The T3 is on par with the T17 , and the new T3+(57Th) should be on par with S17. Perhaps a bit lower efficiency. I think it will be close when undervolted to around 50th.
from what I can tell:
the T2T 30T is 73 J/TH
the T3+ 57T is 58 J/TH
the T3 50T is 62 J/TH
the S17 is either 45 J/TH or 40 J/TH depending on mode
the S17 Pro (both versions) is either 45 J/TH, 39.5 J/TH and 36 J/TH again depending on mode
the T17 is 55 J/TH
so it really depends on mode for the Bitmain versions to be better
but with Bitmain's outrageous prices the decrease in efficiency might still be negligible with the faster roi.
Bitmains worst - the T17 at 55 J/th is right about even with Innosillicon's best the T3+ at 58 J/TH
so based on the prices 1958 for T17 November delivery and 2230 for Innosillicon's November delivery - the bitmain has the better efficiency and lower price but is also lower overall hashing power - so maybe look at it as how many dollars per TH and Innosillicon is the winner at $39.12 per TH vs Bitmains $48.95 per TH -- I think Innosilicon's lower price per TH more than makes up for the 3 J/TH less efficiency
basically - I am saying my rash statement of 50% better efficiency was an incorrect statement
