Bobsag3,that X-1 that was "already on it's way" on May/29 should at least be in the US by now or "in transit" can you confirm it's status?
Just relax, i know it's hard to have patience on this but Bobsag3 will upload pictures and probably video as soon as he gets it. No amount of tracking is going to change that, he has said it is on it's way so lets just relax.

RELAX? who are you to tell me that?

As I thought,yet another troll

I'd really like to know when the units are shipped to MS. I've got power supplies to buy but I refuse to sink more money into this until there's some concrete evidence that I'm not wasting my BTC again by throwing it in limbo for months on end.

RELAX? who are you to tell me that? I've been nothing but relaxed since last Dec.Show me a post that I was bitching or complaining! I asked a simple question that anyone from Minersource could answer and I don't care about your "quess" on the X-3 either what good is that? We all know there are 3 teams working on it whats the point of repeating that?

They said progess was made, great, but it would be nice to what that was. It would also be nice to know when they expect to test the new backplane design.

and what about x3?just new update about x3 can be on its way and nothing else :/
X3 backpane is still being worked on by 3 different groups, my guess x3 is still atleast a month out.

Does BA still post those weekly production updates, or are they in dark mode right now?

I saw David from BA support post some responses, but haven't seen an official engineering update lately.

The compensation plan at this point is really irrelevant because they are not refunding yet, if they do at all. They demonstrated this by stopping the conversation and making it pretty clear that they are doing you a favor if they decide to refund you. You have no other option except to take your miner or go to the back of the line for refunds, assuming they still allow you to. Complainers will get nothing - well that is if they can tie your complaining to your order. It's like the school bully.

I get it when they talk about death threats and such. That goes way too far. But retaliating against someone for complaining is just childish. The way they talked about being so absolutely certain of the February ship date makes June a valid complaint. They knew they would be ready before February, but they made the ship date then so just in case they had any issues they would still be able to make the date. They built the confidence themselves and they shouldn't be surprised when people get upset when they let them down.

Edit: Minersource is doing the right thing though. I feel bad for them.

3)If yes to either 1 or 2, did BA finally announce a shipping date or estimated ship date?

3. Shipping is scheduled this week.

4)Did the proposed compensation plan change at all from the 50% more hash for Batch 1?  Does everyone still have to be required to purchase PSU's for the compensation miners?

4. It is planned to be further discussed shortly.

How can this be possible?you want to ship units and than discuss about compensation..omg!!If we accept to receive it separately,I am sure that we will never see compensate units!!!and of course we will get 5TH extra units but we would need to pay another 5 extra PSU's and it will be shipped one week after the regular units(NEXT WEEK)

Reading those past BA promises really irks me, they put their reputation on the line with those comments and I feel gullible because I believed them.

If the surprise is "This is a con job, thanks for your money suckas", then the BTC world is really pretty filthy.  I guess this kind of crap will strengthen the protocol and enforce multisig on everything cos it shows you can't trust anyone.

BA along with the joke that is/was activemining, and the current AM share price, not looking too sharp at this point.

Went away for a few days, so just finally checking in today, and trying to get caught up to speed.

Can anyone chime in with the answers to these questions:

1)Did BA ever get those pesky X-1 cases?

2)Was the X-3 backplane issue resolved?

3)If yes to either 1 or 2, did BA finally announce a shipping date or estimated ship date?

4)Did the proposed compensation plan change at all from the 50% more hash for Batch 1?  Does everyone still have to be required to purchase PSU's for the compensation miners?

5)Anyone have any clue what the "special surprise gift" that was mentioned before is?

Much appreciated,

Chuck

1. Yes.
2. It is still being worked on, but progress is being made.
3. Shipping is scheduled this week.
4. It is planned to be further discussed shortly.
5. The surprise has not yet been released.

You're hilarious.  They don't need to run a machine on the live network to test it.  There's a nifty thing called "test net in a box" for things just like this.

Take you'r "test net in a box" in case u don't remember this http://ecointalk.net/gallery/image/71-20131123-215037/

NB. Nobody said "They shouldn't have done tests". We said we'r hopeing they'r hashing something now, in a way or another ( and in better way distributing those light coins, in worst only heating running out of the main network (NOSENSE) )

Yup. They are obviously cash/bitcoin poor since they can't afford to refund customers. I'd rather they were hashing so they could do the refunds in queue sooner than later. It is questionable that once they start shipping they will see an onslaught of new orders to pay for the refunds.

So if the units ship in the upcoming days, will we also finally get our refunds?

So you'd be okay if they hash with your hardware increasing the difficulty that you're going to be working against to earn money to pay off other people?  Don't get me wrong, It'd be great if refunds were being processed but that should not be done on the backs, and expense of those who have chosen not to refund.

If 100 people ordered an X3 and 25 of them refunded, presumably they still made 100 X3s. That's what they are telling people who asked for refunds anyway. I'd rather they hash on those so they can afford to refund than try to sell them, since at this point I'm not sure who would buy. I would also hope that they are doing some sort of burn-in test with some of these to prove their stability prior to shipment. It is a weak point, I admit. For having waited through all of this I wish you the best for getting your units shipped to you first.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
At this point it should be fairly obvious that nobody gets their miner until the difficulty level of bitcoin makes them worthless. Another company running their own mining farm?

And, thanks to their self-moderated thread, my 300+ posts proving that the Romanian, et al. behind BA is nothing but a sham, have all been deleted.
