I would recommend Eastshore instead of those Ebay sellers.
You can buy from them via their web site www.eastshore.xyz or via Aliexpress.
With Aliexpress you get a buyer protection like with the Ebay.

I've bought one S9 from them directly via their web site and it is running nicely.
I just ordered another one and it is on the way to Finland via Fedex.

How long was/is delivery? Did they do the customs declaration as they state? Also how did you pay them? Btc or credit card through aliexpress?

About a week. Yes. I paid BTC. Bought directly from their web site.

That is excellent.
Just trying to make folks aware of the ongoing scam for s9's on ebay. Too good to be true then probably is not true.

3 of my S9 batch 19 are only running at 11Th and some even 10Th.
Very strange problem. My machines are hosted in labrador so I'm waiting to hear back if its a down board or just a firmware issue.
Really hope its just firmware

I think its just they don't like the cold

I am also having the same issue with my S9 batch 2 hosted in labrador, It has been going great until
lately and seems to completely stop hashing, then start up again. When this started happening, I checked
the outside temps in labrador and it was like -9degrees, it improves around 0degrees, then goes downhill
again when it gets colder, I understand the hosts are looking into the issue

Really wish we could at least get control of the minimum fan speed...  This auto setting is too low and the fan spins up way too often.
I agree, minimum fan speed setting would be excellent.

Just FYI for anyone thinking about the pencil trick to increase voltage I already tried it on my autotune (B19) and it did nothing.  I did it on an older non-autotune one (B3) and it worked wonders.  But the autotune ignored it.  That makes sense though because the autotune is adjusting freq for each chip.  I tried it anyway since I have 2 boards getting 4700 and one board getting 3900 but as I say, it did nothing.

I've been around a while now, sort of. But what is the pencil trick?

I will find the links

Shut down 3 auctions today on ebay where the hacked account was trying to sell 10 antminer s9's for $1500 in BTC.
Looks like they have been pulling this scam every weekend since at least August.

EDIT: Now the same hacked account is selling s9's AGAIN. 7pm est

The folks at ebay are pretty incompetent.

Be careful folks.

Evil beware: We have waffles!
Cut the PIC out of the loop and hardwire the buck on high? Hack the PIC to a fixed voltage and hope the controller doesn't mind?
Well, since the pads/traces for U2 and it's associated resistors are still there, hmm.. Only other choice would be to see if Fubly or the folks behind Awesome Miner can hack the speed per-board and see what happens.

Best would be to be able to hack the Vcore and speeds per-board and bypass the damn auto tune.

Probably the PIC samples the voltage to calibrate the adjustment, so if it's off because of a resistor mod it'll just dial in the DPOT setting to where it wants to be instead of where you want it to be.
Damn, forgot about autotune playing with that. Brainfart...
Now to figure how else to get the weak card up to speed

My batch 18 has a similar problem. main cause is that board 1 is only running at 486MHz while the best board, #3 or chain-8 runs 580MHz. The middle board is around 546 Mhz. Methinks I'll try the pencil mod on #1 to see if it can get up to speed.

A side note to this is that the B18 and probably 19 seems to skip most or all of the auto-tune checks when soft booted. Came up within a few minutes and all boards report the exact same settings.

I've got a couple S9s running.  One of the boards on one unit keeps slowing down to 2TH/s after a couple hours and needs a restart to be normal again.  Not sure what the issue is.  Is anyone else seeing this sort of behavior?

that one is new.

I finally went to the solar array to check on the last two s9's I have.

One works the other went to all x's

I set it from 606 to 525 so now   it is working ..  I am back to 13th + 11.5 th =24.5th

I have old firmware on 2 extra controllers and 1 spare board.  This may get more valuable  over time.

I need to look at this thread on repairs.  I did well with pencil mods on the s1's

@HaggsFIN   the thread above may help

I also lowered fans a lot to get the gear warmer.  80% to 45%
