Years ago when I was mining regularly and I'd turn to do my taxes I'd go to blockchain.info, find the record of a payout from a pool, and hover over the btc value and get the exact dollar value of the transaction displayed.  Now with blockchain.com that information is no longer given at least as I can find.  In a volatile market I end up guessing the transaction to be worth something within a window of value span.  How can I find this more exactly?  Thanks.

If you want the exact value of the Bitcoin in USD at the time of the transaction then I suggest you use electrum. You can restore the wallet you created on blockchain.com via the seed phrase to Electrum if it's not those very early versions of Blockchain wallet

Alternatively you can use blockchair.com block explorer. It also displaces the exact value of Bitcoin in USD transacted at that time

Thanks logfiles.  Using blockchair.com and it's giving me the  information I need.  One thing though, if the pool charges a percentage for a payout below a certain level, is that included in the Fees listing on blockchair.com?  Thanks again.

Hello,
During 2012 I worked some time with Bitcoin and those days when Bitcoin is such mediatizated i realised that in my old accounts that I used in 2012 there are still some "rests". But I have no longer access to the email I used in that time for registrating (was compromised in 2014 btc-e hack).

I have about xxx.xxx $ worth of bitcoins in Blockchain.com wallets. But the problem is I dont saved the wallet identifier but I know the password.

Considering the high value problem can someone help me providing a direct contact to Blockchain for solving this issue? I just Pm'ed PIUK (the original starter of this topic) but his last activity was in 2015. Anyone can help me with an advice or tip to contact Blockchain.com at a higher level so that my problem to be listened profesionally?

Basically the help needed is just to send them the bitcoin addressed and to provide me the wallet identifier. I opened a ticket in their system but no reponse until now. In order to help them in identifying me I made some research in the last days which concluded to find even my ip address that was used to be used at the time when I created the wallet/login into the wallet, despite 9 years passed.

I will appreciate any other tip,Thank you.

So I used to view transactions in blockchain.info / .com, but lately they've been showing incomplete or incorrect information. I've never used their wallet so I can't comment on that directly. But for any other purpose than as a backup explorer, what else is that site used for? Some data metrics and stuff maybe?

It's just no longer on the summary. Scroll down to the last field on the details and you will see it (Value when transacted):

Hi guys and girls. With new design of website i can't see the price of bitcoin at the time that transactions was sent, i can only see the actual price, i don't know if the problem is my browser or some settings, or this is caused because of new design?
Everything was fine on my browser and I tried now to open my blockchain wallet the price that I've sent was there on the right side.
Is that what you mean in your post?

I think just try to refresh the link of your browser. Ctrl+F5 or directly on the site you will find refresh at the top.

I reffer to this, not only for this tx but this is only and example, at that time the price of 0.034+ BTC not was 252 usd
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/0484407c5ed60ba255e0fb1729d17355665d4a311aefd44160201905450270df

When the website had the old design if i click on the amount send i could see the value of bitcoin at the moment sent and also the value of bitcoin at the time i access the page

Now only show the value of bitcoin at the time when access transactions.

I am using their Android app and it's closing with an error after importing a paper wallet. Any other users have the same issue?

I've just installed the wallet and It's working fine for me (that includes paper wallets encrypted with BIP38).

To make sure that there is nothing wrong with your private key, try to install Electrum or Mycelium and sweep the funds.

What error you are getting before it's closing?

Have you tried to check the blockchain app if you are using the latest version?
Try to go in settings>apps>blockchain>then look for clear data then restart the phone and test again.

If it doesn't work maybe you need to update your Android to the latest version.
What version of your phone OS?

I noticed their "military-grade security" exchange "The Pit" allowed users to reveal their 2fa backup codes without reauthenticating the users 2fa. (It only required the user's password to display the 2fa backup codes)

I got stiffed on a bug bounty that they claimed wasn't a bug, but fixed within 24 hours anyways.  Roll Eyes

You're not the only one having that problem apparently, someone reported it and they said they're working on it.

I'm not getting authorization request e-mails when I try to log on to my blockchain.com account.  Tried multiple times from a couple of different computers.  I got no login advisories via e-mail to let me know that someone else logged on or something.  I use gmail in this case, and I tested that I get other mail to that account.

A friend also has the same result on their account.  They use Yahoo!.

Anyone else having similar problems?

How to contact their support? They are not answering tickets. I'd even pay contact their support, but it's just not possible.

How long does it take them to answer ticket from your experience?

I can't say that they're fast when it comes to the support responsiveness, I've seen people receiving answers after weeks and this thread is definitely no help as it has been abandoned for some time now. I wouldn't suggest spamming them, you could get blacklisted probably so you will have to just sit and wait.

I guess I'll have to wait then. Too bad, they were more active earlier on this forum.

If somebody knows someone from their support/stuff, and can help assign someone to my ticket, please PM me, I'll pay you a small bounty. I'm not asking for a lot here Sad although I understand it's a free service.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
What do you mean?
Blockchain doesn't require government IDs and especially to your real documents or info. If you register on the blockchain that requires any sensitive documents you're a victim of a fake blockchain website.

You must verify the correct URL before you register and they only need is your email and password when signing up.

Blockchain is not a scam wallet it depends on you how you protect your wallet. However, it is still not recommended to use an online wallet.
He's talking about the stellar giveaway for asking KYC which is absurd such activity though it's not mandatory, if you don't want to give such personal info then don't do it.

But if blockchain required you to give such info when you register then it's probably a different site which is phishing ones.
