Yeah, it could be the boxer that wanted to win the most so it's all about the heart by putting all their efforts on this fight and make sure that they did their best 110% to get a win. So if it is Bivol then good, we will have to see another fight a trilogy maybe before the end of the year.
That’s probably what most of us want to see, especially since the first fight was so close. It’s the kind of showdown that could settle all doubts and give a definitive result this time.

If Beterbiev won clearly, then there's no doubt about him the better fighter. Although I'm seeing that this could be very close again and hard to judge who is going to win and so if that is the case then maybe will see another fight. The result should be that there are no controversial or doubt if Beterbiev is the real winner.
The only clear way for Beterbiev to win here is by knocking out Bivol. If it goes to the judges’ decision, the rumors about Bivol being cheated will never go away. Beterbiev has to make the right adjustments and stick to his usual game plan. He had a 100% KO rate before, and this is the time to bring back that monster form. Nothing less will settle the debate.
We are already in February and so we are inching closer to this fight already. We have seen Benavidez vs Morrell already, and Benavidez winning and most likely to face the winner of this fight. But I think the community might still be in 50/50 for this fight, very hard to decide as both are great fighters and just like the first fight, it will really be close.
And again, if it goes to the judges scorecard then it's very hard to see who will they favor unless it's really deciding. But if there are again controversies, as I have side, there might be a trilogy so not sure if Benavidez will have to wait or fight again to keep himself busy. The pulse though of the community is that Beterbiev is going to win again by decision, either unanimous or split, it doesn't matter.

^^  I do agree with that trailer on their first fight, it's like a gladiator type of promotions.

Although I see one fight fans promotion here:

And it's true, this is one of the best card we have not seen in boxing for many years. All of them are high profile fights and could even land it's own main card. But that's what HE Turki wanted to see, set up a great fights for the fans of this sports.

I saw this post from HE Turki himself,

https://www.instagram.com/p/DE5DyMcIsxV/

So the fight is officially called "The Crescendo". I'm still waiting though for the official trailer video of this fight. Remember that the first one was great and I do not think that they can topple it. Then comes the Usyk vs Fury rematch video.

Now let's see what those guys are going to come up with this rematch. Turki really hired the best of the best when it comes to making a trailer video and it seems to be like in a big Hollywood movie.

Artur Beterbiev defeated Dmitry Bivol in their last match by a majority decision. I hope too that Bivol will turn the tables in this rematch. If you follow social media you will find that people are calling this "The Last Crescendo" match.  Smiley

Dmitry Bivol being younger in age, would be enthusiastic for this fight. Bivol was the world's sixth best active boxer as of October last year. Everyone is waiting for this fight on February 22nd.

Beterbiev though proved that age is not a factor in this fight. He is already in his 40's but still has a perfect record and beat the young Bivol.  Although he came from injuries, there could be fans thought that it could affect Beterbiev in this fight as he has to extend the fight and so it makes him inactive while trying to recover from his injuries. But it's not the case as he proved that is still the best light weight boxer in the world.

Even though is streak of winning by KO was stop because he won by decision here, still a good win for him and obviously, the undisputed champion and still unbeatable. That's why we've discussed that Bivol should really make some adjustment in this fight like having a good stamina and a lot of movement so that he won't be a stationary target and getting hit by Beterbiev's power punches.

So even in the rematch, there are still fans of Bivol who wanted to see him get's his revenge. So it's really up to him to make the necessary adjustment. I do not think that Beterbiev can knock him out though. Although Beterbiev has the power, Bivol chin is also very good and it shows in the first fight that it holds even if Beterbiev caught him in some instance solid punches in Bivol's chin without any effect.

Its challenging for Bivol to beat Beterbiev, but its more challenging for Beterbiev to knockout or do the next round of winning because he has finally faced a fighter who has a strong chin and can withstand his punches. He needs to adjust his power and phasing because this time the tide could turn around.
I'm hoping for Bivol to win the fight. A trilogy is always good to watch and can be considered an important part of both boxer's legacy.

There’s a big difference in punching power here. Bivol is probably just being cautious because one mistake could be the end for him, especially with Beterbiev being a KO artist. That hesitation might have cost him points with the judges, who expect more decisive performances.

Hopefully, Bivol makes some serious adjustments this time. It’s the only way he can stay recognized as a top fighter in the division. And let’s not forget, a win for him sets up a trilogy. (bigger fights, bigger money). At the end of the day, that’s what everyone’s after.

He cannot afford to be too cautious this time. its hard to establish your reputation and legacy if you have two successive losses.
He may have to take risks since he is the one who needs the win and is the challenger; he must come to Beterbiev. In a championship fight, the challenger must take the title from the champion; he must be the aggressor and get the approval of the judges. This is a hard task, but I believe Bivol's young legs and Beterbiev is one win away from showing his aging body, and this could be it.

He should really be going all in this fight, it's ok to be cautious, but he needs to show something that will impress the judge. I'm seeing that this fight could go in the distance again. Having said that, he can't just relax in some round and continue to be the aggressor. And took every opportunity to leave a mark, great boxers took the last 10 seconds of every round to be aggressive so that it will have a expression that they are winning it in the judges eye. He had shown it before when he was a huge underdog against Canelo. It's probably Bivol's mindset, he need to shift it to winning the fight otherwise 2 losses will not be good in his reputation and others might questions his legacy.

Or at least there are no close rounds, and it's clear that either Bivol or Beterbiev winning that. Or just like what you describe, Beterbiev by knockout, or Bivol just like in his performance against Canelo, really overwhelm him with volume punching.

And even if Canelo tries to make a comeback, Bivol will simply up his punching and now allow Canelo to have that kind of momentum. So that is what I want to see Bivol in this fight and not to fade during latter rounds as he gave up this fight to Beterbiev.

What are your thoughts on this rematch? Could Bivol avenge his defeat?

It is hard to tell since both boxers have the ability to turn the tide in one punch or a combination of punches.  I also see the first fight as a draw but well it's the referees' decision and we know that they often see something that the fans/crowd can't see.

I think the one who will win this one is the fighter who wanted it the most.  It all depends on who prepares better.  The scouting and conditioning factor is one of the best weapons of a boxer with almost the same caliber.  Whoever corner comes up with the strategy to limit the opponent would be the winner here except of course if a "lucky punch" comes in.

Yes, and I think that Bivol knows the power of Beterbiev, he might have taken some of the best punch of Beterbiev in the first fight and still standing. And obviously, it's the first time that he hadn't knockout an opponent and lasted the full 12 rounds. It's just a matter of adjusted, more footwork for Bivol and avoid those power punches and him dishing his own. Stamina could be another factors as we have been discussing. Although Bivol has super, he should be durable enough to keep the momentum going into the championship rounds as he lost that to Beterbiev. I do agree that we want Bivol to win the fight so that we will see another one and it could be bigger than the first two and winner becoming the best Lightweight champion of this generation.

A nice rematch, the first match was such an enjoyable match. Bivol started well in the first three rounds, he boxed very effectively, we saw Beterbiev in the following rounds, he had his best round in the fourth and after.
The first match was really enjoyable as we really don't know who is going to win. There are even boxing pundits who says that Bivol was robbed, although I do not think that was the  case, it was really close but in the end, Beterbiev went very aggressive and that impressed the judge.

My heart is more on Bivol's side, but my logic is that Beterbiev will win the rematch.

I have similar expectations, however, this expectation is because I speculate that being Russian, Bivol might not make the changes and adjustments that are needed to get the victory against Bivol. This is also similar to the movie Rocky 4 where the big Russian steroids user Ivan Drago can only fight in 1 style. I reckon if had a rematch against Rocky, he will certainly not make any changes and he will continue to fight using his old style.

In any case, I wish this will be 1-1 after rematch and the fans will be given another very good trilogy between very good champions!
Since Beterbiev won the last fight with the majority decision and their fight statistic on the last fight is not far. There might be a chance that this will end to different result and turn to 1:1.
However, predicting the outcome remains difficult because Beterbiev is older than Bivol and is known for his power, whereas Bivol is known for his technical skills.
So, in my opinion, it will not end 1-1. Beterbiev will win again against Bivol, but overall, this is a 50/50 fight that no one can predict who will win.

I disagree because the argument and the speculation for the first fight before this has occurred was it will be very much be a close fight, however, Beterbiev will create the more hurtful punches in the eyes if the judges.

What has occurred during the fight and what were the judges decision? It was very much similar to what was argued and speculated before the fight and this might not change in the rematch if Bivol does not adjust his fighting tactics and float like a butterfly.

I wonder if Bivol can finally break Beterbiev resiliency. I’m expecting more blow by blow match on this rematch but I’m still considering Beterbiev winning since he might prove that the first match is not wrong decision win for him.

Bivol needs to play it safe in this rematch, and maybe a small adjustment to his strategy should be enough, considering how close the first fight was.. many even believe Bivol won that one. He’s fully aware of Beterbiev’s power, and going toe-to-toe would be a big mistake. Let’s not forget, Beterbiev had a 100% KO rate before their first fight, so taking unnecessary risks could spell disaster for Bivol in the rematch.

he needs to be disciplined.

I think it's not about disciplined, he had show it in his previous fight, it's more on the execution of their game plan. They only like executed it in the first half of the fight, after that Bivol was not that effective in the second half. There were rounds like that Bivol is throwing a lot of punches, but suddenly he will be stop in his tracks with just one punch from Beterbiev. So he needs to cover his chin as well and be cautious and aware that Beterbiev can counter him.

And he shouldn't trade with a power puncher like Beterbiev, and in terms of cardio, maybe this is the first time that we have seen Bivol shows weakness. That's why in the championship rounds, he is fading while Beterbiev is still on the offensive and hitting him cleanly. Either way the rematch will not be that easy and it could still be 50-50. But it seems though that fans wants Bivol to win so that we can have a trilogy.

This will be a good rematch, and it is understandable that many people expect it to be a good match. I know that Bivol mentioned that he would be more aggressive now, knowing that he has been able to be in a match with him. Maybe it could be true, and this would be a continuous saga between the two. If Bivol has momentum, he can capitalize on the early advantage, but Beterbiev is resilient. I do think that Bivol can come out on top this time.

FR. This is the most exciting match since both of them is completely on same level. Their match result is more entertaining and suspenseful to watch compared to the hype match of Crawford vs Spence and Usyk vs Fury.
