For me, no! Specially if the campaign you joined is legit and will pay you right. It was not a waste of time if the end of it is a huge price, yes there's scam bounties that paid you nothing , but it's up to you if it's affect you. Just be positive and accept what will happen in the end.

maybe for those who fail or get a bounty that scam will interpret it by wasting time. but to me whether it's bounty scam or not it is a job, because we own the bounty. and I think scam is a risk.

I think it does not waste your time. Because one day you will spend very little time to work on bounty campaigns and the salary you receive is higher than the effort you spent. I think if you join bounty even it's a good project or even best ICO they are 50/50 to pay you. Join at your own risk. Don't expect 100% that bounty can really gives good reward because most of them are not true it create bounty to get money from the investor by invesying to ICO.
