yes they are two different thing. blochain is the technology where we can use to have unhackable copy of files while cryptocurrency is the currency we are using in dealing with most blockchain projects.

Whose that expert you are talking into? I would say that those dudes are totally newbie when it comes to crypto yet blockchain and crypto itself is always been tied up.Come to think that each coin do have corresponding blockchain being used depending on which platform and we can see several of it. So theres no need to choose up.
Blockchain is just nothing without some product called Cryptocurrency, many people learn about blockchain for create their ow blockchain and using this technology to develop and distribute they're product

Blockchain is and should be distributed ledger. If it is centralized, than it is not a blockchain but some classic database? And there is only one way how to secure that this blockchain will be decentralized and fully working - you have to motivate others with cryptocurrencies. So blockchain cant work without cryptocurrencies. 
I do not think that this is a different topic, because cryptocurrencies should already have a blockchain in themselves, which will look and write down where this coin went and where it was, so I think that this is generally the same.

Yes. Blockchain Technology can exist without Cryptocurrency. Though it may be better if Cryptocurrency will be used also along with Blockchain Technology.Blockchain Technology has many uses which can promote transparency and high-level of efficiency. This can be done which do not have anything to do with Cryptocurrency. One good example of using Blockchain Technology is through traffic and logistics.
The interest in Blockchain technology has been increasing since the idea was coined in 2008. The reason for the interest in Blockchain is it's central that provide security,
anonymity and data integrity without any third party organization in control of transactions.
And I think blockchain and cryptocurrency can't be separated, because it is present in 1 the same assumption about this technology.
they can exist separated, but what I really think will happen is that the price of cryptos are going to normalize, right now there is a lot of speculation, because although the value of things is subjective, many do not believe that for example, bitcoin is worth 17k, which happened in December, so little by little everything is normalizing and cryptos can survive.
I think they're both connected.The other has no meaning without.Someone has to develop technology.The other one to buy that technology.Everything works in this method.The connection of the two makes them more powerful.
I think that blockchain is the technology that we need at the moment. It can really change the world and lead to a technical revolution. For me, this is the technology that can make my life safer.

With my knowledge, blockchain is much more general and larger than cryptocurrency, blockchain technology at this time is being applied to cryptocurrency, and in the future, it will be applied in all other industries.
This scenario is very likely going to happen. Look at giants like IBM or Alibaba- they have together over 180 patents just for blockchain technologies. I would say there will be a "war" between centralized and decentralized solutions and users will push one above the other. As I am on the side of decentralized coins, I wish them good luck, but do not take freedom from us

Yes, Blockchain can exist without crypto because you can use it in any application, just like Ripple, the bank only use their technology but not their coin as a mode of payment in every transaction, therefore it can.We can have nodes of its own, where the computer / machine you contain the blocks and record transaction blockchain.

I am surprised with your answer. Anyway blockchain and cryptocurrency has different in spelling and its function. Cryptocurrency basing on google is a digital currency with encryption technique provided to it and it has a complex characteristics to decrypt the encryption process. And blockchain is a list of record of cryptograph or cryptocurrency transactions. This is the technology that cryptocurrency uses to get transparency in transactions. I do not know why OP has different point of view in this. Maybe one should need more research before posting a thread like this.

Blockchain is a useful and revolutionary technology, will live and grow long. Blockchain can live alone without any token. Cryptocurrency, along with blockchain and must be created, stored and transmitted on a blockchain network. Many cryptos has no real application at all. Over 90% of coins will die soon but I think that some coins will get more adoption
The blockchain needs development. The blockchain has to reach world level. Each person has to be able to use a blockchain in the future.
