I'm starting to agree with Kano on the subject of this pool is screwed in the head for several reasons.

1. No clear instructions on what to really do and the differences between them. Like for instance is it a requirement to have this p2p code to mine on the p2p node? And if it is then why is there no instructions on the website.

2. No listing of shares accepted only rejected who cares about this?

3. The 10 min stat still hasn't worked for me yet

4. Not liking this pool already as I had to quick change before leaving town for the weekend and choose the p2p node, but now finding out it doesn't work. So why if it doesn't work or since there is no instructions saying this code is required to use it are these nodes even listed there? And you wonder why ppl are pissed I for one am because of this. Why? Because now I have to wait 3 days to change my ants and loosing $ due to your screw up.

5. I also agree with others on this posting that bitmain was a top notch company with great CS and everything, but now wtf did y'all do?

6. If what Kano says it true about the S3 coding bricking units due to the firmware and my new S3 gets bricked when I plug it in and run. Lord help your CS because I wont stop calling til you replace it. And idc if I bought it from you or not that shouldn't matter due to another screw up.

7. I'm tired and could go on but ill stop here.... For now... Also my ant has been mining on your p2p node for 36 hours and not a single payment yet. When I do get home and still no payment bye bye antpool and bitmain wont get another $ from me either.

8. I'll file a ticket when I get home....

Edit: Filed a ticket and this is the slowest service I've ever seen been sitting there
In waiting status for over 48 hours. O my bad it's waitting status... I don't know of another pool that is this slow...

Edit: Stopped mining for 24 hrs and now payments are coming in that tells me something is wrong with the payment system.

If all you are is a messenger who repeats what someone else types, then you are a waste of time.
Using the excuse that you know nothing but wish to simply repost a statement saying that they are looking into it just proves you are a waste of time.

Apart from I was the one that passed your message on to them to make them aware, and galvanise the response in the first place. I quoted the message to confirm it was indeed a BITMAIN employee as it was the first post on that account.

I really don't understand the hostility here.
You posted it last, so I replied to your post ... I you don't want replies then don't post.
... but I added my opinion of you simply reposting their post with an attempted positive spin on something bad ... and then hiding behind "Don't shoot the messenger" when my comment was indeed that you are just a messenger (but tried to put a positive spin on it) Tongue

I've had direct email from Bitmain before about my posts here, where they attempted to convince me that all was good.
It isn't all good and in this case the "bad" was their choice as they even stated in their reply.
Then you tried to put a positive spin on that ... i.e. as I first replied: "Sigh, you don't read do you."

If you don't like Antpool, Bitmain or anything else then that's fine - just keep it civil.

I hate to jump in on this But, if you look over the blockchain logs you will find that KNC is dropping empty blocks as well, just can't complain to them unfortunately.
So does Eligius, EMC and any pool that uses the Eloipool trash code.
Not sure who else.

That was one of my points in the earlier post - what does the non-p2pool Antpool use?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9811647

Did they use Eloipool?
Did they copy the stupidity from Eloipool?
Did they write it from scratch?

tldr, we care, we're working on it
Sigh, you don't read do you.

In that case I'm not sure what you want anyone to do here... You complained about something, it was reported to those involved as soon as I saw it, it was passed onto the relevant engineers within 2 hours of that and within that hour the engineer had looked at it and reported to the forum.

If you don't believe it will get fixed or anyone cares - that's fine - but don't get angry at me for it.

As I said, you don't read.

Either they wrote the non-p2pool Antpool and chose to create the empty blocks, or they copied the code from somewhere else and don't know what they are doing.
Feel free to choose which it is - though would be better if Bitmain said which it was.

Quote
Meanwhile, as a Pool, we shall ensure the mining profit of each miner who points miner to Antpool. Currently a Block rewards are far larger than the transaction fees. Therefore empty blocks allowed are to ensure Pool Luck.
I'm not sure how that says anything but what I said.
They coded the empty blocks coz they saw that as a way to increase pool profits at the expense of bitcoin.
But worse, they coded it that way and don't know any way to resolve this issue ... or ... they took the easy path of sending out empty blocks coz they don't care about mining empty blocks.
They've been doing this for a while - it's not new.

There's a bunch of pools out there that don't do this.
There's one that is fully open source and the code is readily available.
CKPool

Yes we do realise that Bitmain don't read Con's and my code even though it is free open source code.
It's been happening for ages with cgminer.

Dogie, stop being an obnoxious twat. I love the way you choose not to quote the most relevant part that was highlighted & underscored so as to be easily seen, ie:

R&D team members who are providing supports in this thread:

    ktzhan
    xlc1985

It also clearly says that the two are R&D (Research & Development) - not engineers as you also wrongly state.

You make yourself look more stupid every post here. Always wrong. Go away...... Roll Eyes

I don't think being an 'R&Der' is a career. I believe you'll find the correct term is an engineer, as is their job title and as I already said. Its also amusing that you think an 'R&Der''s job is to 'support'. No, they're engineers that develop and maintain their products, in this case Antpool.

Its pretty clear you don't actually care about this subject matter or any of the other threads you follow me into, and you're just posting do you can swear at me. Why don't you open a scam accusation thread so you can concentrate all your abuse in one place?

Yet another bitmain support account

They're not 'support' accounts, they're accounts for engineers to use.

Wrong again dogie, as usual - read what it says:

Those are both engineers. You can make up whatever you want, it doesn't make it true.

Now, how about you go away & give the 100's of S3 owners with bricked/broken miners due to bitmains broken firmware some of your infamous support that you unselfishly & modestly gave yourself 10/10 for will you?  Roll Eyes

Dear Community,

Etc, etc........

Hello BITMAIN_LCXU,

Yet another bitmain support account, that's good. Will you also be disappearing off the face of the earth after a couple of posts like the previous two bitmain "support" members have?:

R&D team members who are providing supports in this thread:

    ktzhan
    xlc1985

Or do you plan on actually hanging around a while?

I can see that there were a total of 8 Bitmain accounts created on 14/11/2014, presumably to improve the lack of support so far from Bitmain on this & many other issues. However, since that date, the entire "support" team have posted a total of 20 times in just over a month - which works out at just over 1 post every 2 days between 8 Bitmain accounts - with 3 of those accounts yet to post anything at all - hardly enough to be classed as "support" is it?

Bitmain have degenerated from a market leader with cutting edge hardware & support at competitive prices - to a sub standard, cloud mine promoting outfit that produces over priced hardware with untested & broken software/firmware releases that is now doing it's best to harm the Bitcoin network with pool code that has been badly written in a rush to cash in on the "p2pool decentralization" money boat.

I was a loyal Bitmain customer since the S1, but after witnessing what you are doing and have become, I am no longer. I suggest you change your business model or slide into the black hole of oblivion as has every other hardware manufacturer before you who has followed the same path you are on.

Dear Community,

The reason generating an empty block is that Antpool has multi- nodes, then there is a large amount of data per Block. In order to ensure multiple nodes sync timely, then we would first sync Block Header, which results in an empty block found in a short time. We are now trying to solve this problem.

Meanwhile, as a Pool, we shall ensure the mining profit of each miner who points miner to Antpool. Currently a Block rewards are far larger than the transaction fees. Therefore empty blocks allowed are to ensure Pool Luck.

We are working on solving these problems, also hope Bitcoin enthusiasts can come up with better solutions: both to ensure the Pool luck, but also to ensure a better Bitcoin methods, such as the Super Bitcoin network or backbone network etc…

[BITMAIN account]

tldr, we didn't care about bitcoin, we only cared about the payout, we're pretending working on it because we were caught out.
Sigh, you don't read do you.
Corrected your false statement.
