Can anybody help me please? Why does my E3 not work at full capacity? I attached the photo. I do not understand the error "BB".  https://ibb.co/cdjfYK
I have two E3 and one of this have got the same problem... but only for one chain... i send to Bitmain mail with the problem and the photo and they told me to open a ticket and return the miner..... this miner have got different code to other miner... bb and cc are error code.....

What is different code?? What it means?
I connect to miningpoolhub and 2 out of 5 my miners show this error, and the remaining 3 work properly. Technical support bitmain did not offer me to create a ticket and send the miner back, but offered to connect to antpool. Could this be the solution to my problem?

BB is a new one on me, it's usually 00 or XX with antminers. Reboot and see if that fixes it, if not I suggest contact Bitmain's support.

plus side? right now an e3 makes barely $1 a day , At least with gpus u can sell if this bear market holds
right now ppl are stuck with them, praying for this downturn to end

That's the market, not the network. Actual earned ETH per day hasn't dropped very much because the network was already huge and the E3 is no more efficient than midline gpus. ETH has dropped significantly; if you're not cashing out daily, it makes little difference unless the market doesn't recover.

Update: Second hashboard on the E3 has shit the bed.

Super disappointed in the quality of this shipment. When I received it, the E3 had one DOA board, plus the metal around the control board was loose and rattling. Now a second board has failed? Come on.

Bitmain is pulling the "Send it in for warranty" card.

Sorry for your bad luck but not sure what you expect Bitmain to do about it.  EVGA has not offered anything different for my failed graphics cards.  I send them in and wait for replacements.

I have been running 9 E3 units with A3++ power supplies since the first batch shipped.  All solid and no failures so far.  They are a nice addition to my graphics card rigs at less than half the cost.

Considering that Bitmain offers a warranty and the unit already contained failed hardware on receipt, it's DOA to me. I'd expect it to be replaced.

I would expect that as well.  Isn't that why they told you to send it in under warranty?  Or are you expecting red carpet service with them picking it up and replacing it?

On the plus side, the ethash network was already so crowded that you're only losing mining time, not opportunity like with the new release of any other miner...

Hi guys,
I can't get my e3 to hash, it keeps bootlooping afte 5 - 6 min

tried antpool, nano, spark and 2miners, with or without password and it keeps resetting after 5 min

stratum+tcp://stratum-eth.antpool.com:8008
Quentin#0x020f968ETHADDRESS.12CBC06FBEC4

FIXED
it turns out it's either your eth address or your sub account, not both Cheesy

stratum+tcp://eth.2miners.com:2020

stratum+tcp://eu.sparkpool.com:3333

still looking for other pools but no more emergency, if anyone could share a nano or spark working config that'd be great Smiley

reboot through the control panel

Yesterday I had to reboot 3 of 10 units that had stopped hashing.  I lost access to two of these through the web interface.  Was able to ssh into them and reboot.  The 3rd, I rebooted through the web interface.  All came back up and are working fine.

Strange that these all crashed on the same day.  This is the first problem I have had with them.

Anyone else had this issue?

Put it back on Nanopool

Url = eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 (or address based on your location)
User = Your ETH address
Password= Your email address

Then go do something else. Come back and check it in about 20-25 minutes. It should be working by then.
It is normal for it to switch between BB and CC multiple times before it starts hashing. It is going to be very loud while it is switching.
Once it starts working, it will quiet down

hoho, price went up quite a lot since 1st post. Already at 1270 USD .

New to the thread?  Did you miss late in April when the E3 price was raised up to $2200?  $800 was the introductory price.  I assume the recent drop down to $1270 is Bitmain's reaction to slow sales over the past month.

Any data points on "At the Wall" power consumption of the Antminer E3?

I just measured one Antminer E3 powered with a Bitmain A3++ plugged into a Kill a Watt showing 119.5 VAC.

Avg power 750 Watts while mining on nanopool avg 197.99 H/S
Avg amps shows 6.3

Two of these on a 15 amp circuit just have the recommended 20% safety margin.

People if you want to link Antminer e3 with nanopool then you can not enter 2 URL with nanopool. url 1 only gives nanopool data and leaves url 2 and 3 free or inserts other pool.
