By all means, avoid antpool if you want, but if you want to mine with someone who doesn't run around with his head up his ass you're much better off with Bitminter.

By the way, whoever mentioned SPV mining being 0 transaction blocks, well they are two different things but they are also commonly used together. Why? Because if you are a scumball, you are going to be one in more than one way, usually many more. So you'll see the terms used in the same conversation.
If anyone tells you not to base your morals on technical data they are just pulling things out of their ass.
What better information would there be to cast a moral decision than using a variable such as technical data? What better facts would come about to help in your quandary? Feelings? Emotions? NO

Some people here are able to influence others because they have a tag by their name which shows Legendary or Hero, but for the rest of us we are influenced by the people who have a long-standing reputation for honesty and not caring if that comes with being politically correct.

To be honest, I run p2pool (ideological reasons) and my backup is antpool but I may have to throw you guys in as #2.

Forget empty blocks, antpool appears to be mining with their soft limit still at 750000 (as are slush and a few others).

If you dont like the idea of leaving money on the table, I'd suggest moving to another pool.

Edit: Hmm, I see miners don't get the fees from the pool so probably moot. Not great for the nework though.

Ok, the dudes making the mining software come out on top. Best of the rest is closer to antpool than Kano. While Bitcoin dev Luke-Jr's pool is last.

Mining at Kano would be to support a certified asshole. Bitminter? Sure, go ahead. Difficulty should be stabilizing soon. The others inbetween? Meh...

This, however, doesn't show who's mining empty blocks. There are lots of different reasons why miners won't mine full blocks. I would be careful with moralizing on technical issues like this.

I'm sure myself and others would be happy to carry on discussing this (Not that I am that knowledgeable on this subject). HAHA yeah, and if I was a miner at their pool I wouldn't stand for it. Not including their own transactions is stupid and just asking for their miners to find a better pool (Not that including only their own is acceptable). Not to mention that the likes of these bad pools also refusing to include certain other pools transactions is also wrong on so many levels.
