Yeah, maybe it's time that this organization will give the young prospect their due and let them face either the champion, Spence or Crawford. Both Ennis and Ortiz Jr name are popping up as potential opponents for this two and I think both deserves to have a crack and maybe we will see the changing of the guards.

Ugas name though will be good for Ennis and Ortiz Jr. Ugas is though no doubt but if anyone of them beat Ugas for sure their stack will go up and most likely will face one of the champions in the future.

Good thing if that will really happen while waiting for Errol Spence's recovery and also to see who's who between them, although I'm also thinking that the WBC has another plan for this situation because there are also other guys waiting for their shot like Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Boots Ennis, they might have that chance since Yordenis Ugas's name is not anymore clicking in these times. Just saying though.

That's quite messy to think just because Spence was injured, but the governing bodies don't have any choice but to move on because they cannot force a boxer who is currently injured. I'm just hopeful that Spence's leg injury wasn't that serious, so that he can return and materialize the fight between him and Thurman as people are already expecting about it too. The guys down the line may have to wait because Spence's ordeal will cause a delay.

They could make a lot of money if they will fight because it will certainly go to a trilogy fight if it will be a very competitive fight. That's why fans wants to see this fight because we know it's going to be a very exciting fight, but it seemed like their ambition to stay undefeated is more important than the happiness of the fans and the money they'll make.

Well, I understand why they are delaying it, because if a fighter losses a fight, his value will go down, look at Joshua, he is not anymore one of the best fighters in the heavy weight division because he losses twice against a fighter less popular than him.

Record is more important to them than proving and clearing the doubt of anyone who is in doubt of their real boxing skills, obviously, one of them is afraid and cannot risk his record against a potential and formidable opponent that has the same chance of winning against them. If this was the 90s, then we have already seen this fight years ago and they could have been in their trilogy if they had a great fight against each other but these days boxers that are having clean records are afraid to lose and risk it against a fighter of their level.

We can hype and do our job but if they are not interested nothing will happen. Spence and Crawford claimed that they are the best fighter in the world in their division but are afraid to fight each other, maybe they are just trying to make the bad negotiation and excuse on why the fight did not push through. How long do we have to wait? I hope Spence will lose so no more Spence vs Crawford hype.

Can't compare Manny with these two fighters because Manny does not afraid of anyone, he is willing to risk his good record, even fight a younger champion and beat the champ. These two fighters seemed to be talking so loud but had no intention of entertaining the fight by giving them a big fight.

Spence and Crawford choose to fight a different oppent instead of getting into an undisputed fight to know who is the best in their division.

And so if the fight between his Spence and Crawford is not going to be made in the future then I don't see them being one of the best in this division. Old Manny Pacquiao chooses to fight Thurman.

Anyway, I don't see them in the top 10 though of the greatest in the list, only Manny and Floyd in my recent memories should be mentioned.

If he has no comment, then I doubt that we will see this fight. Just sad for the boxing community as a whole because we will be deprived of a unification fight in 147 lbs. At least Floyd and Manny fight eventhough it's like the tail end of both of them. But in this case, they are still in their prime and this fight could be one hell of war between the two and we will see who will be the best of the best.

So yeah, take it boxing fans, there could be a lot of what if, when one of them hang their gloves for good. Could be their biggest mistakes though, specially Errol who seems to be controlled by his promoter, Al Haymon in thinking that they don't need Crawford.

OK thank for this info, for those who are not aware, Derrick James is the trainer of Errol Spence so he has that inside information and the latest about Errol and it's good to hear that he is doing good with just minor injuries.

Seems to be that they are ok with not fighting Crawford, I think they will stick to the believed that they don't need Crawford as they fully cemented their legacies already. But for boxing fans, something is lacking, it's not that they can't fight or don't want to, it's just there are stumbling block to make this mega fight.

Marcos Villegas from fight hub tv just had a recent interview with Derrick James and they are showing Errol doing just fine after the accident, said he just have some bruises, nothing major. They also tackled about the possibility for a Spence - Crawford fight, but Derrick does not show any hints for the fight to happen sooner, instead he gives no comment about it as we might not able to see it. I'm not really sure who's camp is really ducking and who's really pursuing it.
Derrick even said, he doesn't care about the fight lol.

The truth is that I would like to see a scenario where Spence can lose with Thurman to see if he accepts Crawford's challenge, no one gets my mind that Crawford has been preparing to fight against him for several months, and that is something that is for so many the desire that he has to beat him, for me Crawford no longer wants to be under Spence's shadow, these boxers have something very pending, I think Spence wanted to get rid of Crawford with that boxer, for his part after Crawford finished his fight And you want to look for another boxer, apart from Spence, who can that target be? I like this one to happen if possible, if Spence is no longer in place for now they can settle this fight and for sure there are fans and viewers that will buy this one, we all know the history behind, Thurman was beaten by Pacquiao while Ugas is the one who strips out Pacquiao's belts it a good hype if they will manage to arrange and negotiate while waiting for Spence recovery.

A good timing since the sports is now gaining back after the pandemic, offering a good quality of selected fights will attract viewers' attentions.

Jaron Ennis has already a scheduled opponent already. And I thought that it will be Stanionis, however is it Karen Chukhadzhian (not familiar with him). So it's like a cluster f**k as far as 147 lbs goes. Lots of champions and then their promotions on their side that it's hard to make any fights that we want and what the fighter want. WBA just two champions in Spence and Stanionis and I think they should be ordered to unify it themselves to have one champion because it is really confusing. I think Ugas name can be throw in the mix if fighters like Ennis wanted to have that respect or at least a fight that will make him the next candidate for any belt in any division.

Well, if Spence is out for some months in order to heal his injury, the WBC will most likely order a fight for the WBC interim belt. Ranked number 2 after Thurman is Vergil Ortiz Jr. But Vergil Ortiz is already keen on taking Eimantas Stanionis for the WBA regular after GBP was able to beat PBC in the bidding. Ranked 3 is Jarron Ennis, in the past, this kid already requested the IBF to issue his mandatory status on Spence which means this may not happen too. Ranked 4 is Yordenis Ugas, although I like to see Ugas take at least 1 tune-up fight, he might accept right away if given the chance since Thurman is a big name that guarantees big money and is very beatable nowadays.

Hopefully that's not the case because it will be a disappoint again to know that even this fight is not happening next year, I'd like to be positive and think that this fight will be delayed because of that accident. Although, I know that it's really possible because we don't know Spence's situation regarding his legs as his camp is not disclosing any information about it.

In this incident, I also do hope that Errol Spence had a lesson and should start to consider hiring his own driver rather than him behind the wheel not knowing what could happen along the way as it's already proven that he's a magnet when it comes to situations like that.

I don't think he will change his trash talker though. If this fight is going to be made, Thurman will be on the offensive here and maybe he will start something just to get into Spence never.

But we will have to wait, as reported Spence had a injury but not that serious, just a rest this holiday might be enough for him to recover and have this fight for early next year.

It's not about the preparation as they will be given enough time to prepare for this fight. If this would happen next year, then it's still okay as long as it will not let us wait too long, 1st quarter is good enough, I'm sure that's enough time for Spence to recover as well.

Good to see you here mate. It seems like this fight may not happen at all after Errol Spence had another car accident. He mentioned that his leg is injured although I cannot find any more news about the severity of his injury. 

You know the WBC, they are up for the money and they do not want to mess with big promoters as well which means Vergil Ortiz is probably out of the picture for Thurman. The WBC might also consider a garbage interim belt while Spence is still healing. 

I also think that way, since there's an accident that happened the fight may be delayed to secure Spence condition, it's a mandatory though so it will just adjust the time which will favor both fighters, they will have more time for conditioning and preparing for the fight. We just need to wait for the final announcement and wait if what's the final date for this upcoming fight.
