I participated only in bounty campaign of the PlayKey. I earned about 250 tokens. In my opinion, this is not bad for a start.
I think the easiest way to participate in a bounty, is just to have some ethereum in your wallet (not on an exchange).
Now and then you receive some free tokens from airdrops in your ethereum wallet, which you can trade at etherdelta for example.
Tokens I received by only holding ether in my wallet were OMG (worth 14$ now), VIU, Xenon and Datacoin.

i participated in the munchee token ico... until sec stopped munchee inc in the united states......after a few weeks of the bounty campaign and two days after the ico start.....until now the future of munchee is uncertain......maybe they move to another country...maybe they will close munchee forever...no one knows... 
OK my fellow bounty soldiers let's trade bounty stories about the best bounty we ever participated in and how much was the most coin we ever received as bounty reward from a bounty campaign and let's mention our choice of the best bounty manager on bitcointalk.
For me the best bounty I ever participated in are those involving the bounty portal especially monaize and AIgang network( they are still ongoing). The highest bounty I ever received was 15000 peculium token for wearing their avatar as my twitter profile pic and my best bounty manager is Tokenmarket
Did Peculium on an exchange or have a price? Seem worthless as not much activity from the team. One has to choose wisely while dealing with new tokens.
I took part in Gilgam.es bounty, although the bounty hunters got their rewards in ggs tokes, they were worth nothing because the developers didn't get their tokens on reputable exchange, and without any demand the tokes became worthless. I have ~5K ggs lying and they have no value.
I also took part in spectivvr's video contest, and was offered a prize but since their ico would end in january, it is a long wait.
If they had paid be pack then, I would have converted them to btc and had great profits.

I think DeepOnion signature campaign was the best in august. They gave like 300-500 coins per week and they are 20k sato right now, so it's like several thousand dollars per week 
I participated in the bounty campaign of the Micro Money project. It was my lightest bounty campaign. I installed the signature and wrote several messages. This was enough to get the tokens.
The best bounty for me is INS the one that I am campaigning right now because they are generous giving stake every week no need to mention how many stakes but for now INS is the best.

the best bounty I had participated is Revain, ico price $0.04 and now more than $0.5. I participated only 1 week and they gave me 780 Revain.

i would give you United traders ico and bounty campaign this campaign was recommend by my other friend because they have a feeling that this ICO will be good and fair for all sigcamp. the ICO will reward you bitcoin and also their token this is good for me because i do not know how to trade altcoin but i know how to get money from bitcoin
i totally agree with you. i also like the fact that their work with bounty participants is very transparent. you can literally see all the stages of the deadline. first, you can see a number of btc and tokens in the table, then ticks for paid status. and i even noticed that when a manager is checking and sending rewards to a particular person, his cell is colored differently)) they do what they promise. i think the ico will be successful because of their attitude to work.

Popular ICO have lots of participants and thus reward is relatively low per stake. I most profitable bounty I have so far is AdEx, like $1000 for wearing their signature for a few days. It's pure luck.
Ico that many people know and have a solid team and the rules bounty not too difficult. I think monetha (mth).. Sales token briefbut for now the price is very low

Bounty is a gift to you from various campaigns you do for an ICO. yes suppose you do a signature campaign in this forum, then you will get a reward for your work that has been set. when a company starts its ICO (i hope you know what it is) to popularize it, the company starts bounty. they pay other people to use the name of the company in their tweets, posts, retweets, blogs etc. so it's just advertising. but usually you get payments in the tokens of the company, and sometimes they worth nothing))) well, this is just my simple explanation of bounty campaigns. u'd better read the threads about it to know more. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 i think, this might help))

Yeah, I'm too prefer bounty with stakes. Today found IQeon gaming platform bounty (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bountyiqeon-decentralized-gaming-pvp-platform-2525323). Full bounty budget: 130 000 IQN (1 ETH = 700 IQEON)
You receive money or crypto when you do a task. it's called a bounty since everyone here can participate and choose to work for this bounty.
