Looks like the R4 is back up for sale.  Wonder if another S9 round is coming?  Usually they announce these things, don't they?

R4 sold out within hours. I saw no more S9 on the listing aswell..bitmain will release S10/S11???

Demand more S9 and R4 is soo high and I don't see it coming down soon. I think newer version will take time to release. . I expect it to be released by end of 2017 or by beginning of 2018.

I am having the same opinion. The next upgraded version of the Antminer might be out by the end of 2017 and by the beginning of 2018. Antminer S7 is still running profitable. I wonder if demand for mining hardware would grow in countries like India which is having a higher bitcoin price in the local exchange.

It may do that.  And as of now the .1 or .12 watts per gh  that bitmain gear delivers is more then good enough.

I do not see them doing a release of .05 -.08 watt per gh  gear to the public anytime soon.

The T9 employs the same 16nm ASIC chip as the Antminer S9 and this T9 batch can deliver a hashrate of 11.5TH/s with an efficiency of 0.126J/GH (+7%).

Additional stock available at SCAM Link removed! after 2300 hours (GMT+8) today (17 January 2017).

We advise all to place your order while stock lasts.

Happy mining,

The Bitmain team

Looks like they have just added some extra stock to the website.

Just ordered my first 2 miners Smiley

Looks like the last two batches of miners offered on the Bitmain Chinese store were T9's.  So they may be transitioning to T9's instead of S9's.  Just an observation.

Yep woke up and it's alredy sold out Cheesy

I hope the double fan means were going back to a quiet miner. I grabbed 4 as fast as I saw them, but my 7's still giving me  headache!

Scrapp out'

Doubtful that it will be quite. Just for better cooling

Then why the double fan? Think about it, it's barely higher in hash rate than previous, yet has 2 fans. As a previous owner of damn near every model they have made, double fans = twice the silence.

I may be completely wrong, but that is my experience with bitmain.

T9 - Sold Out After less than 12 hours!

Doesn't look like they over-priced it does it? I wouldn't expect a lower price on the next batch of the T9 if it sells this well.

Bitcoin FTW!
Interesting move on the T9. I wonder if its appearance is related to the recent steep rise in difficulty.

They were due to either release more S9's or something like this. Doesn't matter too much as they're close in efficiency.

This is like a 30% difference in efficiency, not sure that is very close (unless my math is wrong, it is early)

its actually about 20%. 400 vs 480w

S9 spec:
Power Consumption   1078W +10% (Batch 22 11TH) (at the wall, with Bitmain’s APW3 PSU,93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp)

T9 spec:
Power Consumption   1450W  +7% (at the wall, with Bitmain's APW3 PSU, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temperature)

I am still trying to figure out how this is a good thing  --or--  how I can convince myself to buy T9s?    Huh
Well if you find cheap used S9's buy em up, else if you have slightly cheaper electricity go for a T9. Really your choice here, I'd personally go with the S9 as there is no proof of better workmanship on the miner or better underclocking of their chip as of yet on the T9. I'd hold off on the miner until reviews get to the forum.

With t9 at 1450w it is going to use 90% of the bitmain 1600 psu capacity.
Should be 80% for safety.
