as far as I know, he already talks about his plan for retirement in the near future(maybe after the second fight this year since he plans to fight twice in 2021). They are still finalizing the deal for sure and this might be the last fight of Pacquiao especially if he won on the upcoming elections in the Philippines where many says that Pacquiao will run for president, this fight can help the exposure of Manny in the public so I think they will push this one. Let's wait for the final announcement and i also believe the inactivity of Manny is not good considering his age as well.

Unfortunately, it's very quiet, I don't know if this is an indication that the fight has been sealed already and just waiting for the right time to announce it, or this fight is not going to happen.

Not to boost, but probably wanted to remain relevant as we all know that he got his exposure in boxing first before taking on his political ambitions. So it's a win-win for him if he keeps on fighting, he will be talk not just in the Philippines but globally, and then he was to earn huge amount.
