I'm in BTC XTC
Just got shipping notice for my S17 so it went out on time, if waiting months for an over(pre)paid item is considered 'on time'...!  Roll Eyes

Haven't had any downgrades here, what does that communication look like if you're willing/able to share?

I have no notice of a downgrade.  Or a shipment.

I will say this :

the t17e   came late 9-10 days
the t17e   was rated 50th and 2750 watts   it does 53th and 3350 watts in a cool spot

so 55watts a th is more like 63watts a th.

So the idea that the t17+  is fucked up a bit does not surprise me based on my 2 t17e units

I do not recommend buying  the t17e
Once I get my t17+

I will review it and see how it compares to the t17e

Bitmain has problems to ship Antminer T17+ 64TH/s.

They want to give me an T17+ 61TH/s???

Has anybody the same shipping problems?

I have one on order I will check.

If they downgrade you go to the refund/credit/coupon thread.  Make a report on the thread and open a ticket on bitmain to get a BTC refund of 60/64 about 5% seems fair.

Do you have any that don't expire in January? If so I might be interested. I realized using the overclocking and downvolting firmware I was talking to you about: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/asicto-firmware-s17-95ths-t17-80ths-t17-40wt-s17t17-on-over-200k-asic-5208500

Is doing pretty well I should try to snag a few more machines and I am hoping for a price drop on the machines and buying coupons is wise.

look they sent emails promising coupons of 57 to me and buysolar.

they they would be issued.  back in december.

they simply dont give a fuck.

it doesnt matter that i spent over 200000 with them.
it doesnt matter that even though most of us dont like them.

they know no one is selling a piece of gear as efficient as the s17pro.

so the simply act like they own the place.

which pretty much they do.

I'm not sure how they even keep track of which products/orders were listed with a "Product Reference Price" and should receive a coupon for price difference after delivery if price is lower. The T17 I ordered had the notes about reference and actual price when ordered, but when I checked the product link on my invoice now, the notes about pricing and coupon are all gone so they modified them sometime after I ordered. This was a 38TH/s version which is no longer available and 40TH/s version was launched a couple days after I ordered at $150 cheaper. I'm expecting at least a $150 coupon, but the way they do things leaves them plenty of room to manipulate pricing to not issue coupons.

Question about these coupons if anyone could clarify
I ordered 3x s17e on launch days one in September 9, 10.”, and 11
They were priced with launch prices I believe 2784 2683 2683 plus shipping
They don’t have a current price as you can’t buy it to have it ship out in 7 days like the s17 pro 50t
They have a batch for December and January that are just over 2000 I believe 2083 for the earlier one
My units will ship out this week next week and week after
Should I expect any coupon, am I suppose to get one ? If not is there any chance they throw one in ?
Let’s say one ships out this week what price is used and how is it calculated ?
Any input appreciated !

The issuance of coupons is pretty much a wtf thing.   You simply never know what they will do.

Just checked my S17 Dec. batch preorder and the price listed dropped. Originally was $2107, now listed at $1681. Seems premature with still over a month before they are supposed to ship, but looking like $426 credit per S17 coming as of now...

I can't remember which it was the 741's maybe but you could stop cgminer and it would then idle along. I liked it for when I was preparing to shutdown for cleaning/repair/moving the gear. I still hate just pulling the plug on equipment pulling a few KW's, without idling down first. Unfortunately not nothing I currently run full time has that feature.
Good on them, as it could be really useful for people running borderline on temperatures as well.

ok so kinda like what I thought but without scheduling. Maybe they just remote in and select "sleep mode" and the miner powers down to idle? and then they can go in and uncheck it and it fires back up.

that is great if that is the case - because sometimes you just cannot physically get to the miner at that point in time.

So, just did the Bitmain firmware upgrade on my Pro-50 and non-pro 56.   Seems to have added "sleep mode".

Anyone know what this new Sleep Mode actually does?

From their site:
1. Enhance anti-virus capability
2. Add sleep mode.
3. Improve memory and temperature module. 4. Use new build tools to build firmware.

As far as I understood, sleep mode is like turning off your machine, except it leaves it idling and you can turn the mining on again whenever you want. So basically, I think "sleep mode" only disables the miner. And that can be useful for people who want to turn off the miner at certain times without phisically plugging it off or deleting miner config.

Maybe sleep mode is something like scheduling? Where you can program down times or start up times?

Didn't see anywhere to add times.  Just another dot to select from, above low power/normal/turbo.

Also noticing temps are running a little cooler, fans seem to be running better, and I'm no longer showing the three xxx chips on my boards.  Friend had the same issue, three xxx showing bad chips, that he surmised was a software glitch.  Thats gone now

The 6-20p receptacle are cheap.

A 50 amp pdu means a lot bigger wire gauge . 6 gauge maybe 4 if the run is longer.

The 20 amp can use 10 gauge maybe 12 gauge depends on run length and codes in your town.

agreed with that statement its cutting it too close no room for fluctuation
i have a dual pull20a@240 currently and run s17pro on it just took out the s15
i have room for two more dual 20a@240 to be installed and cables run 25feet
i also will fill my fuse box with that which is ok

so i was looking at best way to power 2 s17e 1 s17pro
if the best way is to install 3fuses 20a run 3 25ft cables to 3 receptacle 6-20p ill do that
i am open to a 50 pdu if it will cover all 3 or other suggestions? whats the best way to do this

could be c13 or c19 i cant make it out Sad
