Just to let everyone know. We are not ignoring compensation. We have promised things and we will fulfill our promises. However we want to do it properly. For that reason we first want to get shipping running and get back to business as usual. However we will do the right thing.

Glad to hear!

I agree, as I'm sure at least some others here do, that your only priority at the moment should be getting units shipping. I look forward to an update shortly thereafter!

Sounds good David.

Another thing not entirely appropriate for this forum but:
I have an outstanding request which remains unanswsered for over a month now.
It is about transferring my order to Minersource, in order to host my machine there, as you guys don't have any hosting space left.

Could you please check? Thanks!

Woohoo! Finally received my refund from minersource. THANK YOU!!!

What did you originally pay in?  What was given?  Was it the same number of btc as you paid or was it adjusted to current prices?

i originally paid 2.5285 btc and i received 2.5283 btc today for my refund, which i believe is the amount i paid minus transaction fees. It is all i wanted.

Any early X-1 orders getting marked as shipped in BA's system?

im #12x and paid via paypal the second i got the order set.. So im kinda hoping that mine is in the front of the queue by now..

Not I.

"The first Prospero X1 miner was sent to the first customer." - I guess this means only order #1 has been sent (They said customer not customers)

They said a couple of days ago they could send out without cases but now we have to wait for the cases and the causeless X-1's aren't being sent straight away?

Also to ask.. (if anyone knows). I presume the power supplies are 110V/230V 50/60Hz input. not just 110V. As they are shipping to places all over the world they will be multi voltage and BA are not just making them 110V input for the USA Market only.

You mean you want more pre-order money without shipping anything?

BA better get a move on, it's getting real now.

ASICMINER has said it will order the equivalent of 30,000 TH/s of wafers each month. Furthermore, the Avalon fourth-generation 28nm chip is set to tapeout soon and AntMiner’s S3 chips are projected to be out this July.

Beijing-Shenzhen company HashRatio actually has the first successful implementation of ASICMINER’s third-generation ‘Friedcat’ (烤猫) 40nm chip in a 768 GH/s unit and are ready to produce them in volume right away, without the need to take pre-orders.

If this is accurate and ASICMINER alone is going to be producing 30 PH of new hashing machines a month it's past time to get out of the mining game.  They would nearly double the current hashrate in two months.  No matter how many machines are withdrawn from hashing difficulty is going to go supernova.

Now if only the exchange rate of BTC went supernova as well  Cheesy.

This news is heartening. I have 2 X-1 batch one units on order from Minersource. I also ordered a PSU for the 'compensation' unit.

Anyone hear anything about batch 2 X-1 units? I have 4 of those on order with minersource.

Looks promising. Here's hoping next week I will at long last have a hashing x-1.

Well - hopefully 2 as 2:1 compensation still seems more than in order at this point :-)

Thank you for the update.

Did you notice the reject rate? Its 7.89473%

Not too surprising for f2pool which ramps up vardiff pretty quickly. It had not been running very long when the picture was taken.

What's with the glow around the power cable? Or is that just my bad laptop screen acting up? I'd like to get an idea of scale. Are the final dimensions posted?

Are they / will they be notifying people as they ship?

Thanks, Bobsag3

I admit they are pretty. Although, I seem to remember their product page saying they would include standoffs for stacking?  Now checking the page, that is gone and these unit do not seem to be able to be stackable?  Does anyone else remember this claim?  How the heck are we supposed to organize 10 to 20+ of these things if they don't stack?

i liked the 3D-printed cases better  Shocked

Thats good that some progress is coming.

Just to make it clear.  We customers don't care about LCD as long as the unit hashes.  Most of these units are going to sit in some dungeon, someone's basement, or in some datacenter, where nobody will be looking at them.   It doesn't need any of these gimmicks.

In other news, alpha-t decides to work on the important features and decides to drop LCD, wireless, and other non-essential features.  I think they are making the right decision.
