to be sure. When I disable the backup pool it means that no new work will be pushed if there isn't a pool that's good to hop onto? Or does it mean it will stick using the last one or something like that?

you're only using one backup pool? Or you want to disable all backups for some reason? I think it will just go to the pool with the smallest total shares, even if they're above the cut off point.
Correct. I run with just 1 backup pool, and if that fails it switches to the pool with the lowest share count, even if it's above the limit.

@c00w:

How does 'efficiency' take into account difficulty? Is it the diff that the shares were obtained at, or the most recent diff for all shares? Just I noticed haven't gotten any efficiency below 200%, which is awesome but sounds too good to be true.

I go out for a day a triplemining is faking stats to BitHopper. I'm sure someone noticed, but thought I'd give a warning before catching up on the reading.

Finally had to apply the commit mentioned earlier to fake the user agent: https://github.com/ryouiki/bitHopper/commit/e8fa81053efa238c062d03603c44eeecf4a87523

There isn't a ryouiki release with the correct api pull for triple.

are you sure you switched to the api method suggested by mrsam?

and he already announced HERE that he will fake stats when accessed through the https site (which i am fine with and which i can understand)

You know what else? It would be really hard to split the bits of coins like I was going to because it doesn't depend on the team you join but the referral link you use. So what we could do is:

You (Joules) join via my link (yes, and get a new account, change worker names and passwords etc - sucks I know, sorry) Then you publish your link for the next hopper, then they publish theirs. I get something for you joining, You get something for the next person joining and I get nothing, etc.

Want to give it a try anyway?

yep when i click your link it says "you already have an account.. If you want to have people join your minipool, give them your personal url!"

kinda lame as I was going to join you. Just dont want to have to abandon my account to do that.
