Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks
This is finally over, Fury proved to the world that he is the better fighter between him and Wilder.

He got Knockdown but just like the first fight he was able to get up and in the end, he was able to KO Wilder with a solid punch.
I just don't like Wilder after the fight as he doesn't show respect when Fury tries to shake hands, so he is really a sore loser now, and no doubt about that.

What's next for Wilder then?
I didn't have the chance to watch the full fight but base on the highlights that I've seen online, it looks like both of them got knocked down. Its just that Fury got a higher endurance and he has more stamina compare to Wilder who is just swinging his hand and not defending at all because of fatigue in the last rounds of the match.

Losing one match to a fighter would be devastating depending to the fighter but losing twice to the same fighter? Wilder has his pride still until the last parts of the fight that he didn't shake hands with Fury. What an unsportsmanlike behavior coming from him.

What's next for him? Maybe he will start low again, fight other fighters, get a ring again and fight other fighters.

The fight was starting at 6 AM here where i live and i really tried to stay awake with coffee and stuff but i did not make it lul and fell asleep. Now after i have woken up i read that this was one of the best heavyweight fights of all times and now i am very disappointed that i could not experience this fight live, at least on tv. From all what i have read in articles and also in this thread it seems that Wilder really showed a good performance today and Tyson Fury was just a little bit better. Wilder already showed that he is a real fighter in their second fight where he did not want to stop and was pretty angry at his corner for throwing the towel.

It's afternoon here when the fight happens, and Lucky to have watched it live on Facebook feed, it's the best fight I've seen this year the momentum swing back and forth until the fifth round, Wilder is always dangerous even if he is hurt but he runs out of gas and some of his punches were telepathic, Fury can read his body language, and when fatigue sets in for Wilder in that's when Fury landed those vicious punches.
I don't think there'll be a fourth fight Fury can unite all crowns if he decides to fight Usyk.

It was the most exciting bout I have seen this year the momentum keep shifting I thought Wilder had Fury out, that were Wilder's best punches other boxers will not get out of that knockdowns, Fury proves himself to be different from the fighters Wilder faced in the past, Wilder was groggy and he doesn't know where he is.
Wilder cannot complain anymore the better guy wins the match, but total respect for Wilder for giving us his best, he still can get up but now he must recuperate from those beatings.

Absolutely agree with your opinion. Wilder deserves respect. Though according to the statistics of the fight he dealt less blows than Irishman, but his two knockdowns of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will be memorable for a long time. I enjoyed watching this fight and I plan to re-watch it again as this fight is truly considered the best fight of the year.

POLL ENDED: total votes 86

Fury: 69
Wilder: 16
Draw: 1

The fight was a lot closer than many of us thought it would be. In some ways it was similar to the first fight because Wilder certainly gave problems to Fury early on but in the end Fury just wore Wilder down and knocked him out. Even though he was beaten I think Wilder showed in the ring why he was a 40 fight unbeaten world heavyweight champion, what a fight. Sadly he dismissed Fury at the end and did not exchange pleasant words when Fury went to meet him and he came across as a bitter and sore loser in more than one way.

Unlike the AJ and Usyk fight where both boxers showed respect for each other, this Fury vs Wilder fight had a lot of bad blood between, that's why you notice that it was a really very aggressive fight between the two, and also the refusal of wilder to congratulate Fury by shaking hands after the fight. The Gypsy king continues with his impressive record after beating Wilder in his best, he now has 31 wins out of 32 fights, 21 knockouts and 1 draw. The KO win at the 11th round is convincing enough for wilder not to have an excuse or even want a rematch again (if it were possible).

You are right about the bloodbath but the fight is over I'm disappointed with Wilder he refused to give back respect to Fury after giving him respect by going to his corner, Tyson is right when he says he is a sore loser and an idiot.

"I'm a sportsman. I went over to him to show some love and respect and he didn't want to give it back," Tyson Fury reveals the exchange of words after knocking out Deontay Wilder in the 11th round in Las Vegas

I don't want to disrespect Wilder's legacy but all of his opponents shows respect to him when he knocks them all down but he cannot return the favor, he is still the brown bomber his boxing days are not yet over, but it will be a hard climb, hard to accept that kind of defeat.

That was a great fight. Exactly what you want from a boxing match. It was like a thriller in some rounds as both fighters looked like they weren't going to make it and you didn't know what was going to happen next. People need to give Wilder his props as a boxer regardless of the shitty excuses he comes out with because like Fury said I'm the best boxer on the planet but Wilder is the second best. There was a couple of times where Fury shook him and he was shaky on his legs lucky to remain vertical but Wilder was still throwing those bombs and a couple of them nearly took Fury out. Both fighters were saved by the bell a couple of times as well. Fight could have gone either way but Fury got the job done in the end. AJ wouldn't win a fight against either of them, though I'd still like to see it.

It's going to be interesting to see if Wilder just accepts defeat or comes out with more excuses. I'd actually like to see another fight between them at some point. I think Fury should go off and fight AJ, Usuk, Whyte, maybe Chisora again and then Wilder again. There's not really anyone that will challenge him like Wilder would.

This was an incredibly epic battle we witnessed.

That was one rubbish fight!

Neither player could manage more than a simple ONE-TWO punch with Wilder just living up to his name swinging wildly with full arm's length swings that were never going to connect and were so badly telegraphed that it was obvious he was going to "stumble" at some point and the game would be over.

Fury likewise never really went in for the knockout choosing to stand back and let Wilder recover enough to keep going only for the players to then give each-other long hugs (which looked more like they were on a date rather than a fight!)  Wilder was exhausted from about the third round, but when he got Fury on the mat early just let him get up and then did nothing more.

Both players need to do more than just a right-left one-two swing - they have no technique, no style and certainly no class.

You're a moron and don't know what you're talking about. Do you think fighters have infinite gas tanks or a reserve tank somewhere that they can magically get extra gas and power from for a Ko? Both were clearly exhausted at certain points and the 'hugging' they do is tactical. It gives them a breather and if you're leaning on someone the other fighter has to use a lot of energy just to keep both of them up. Sure, fans don't want to see it but it's easy to criticise world class fighters sat in your arm-chair at home when you're not the one getting repeatedly punched in the face.

I liked the fight. But frankly, I did not saw anything new. Same Fury vs Wilder 2 scenario. Cant wait to hear new excuses. Fury complete read Wilders every move.

Last 30 days we had 2 excellent fights. Joshua vs Usyk and Wilder vs Fury. I just hope that I dont have to wait for another year to see these super heavyweight fight again.

I thought the Anthony - Joshua fight was the most entertaining fight in a while but the Fury - Wilder fight made me, like many others, change my mind. That fight was just crazy. I watched it without taking my eyes off the monitor. Both fighters showed really good boxing. Congratulations to those who bet on Tyson Fury. Those who haven't watched this fight, I advise them to do so.

Yes, this is no doubt the best fight i have seen in last few months. I always had the feeling that Tyson Fury should win and as expected the number one boxer remains at No #1 and undefeated. This was a superb performance by the champion and i would like to re-watch the highlights many time.

I thought Wilder is going to win via knockout after knocking down Fury twice in round four, the countdown is very slow, it's questionable, that enable Fury to recuperate, nevertheless, it's a great win for Fury he proves himself that he can take Wilder's punches, after round 5 it's all Fury's round, Wilder is so tired that he cannot keep up, his punches are not hurting Fury anymore, it's better to end this way if it is a stoppage, Wilder will have another reason for complaining.

Fury has a good recuperation power, just shown in the first and second fight.

So no doubt that he can get up again and then recover from that knock down. Wilder though is too tired and let Fury score in the judges score card. Wilder should stop now, Fury already proved that he is the best heavyweight already, it's 2-1 or maybe 3-0 for majority of the boxing fans. Wilder can talk another excuses again, but it's over now.

Well finally Fury is the greatest heavyweight of this generation after knocking out Wilder in the 11th round, Wilder is very fatigue and  Fury keeps pouring the punch now he cannot deny that Fury is the better fighter, this is a very hard fight to watch the referee stops the fight even if Wilder is going down the ring.

the Gypsy king is really the king of boxing

Wilder is an arrogant loud mouth. He will still not accept Fury as a better fighter than him. I will not be surprised if he comes up with excuses again. I like how the fight ended in Fury's favour. I supported him and I can technically say I also won that fight.  Grin. The only sad one for me was that Efe Ajagba got defeated by Frank Sanchez by unanimous decision from the judges and that made the first defeat for the Nigerian.

So there you go. That was one epic battle that would surely go down in the history books of boxing. Fury is the greatest heavyweight. He is now ruling the division.

Wilder seemed to came out a freshened up fighter, a renewed boxer. It was just unfortunate that he wasn't able to sustain with that. It seemed to me that he was still the old boxer inside him. He was hurt by Tyson early on but he was strong and a fighter enough not just to get up and recover but to also hurt and even knock Fury down, not just once but twice.

However, Fury was really the better boxer. He got the stamina. He got the strength. He's simply the best.

No one can disagree, however, I speculated that Deontay Wilder’s eraser would correct all mistakes in the fight and the mistakes on their other fights hehehe. Everything for Wilder was in the 4th round. In any case, congratulations to Tyson Fury and Fury bettors. You deserve it.

This was an incredibly epic battle we witnessed. Wilder came out stronger and more motivated than the previous fights. He made the right adjustments to be more competitive and it seemed like he might get a knockout after dropping Fury twice. I believe it was the size and weight difference that was Fury's key to victory. All that holding and leaning on Wilder drained his energy and took away his punching power. I was impressed with the amount of damage Wilder was able to absorb and I think he is still good enough to beat the next best fighters in the division.
