Nevertheless, he has a second chance, and I do think that this time he will do enough to win and will continue to throw volume punches. I remember there were one round wherein he throws like 10-12 combos and some of them hit Beterbiev and put him on the ropes.
I won't go as far as to say it was a robbery. It was a close fight. Victory could be given to either of them. Both Beterbiev and Bivol deserved to win. Yeah, it seems Bivol was the one who threw more combinations, but it was Beterbiev who put the pressure all throughout the fight. It was Bivol who was more athletic but it was Beterbiev who was more composed. In a way, Beterbiev looked more the boss than Bivol. But, again, the winner could have been either of them.
That's what I meant, it can go either way, but unfortunately, the judges score it to Beterbiev. Bivol started hot in this fight and I think he did enough to win even if he losses the last 3 rounds to Beterbiev.
Odds now favor Beterbiev. But let's see how Bivol will do in the rematch, again his volume in the first 6 rounds as outstanding. Maybe he will just have to sustained it throughout so that he can outscored Beterbiev this time.
