I think we are past the point of something nefarious going on. A user won 900 ltc last Sunday, rained out 400 ltc to chat and after holding her 500 ltc in a pending withdrawal for 5 days, ended up cancelling the w/d and lost it all.

Sorry for the late post but yeah, just had a hit of nostalgia and seeing my bud send a ltc or two my way in chat (thank you Rare).

Nah, this is pretty frequent on BV, happened even in 2021 with the delays and manual withdrawals. I should be tired of saying it, but BV's got the right mix of degens and laylows to know the deal. Wait for the payment, or lose it.

Site works for those who know how it goes. I'm still playing there every now and then, and I don't mind waiting for days for my withdrawal (or hell instant when the mysterious hot wallet is up).

I recommend staying a week in chat to get a feel for the place to understand what the deal is. Not for the faint of heart, and not for plopping down 1 BTC anymore for sure.

is bitvest a serious player in the game still? thanks for your feedback.

I haven't personally used Bitvest for some time now, but they've definitely been in the crypto gambling game for years.  Like most companies, they've had their fair share of highs and lows.  From what I gather, Bitvest is still active today albeit as a pretty small player compared to the big dogs of crypto gambling.  For me, when I gamble (which isnt too often!), I tend to stick to the major brand names.  In my eyes, they just offer a smoother user experience beefier security, and a bigger variety of games to get stuck into.  But hey, that's just me - if you're looking for something more niche, Bitvest could still be up your alley and  they seem to have their little community still going strong.

Yeah, very well said bud, personally,  I think bitvest have had her glory days, and they are like; gone now if you ask me, what we seem to be seeing at the moment is a recycle of what bitvest used to be, I remember vividly way back then when bitvest and 777coin signature ad and avatars where all over this forum, I mean, majority of the users were either wearing a bitvest signature and avatar, or 777coin signature and avatar, this two casinos were pretty big and popular at the time, but I guess the team or management behind this casino didn't really have any plan of making the casino bigger than they were in those days, and today, I feel that glory is lost or maybe lost since we now have a lot of big casinos whereas if the management of bitvest now decide to make the casino bigger, she may never match up.

Not to mention lightlord's rather nonchalant attitude towards his clients and towards the Bitcointalk community in general. Every once in a while, he'd pop in to make a new announcement or respond to a complaint, but he never seemed genuinely interested in building a strong relationship with the community. Unlike what they used to have. But as you said, their management seemed content to rest on their laurels.

It's a shame, really. With a bit more effort and a better communication with their customers, Bitvest could have been a major player in the crypto gambling industry.

This is so so heartbreaking to be honest 🥺😢, but I blame him a bit, some times, I wonder how some people really go about their gambling activities, even if he could not hold his urge to gamble, there are alot of escape route he should taken, one of such is that, he wouldn't have canceled the withdrawal request, if he trusted the casino so much, he would have simply deposited another fund and gamble with that, allow the withdrawal request to stay there for as long as it will take the admin of the casino to process it, if they don't process, proceed to calling their attention to it by possibly contacting the customer care or creating scam accusation against the casino.

Another thing he would have done is, deposit fund in another casino and continue to play there while waiting for his withdrawal request on this casino to be processed.
Anyways, this is really a sad incident indeed, and I hope the player in question is doing ok.

Before yes they are good, they deliver what people expect them especially when providing good quality platform to their gamblers. But know they are questionable and their reputation has been shake off due to their current issues where lots of people got a problem with their withdrawals due to hot wallet has not been refilled yet.

But many people still look forward for the best where Lightlord would refill their wallets once he is available of have funds to do it since many times they encounter this delay issues and people has knows them know that this is usual things happen in their casino.

People are watching this thread and wait for good updates coming from lightlord.

I'm guessing that guy was also affected by the empty hot wallet. light lord really needs to fix his act and run his casino properly, their hot wallet being empty for days on end should not happen, if he can't manage his casino on his own he needs to hire someone that he trusts that could make decisions that has something to do with issues like this on his behalf.

anyway, that is quite generous for raining out 400 ltc on the chat, it is quite sad that he/she wasn't able to withdraw the 500ltc because of the ongoing issue and decided to gamble again and lose it all.

Bitcoin makes the world go 🔃
To be very honest with you, if it was any other site and not Bitvest, we might have seen plenty of scam accusation cases against them and people leaving the bitvest forever but since most of the people know that Light Lord will refill wallets sooner or later and this keep the players gambling on Bitvest.
And for how long will players keep being patient with delay in withdrawal until anytime Lightlord devises to refill the wallet back and complete all pending withdrawals?

Is it not high time for him to get some partners who can be handling some things for him in his absence in order for them not to be keeping people withdrawals on queue, as I don't think new gamblers who might want to try our Bitvast will find such a delay in withdrawal friendly at all.

The casino is no longer new, which is enough reason for them to put things in place and not this type of on-and-on withdrawal as if they are new to the system.
Exactly, This is not the first time this issue happened and LL  always failed to address this persistent issue whenever he is absent due to medical and other personal issue.

A behavior like this for an operator is very shady. To be honest, if we are talking about new casino or not so established casino here this casino Bitcointalk account will be nuked b6 negative trust and flag but this casino is an old one that makes it receive some consideration from the community.

But I hope LL will change his ways on handling this casino once he comes back. Fingers crossed.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
Normally I would never take the time to make an account on a forum I dont plan to use but this time I think the situation needs another voice.  I have not lost anything to BV. I restrict myself to just playing with tokens and chatting. However recently the Hot Wallet issues have gotten out of hand in chat to the point of unbearable.  LL or Promo need to adress this sooner rather than later. A player recently won a huge amount of ltc  600-900 from what i have been seeing.  She cannot w/d and its sort of sad to see people literally begging for Promo to refill the wallet, even worse it seeing her post screenshots of her balance dwindling because she is raining LTC on people trying to get his attention,  transferring other coins to wallets and getting them locked etc and slowly gambling them away.  When 30-40 of the active players every other chat request is for Promo to fill a wallet so a player can w/d tens of thousands of dollars is where I draw my line and say something.  Even the mods have dried up to the point of only seeing them once in a blue moon.  Not sure about support ticket replies but from the chat they are being closed unanswered or just ignored.

Cheers

WL

Yet, the mystery remains. I mentioned about handing over the administrative job if casino to someone else for over dozen times but he doesn't care about that and now he is no longer active or responding to tickets will make things much worse, People had choices for very long time but they chose to stay here is again another mystery, the loyalty to casino is that much worth even if we potentially lose every dime in our wallet?

Since no one has any clue of what's happening, only LL can give response if he comes back online.

Another solid reason that i believe is the emotional liking of the gamblers to this site. Older gambling sites usually have a reputation for being trustworthy if they've been around for a while. This good trust can be crucial in gambling, where users are handling money and personal information.

Since this is the one of the oldest gambling site, people are emotionally attached to it.

All of what you are saying is a big fallacy because these actions remain completely unprofessional and do not befit a well-established casino like Bitvest, which is supposed to have worked hard for years to build a good reputation. I assure you that all Bitvest users currently are new users because all the established users have abandoned it to avoid these disruptions, especially since there are casinos that offer much better services.

I remember very well what happened with the participants in the Bitvest signature campaign, how they were sometimes forced to wait for months without receiving their payments and how the campaign did not succeed in continuing until a reliable manager was appointed who was keen to fill the wallet whenever necessary and act as escrow also.

these kinds of issues are occurring repeatedly on Bitvest and despite that, I still see there are still gamblers playing in the casino, so I'm curious, why do you guys still play at the casino? if it were me, with how bad and slow they handle things I would have left and looked for a better casino to gamble at.

Surprisingly there are still some high rollers at Bitvest as we can see under the high rollers tab and as we can see on the betID that those bets are placed just today.
Other surprising thing is that there is no one on chat who is complaining about hot wallet, are those who are active on chat not really doing gambling so they do not experience empty hot wallet issue.
Anytime I see a complaint here about empty hot wallet in this thread, I always check the chat room but I never saw the same complaint.
The inactivity of LL makes it even questionable, no other suggestion to repeat, LL should hire some staffs to help him.

That indicate that they really didn't learn from their past mistake made and they just let everything happen since LL know that everything will get back to normal once they are ready to pay on their obligations to people who has pending withdrawals in their casino.

Maybe the idea that they are one of the old casino exist is giving them confidence to gamble here, but if they realize the fact that this issue keep happening here I guess its time to realize that there are lots of good casino here which is also good alternative to try.

Lots of people left already that's why they didn't get much interactions in their thread and this became active only when there's issues happened. So provably those who experience this pending withdrawal issues would find alternative after they experience this scenario since, since for sure that they don't want the same issue will happen again.

so the 170BCH was part of the withdrawal complaint you had with bitvest in the past and you were able to withdraw the other coins that you have on their website except for this 170bch?

Correct.

Quote
have you contacted their support and submitted a ticket regarding it? if so, have they said anything or were they radio silent like last time?
it would be nice if lightlord could address this case and resolve the issue.

I tried DMing Promo a few times in the last few months but never got a response.  I submitted a ticket just now.

I have sent responses from PM on bitcointalk, to not getting a confirmation on the withdraw.
Seeing there is a recent support ticket now.

I'll sort this out accordingly.

Dearest Lightlord,

I wish this message finds you well. The LTC wallet needs a refill, according to friends like Denny who even placed a hefty reward to anybody that'll alert admin , although it may be hard to prove that this message merits the bounty by Denny, it is still worth trying.

Thank you for everything, bitvest related.

But since they have reputation of delays, I maybe guess that people who still gamble in their casino knows that there are days that this incidents will happen. If Lightlord will not fix and top up their hot wallet then maybe we could see a lot more complains will come here.
Pretty much like that. They know that the delays have been normalized so those users that are staying there are aware of this issue.

But it's true that it shouldn't be normalized and we can guess that they're the most loyal gamblers because of being composed while delays of withdrawals are happening.

And it will take time until the wallet gets refilled again by LL or whomever is designated to do that task.
