We know that merit really stop our hope to up our rank. But, this is also a good regulation to stop the multi accounts. Of course, each regulation will involve positive and negative sides. So far, I only can follow it and stay positive and focus on doing my task to fulfill the bounty requirements.
It will not be tiring when you really relieved to accept it, even it is not easy.

What's interesting to me is you joined this forum exactly 2 days before I did, yet when they issued merits they only gave you 10? Are you sure about that, guy? You were supposed to get 100, unless you became Legendary after the system went into effect, in which case you would only get 50, I think.
I am not talking about the "default" merit points. I have about 1,000 default merit points, which they give to all the legendary members. I am talking about the "earned" merit points. I have only 10 earned merit points, despite making so many posts here regularly.
You obviously posted the majority of your posts before the merit system was put in place. So I don't know why you would use that as a metric for your merits beyond 1000. You should have been given 100 sMerits, that's Sendable Merits. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think for every 2 merits you receive you are also awarded 1 new sMerit. It's a very "survival of the fittest" system, and as I have only 7 more than you, its not really my place to talk about the quality of your posts.
And again, sheesh, its not about quantity. Its about quality. Why does nobody seem to understand that? The vast majority of this posts in this thread are shitposts written by hopeless noobs hoping to draw merits or up their Activity. Then you have a portion of posts from users who genuinely sympathize with the OP. Then there's me, and then you. Most of the people posting here aren't actually saying a damn thing.
At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol
It was actually depending on your manager who is handling the ico campaign, you can always look for a different campaign and leave immediately before all of your efforts just go to waste.
Choose wisely on bounty campaign you are joining and never lose hope brother just continue joining bounty campaign, being bounty hunter you need more patient being not paid in one campaign is not the end it is normal that's why you need to read first on what campaign you are joining. Earning merit now is too hard but if your post was too helpful and it helps people you can earn it not only because your sentence was proper but because it is quality.
I also think it is very tiring, but the world has rarely been easy and easy to get revenue. You need to relax and participate properly.
You are right, and lot of the campaign bounties in the total show poor results - either the project closes, or the team simply does not pay participants and penny. I have such about 30% of all, unfortunately! And while spending time on bad campaigns very often then it turns out that you miss the really worthwhile projects that collect hard cap and generously reward bounty hunters.
And the answer of your problem is choose the great campaign manager, i have a example like Sylon bounty thread, i will prefer join them even i join for the last week.

Don't stress yourself and waste time on bounties and airdrops.Select and do one or two qulaitiy bounties at a time.If any bounty stretches for a extended period of time accepts unlimited applicants,stay away cos you will receive peanuts

Nothing comes easy my friend. Those who seem the potential within Bitcoin and the blockchain project, invested early on, knowing it could be successful, based on the premise alone, of what the project represented. The late bloomer is no different from the prospectors who went west for gold, during the rush a long time ago.Though some did find fortune upon their late arrival upon the scene, many left more broken then when they came, with their hopes and dreams crushed.
There is still room for growth, but it needs some time to progress. The chances of striking oil are rare, as it is trying to become rich off of cryptocurrencies from doing small services tasks for incentives (bounties).

I think it is really a punishment for late bloomers. The faith of your rank is already on Theymos hand. Since the day merit is being implemented I already know that quality posting is now useless because merit distribution is not fair.
In bounty campaign, market system is tiring system . But we put good post in this. those who will like it,can give merit and we can get promotion. We are getting profit according to our work.
I would not say that working in a bounty is easy, you need to spend enough time to choose a successful company and not always you are right.
You're absolutely right. I don't like bounties much. But sometimes I'm in. Now I participate in NagriCoin bounty. I think that you should choose a bounty program to join the same way as you're chosing a project to invest in. Maybe you're not investing money buy you invest your time. And if you are an influencer, you put you reputation under risk. That's why I choose consciously in which bounty to participate.
it is not true in all cases there are still good bounty campaigns which pay good it is on our side that which campaign we choose there are a lot of them which are shit and yes we have to work hard to earn it

I've never made a single penny from a signature campaign, a bounty or an airdrop. Not one. I know I have a current sig and its shitty and that's probably why I've only got 24 clicks in 2 months from it. But the point is, I joined as a member not to figure out how to make a valuable account but because I was genuinely interested in cryptocurrency. It has since allowed me to make a living completely, despite never making a single cent from bitcointalk.
When us old farts look at you newbs just constantly spamming the forum hoping to gain activity and merit, its just embarrassing and sad and you're wasting everybody's time, including your own.
