I think Fan 3 was taken off a small jet :-)

Seriously, anyone have any idea on what can be causing it so show that speed?

Temps are good, it's been up and mining for 2 weeks now since I last changed pools.
Checked in today to verify all was good as I got a notification from my secondary pool and saw the speed of a fan that does not exist.

I sent a T9+ to the USA CA address via UPS on June 1 and had a new unit in hand on the June 18

Got my replacement in the other day.
Very used miner, with a bad fan. Sad

Put in a spare fan that I had and it's off and mining. But come on do a little QC on it.
That or DHL dropped it. You never know.

i sent T9+ back to hong kong, courier service delivered the faulty miner on 6th Aug 2018, bitmain updated the ticket to "Collected" on 7th Aug 2018 and sent out replacement on 11 Aug 2018, i will say their support team at HK/ Shenzheng are very efficient Grin

Give it a month. For me it typically takes between 4-10 weeks. If it's out of warranty watch out for the repair order that you're gonna have to pay.

i think they figure the reason of high S9 hashboard failure
it's the power needed for the chips!
so they produced T9 with 180 days warranty
each T9 board have 57 chips instead of 63 and need 480W to power instead of 400W
less chips more power!

No. It is possible to run these at home but keep in mind they are extremely loud at near or above 70db, and they're built to run on 220V though I know some people have found ways to run these on 110V. Some people even manage to sleep in the same room as these miners. How? I don't know.

There are ways to reduce noise, like with a wind tunnel philipma1957 built, but don't expect these to become quiet. I ran S9 these in my garage, and they were still somewhat noticeable from the house.

Tbh i guess bch should rise by the end of summer.

If you think prices on BCH (or even BTC) are going to rise in the future, it's a better option to just buy some BCH and hold versus buying a miner and mining BCH considering your electrical costs and the cost of a T9+ for you.

I advocate for mining, but in your case buying and holding makes more sense if you think BCH will truly rise.

Reliability has been great! Not a single failure from the first batch. Reminds me of the S7s.

In my experience, yes.
Not to say the T9+ is super reliable, but more that the S9 is very unreliable, especially ever since autotune.
