there are a handfull of bountys that would be really worth your time.
you can find good ones from peoples signature. if you see alot of the same sig then the bounty might be good.
or others from young but promising companys (those with a product on market)
but yes, the market as a whole is currently not very profitable.
but things will change, you just have to be at the right side of the market at the right time.

My experience so far with bounty this year have been bad and it is not as profitable as it used to be. Mainly bounty hunters don't really get good projects that will pay and those that pay just pay a penny which is not worth the time and energy put into the work.
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?
For me, work of gifts so far is no longer the main thing to get money. I mean, I've switched. I will always do the work of this gift even though I am only paid a little.

Its really annoying to promote bounty projects for months and get nothing in return or get almost zero rewards but i believe that a single project is enough to turn my life around for good, not all bounty projects are here to fest on investors hard earned money, the bounty i missed not promoting and regretted is gowithmi which seems to be the only legit project with bounty this year so far,i won't give up and im sure my luck will come

I would advise you to run a couple of bounty projects. Maybe you will be lucky and you will be able to guess a profitable project. But now really this industry is very vulnerable. After the project goes on the stock exchange investors sell a huge number of coins and sharply lower the price.
that is most of the projects that are not good. there are still good projects and have a quality developer. and when you get a project like that, you won't get the problem you face.
bounty is not so good now, some of the bounty hunters also don't do their jobs. most of the bounty hunters now trade crypto, which may be more profitable.

That's how the bounty hunter works by switching to another way to produce the little by little the profits they want. There are some people who live by investing in the crypto world to buy food everyday. Maybe
it happens only to those bounty hunters who already have capital, and for those who don't have capital, they will only be willing to choose another bounty project that can give them money. but under these conditions it is very difficult, we only see small payments and fraud.

Bounty is a hype. It has its growth period, golden age and fall. And we all understand where we are now Smiley
I bet this cycle will barely repeat, it's time to change activity and move on.
it can be said that bounty is not like it used to be. it's just that, I feel that some projects still have bounties that are worth, especially bounties that have a large market and volume. Well, there are still some bounties like that appear. Besides that, even though the pay was not as big as before because of the declining prices, I see that some projects have been quite successful in paying bounty hunters this year. but it might be a good idea to look for other alternatives.

I cannot say for sure that bounty hunters can live on bounty campaigns or not. But what I can say that it is better to take bounty campaigns as alternative jobs. It is because bounty campaigns are going down in numbers over time and there is difficulties to find good projects nowadays.

If I myself do not continue to rely on the bounty program which is now quiet and not yet crowded but I turn to work outside because now the bounty is quiet and really does not pay so I feel tired to continue to follow the campaign program.
That's a good decision, working full time in bounty when it's not profitable in overall is a bad idea, looking a stable job is always the answer as you can still do bounty hunting at the same time, even if you have a job. Well, for me, I really start bounty hunting while I still have my day job, I just quit my day job when I already start making money in trading and bounty hunting at the same time, now bounty hunting is bad but I can still make a bit in trading so it help me with my daily living, what I can suggest, is let's always have an alternative way of earning.

You are not wrong. With the hundreds of crypto projects failing these days, the bounty sector of the industry seems to be on a steady decline making it extremely difficult to profit from bounties. However, this doesn't mean there are no more good bounties, it simply means that there are a lot more failed projects out there leading to a lot more failed bounties out there. My advice for anyone seeking to go into bounty hunting to always make thorough research concerning the said project and its bounty terms before settling to do the bounties.

In my opinion, it is not possible actually to make a living with bounty hunting, because even if you choose the best campaigns you still have to wait several months until the token gets listed and until it reaches the profitable price, this can take a very long time. And for living you need a weekly or monthly stable income.

If you happen to leave your job for bounty hunting I recommend that you go back to your job, bounty hunting can no longer support you, some bounty campaign takes months or even a year before they distribute their coins and you will have to wait for months before you can trade it in the market.

I think we should choose the bounty carefully, there are many bounty in the markets and should be find a good bounty can make profit, this sure depend on the project itself.

But you must agree with the OP that bounty hunting days are long gone! The time and effort you put in finding such a good project is just too much as compared to the end rewards and it's worrisome that we have many shitty bounties still being run and people always sign up hoping it turns out a successful project without doing any research.

Most genuine developers too are not much putting interest in ICO that much as they don’t often release projects as much as they do from the beginning, and most of them now wants to go over to IEO to try their luck which they get bounced back by these great exchanges because they dint usually find their project worthy.

ICO has really been bad for most people, and it does not usually pay as much as it does before. I think that 2018 and 2019 was really the worst for ICO and we are hoping that 2020 will show us a different approach. We still have very good ICO though, at least this year, I have participated in at least ten good ones even if they all didn’t give that much in the amount that was given to one after the end of the campaign, but at least it is better than nothing.

Bounty was never considered as living as bounty earning depend on many factors. Nowadays, the market is in bad phase and many bounties are extending their time to get their targeted amount but still they are not able to meet their targets. You can do it as a part time earnings as nothing is fixed here.

this is not possible. if you have a thought of getting along with bounty in your mind, you immediately get it out of your mind. and focus on a good job.

Bounty hunting could be lucrative for those whose are hardworking and lucky. I believe some persons make a living from bounty hunting and has devoted a lot of energy into it. It would be easier for people who run different campaigns and has been in the system for longer time

Yes, I am in the same situation as you, unlike previous projects that pay me better now. We can continue as before, but the way to choose bounty must be more careful and accurate than before. This is not in vain when we spend some time with it, only a little but effectively is our concern.
