No zuo no die why you try, u zuo u die dont be shy
Given the sharp drop in btc price, I expect sales to resume soon Undecided

Edit:
A surprising finding, folks:
The S9 sale link on Chinese Bitmain now carries 180-day warranty, though it's out of stock. The active R4 sale also carries 180-day warranty.

I am not sure if this is to counter EBit's E9 rigs, which first promoted 180-day in this industry.

I hope international sales will adopt the same policy in next batch!

I see activity on the Bitmain site in Chinese.  They have the R4 listed for sale now, and the L3 placeholder has been put back, but not for sale.  No new activity on the English site.

Why would there be S10, there is no advancment in manufact. tech. Most likely next will be on 7nm at mid/late 2018
Given that ALL companies making chips at the 14/16nm node are having issues with them -- including the likes of IBM, Intel, Samsung, AMD, and others -- 16/14nm mining ASICS are are going to be here for a long while before ASIC and other boutique application chip mfgs seriously considering financing chips at lower nodes.

I have two 13.5th autotunes that came with the Dec 6 firmware. Looks like the Dec 6 firmware takes 8 minutes to fully boot, Nov 29 was seven minutes.
Got a bit leery at the 7 minute mark when the green light was not flashing.
First autotune freaked me out the first time with the long boot sequence.

I have a pre-autotune S9 and recently I reverted it back to BM v1.0. Boot time takes less than 1 min and works for all temp ranges. The autotune fw for some reason would overheat when my temp raises above 0 degC.

Can you provide the BM v.1 firmware?

I do have the fw package. you should be able to find the link to download a few pages forward. someone posted there. if you still have trouble finding it shot me a pm. i can check my mailbox sometime later.

Boy o boy it's really silent at Bitmains site....no communication on any hardware. No option to pay by banktransfer...? What's going on..?

Bank transfer has been gone for a while now.  I suspect everything is in pre-holiday mode there.  If we don't see any new announcements soon(this week and next) then it will be like the second week in Feb before people come back from the holidays in China.

As has been often repeated here: ALL miners from batch-16 and up requires BM v2 auto-tune firmware. The hash boards will not work with BM v1.

Yeah no shit, I have pre-batch 16 miners with V2 so what is your point?
I was shipped a pre-batch 16 11.85th running v2.

edit
Looks like the two 13.5th have different controller boards. One is the new bright green led model, the other is the older non-bright green led.
They both hash at 13.5th.

Doesn't sound like a "problem" to me lol. as long as you know the rules on ebay and don't get greedy selling miners should be smooth sailing. you can never know when someone will try to scam you but that's when selling anything really. I had more scammers hit my laptops i resell than my old miners i resell after upgrading. Just be sure to mark the miners somewhere and take pics of the serial numbers and sticker locations for the boards in case a buyer decides they are going to send you back boards that didn't belong to that miner in the first place. it only takes a few minutes to mark a board and take pics and it could save you some time later on if you do run into a scammer but they aren't as widespread as people think.
I agree, not widespread. Only problems with 2 out of 20. Those were the dropship sales. And everything square now with those.

good info. if the buyer asks for a return they have to pay out the ass for shipping back to you. ebay wont refund them without them sending it back. also overseas orders usually take a while to go through customs on the us side and on their end but the tracking info you have will provide everything ebay requires which is that is was delivered on xx date at the DE location. if it takes another 2-3 weeks to arrive overseas you can tell ebay it tooks them xx weeks to tell you there was an issue and dispute the return. its best to speak with a rep on the phone so you can explain it to them directly instead of trying to settle the dispute through the online dispute section because humans dont check the dispute usually....their automated system accepts just about all return requests even if you know the return is phony.
Fishisfast.com has a DE warehouse where things are shipped to and then sent overseas.

what's the pitfall with dropship company and what is the scammers' strategy? Can you elaborate a bit?
[/quote]
The buyer can buy items to send overseas. First it sits in a locker in DE.
Then they can make a return claim with eBay and blackmail you to send money for things not included or some partial refund for a defective item that is not really defective.
Problem is when they use the drop ship company it invalidates the buyer protection for them.
Just had two return requests cancelled because the buyer protection was invalid on both because of the drop ship.
