It's probably because it's an exhibition match, and we're still like a month and a half away from the fight itself. Pacquiao as well might not be naturally pushing for publicity with it, I don't think he needs it nor is it his main profession in the first place. The Youtuber himself also seems to only be popular on certain circles after all.

anyway, Manny Pacquiao is having an exhibition match against DK Yoo in a boxing match on December 10. I am not that interested in who he is fighting but I'd still watch the fight because I want to see Pacquiao in the ring again. besides, Pacquiao said that he'd give us a "real fight"(he said in one of the articles I've read) which I hope he would actually do.
I do hope it's going to be a real fight, not just on Pacquiao's side but also on the other side. Took a peek at his YT channel and I saw how he has a few fights and showcases his skill. Also for those curious, there were a few uploads of the official announcement and press conference of their fight on his YT channel.

I did tried checking DK Yoo match with Scott, he actually has the skills and he also claimed to have martial art experience. Although he put his hands down while fighting Scott, he did a lot of head movement and can indeed box.

I think he is also following the path of the Logan brothers in Asia which he should be fighting the Logans instead if he wants more promotion. The only issue with this is the money since Logans its what they are after.

That's right, this is only an exhibition match, and looks like they are doing it to collect founds to help people, so, that's something nice, but i don't think they will really fight serious.

I'm not even sure if exhibition matches get listed in sport books since they are as the nay say, just an exhibition. But if they get listed they i'm sure Pacquiao would be the easy money bet, let's be patient for the fight because before that we will have the world cup.  Tongue

while I love seeing Manny Pacquiao once again go up the ring and fight , But this lessen my interest seeing this as Exhibition game.

as we can see about what had happened to the recent exhibition games that gathers nothing but criticism and attacks.

Hoping that this will not damage the good reputation of this Legendary boxer from the philippines and will end better as the  proceed will be for the benefits of war victims.

will Watch the game of course as I am a fan of Manny no matter who he will be facing.

So he's following the footsteps of retired boxing professionals who can't really hang up their gloves hehe. I find this unfortunate but I guess he still needed all that exposure to be relevant. The good side here is that the money generated from the event will be donated to Ukraine's relief efforts.
Better than those boxers who do really pocketed out all of the money that they had earned on an exhibition match. This is just like on what Tyson had done on his amount earned on a charity  which is something commendable for a retired legend to do so.Same goes for Pacquiao whom do consider on doing the same.
Its not bad honestly but just like the rest been saying that this is really lacking some hype yet i dont even know on whom he would be fighting.
If its an another known personality then we might already noticed this earlier or directly.

Pac is a politician so it's also a public show. He is also a businessman, there were articles that he owns a lot of businesses in his country so that's a very big factor for him to just give away his money. He doesn't need the money for he can survive and countless of his descendants in the future.

The fight had been mentioned in some boxing threads but this is an exhibition fight that also promotes Korean youtuber.

There is hype is this fight, it's that there are so many professional fights that is worth talking and we all know that this is just a exhibition fight to begin with.

But with Manny entering the world of entertainment and exhibition fight, for sure this is just a test on his part. Yes, he is present in Floyd's fight in Japan and Floyd even travel to the Philippines. So I expect that this is just the beginning for Manny and there will be another one in the future, maybe in Japan or Saudi Arabia wherein Manny has a lot of fans as well.

There’s no news and hype with this match, maybe because it’s just an exhibition match and we already know who will gonna win on this. Yes, after the busy life of Pacquiao in politics, it’s good to see him back in the ring. Is this already settled? Less than 2 months now and yet Manny is still in Korea doing some show. Well, let’s see if there will be odds for this exhibition match, that’s still possible though.

Maybe the fight is still in December that's why there is no thread about this exhibition fight. But I agree that we missed Manny in the ring, and so this is the next big thing for us to see, him and DK Yoo in a exhibition match. His presence in Japan with Floyd shows that this might be Manny's thing in the future. And I do agree that this gesture of giving the money that we will be making in this fight for Filipinos is what distinguished Manny from other boxers like Floyd, they are all for the money.

I think it has been discuss here a bit, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/boxing-speculation-odds-and-predictions-5370631

But yes, nevertheless it deserved a separate thread since this is the legendary Manny Pacquiao first exhibition match against a Youtuber.

And of course, everyone is interested to see Manny in the ring again, after all he is one of the greatest, but he had to retired from professional boxing. Good to hear that the proceeds will go the homeless in the Philippines, that is good to hear the Manny is helping his fellow countryman in whichever he can.

This is what I like Pacquiao, if he will go back inside the ring even just for exhibition fight.
The proceeds won't really go entirely to his pockets, but there is charitable organization or entities that will benefit.
If all exhibition matches will have this mission, I believe it is worth watching them even if it is not a real fight.
Pacquiao is already a politician and he has good life already, but he is willing to be back for the sake of less fortunate people.
I will also watch this for the mere thought that this Legend in boxing will try to show his prowess inside the ring one more time, even just for entertainment purposes.

I am surprised no one is talking about this here yet, I guess it's probably because no one really knows who DK Yoo is(even I don't know who he is).

also, I saw in one of the articles that Proceeds from the event will be donated to the homeless in the Philippines and families affected in Ukraine.
