If I just add my .10 worth of sat on Manny's performance and what could be the reason that he losses to an underdog here:

1. old age/Father Time - inevitable, every athlete needs to retire

2. ring rust - out for two years

3. not enough time to prepare for a replacement fighter - no game plan for Ugas, just go there and do your best

4. overtrain - he took extra rounds because he is anticipating a fight with Spence

5. Ugas at the prime of his career

This is not an excuse. Just finding out the possible reason.

I will grade your observation as all of the above, number 3 is the main reason remember Manny's first fight in Vegas back in 2001 he was also a replacement took 7 days notice and his opponent does not know what to expect from him in the ring and he is fighting a very classy fighter in Ledwaba, this is also what happens to Manny he prepared for Spence and he cannot adjust to Ugas fighting style because of lack of time.

I don’t think he does it because he loves boxing so much. I’ve heard rumors he has quite a cocaine habit to fund and that is why he continues to fight while doing damage to his reputation every time he steps into the ring. It’s sad that people can make so much money in their lives and be so successful and then end up a slave to their lifestyle. I hope Manny gets help and sets himself up for old age before he starts boxing youtubers for cash.

I'm not sure about that rumour, gambling yes, specially cockfighting, but drugs nah I don't think so.

He is already set for life, he has a lot of businesses in his native town, owns condo units in the States and across the Philippines. He is one of the richest person here.

The problem is that Manny has a political ambitions that he needed money to fund his campaign if he does run for the Presidency.

It would really be much more better if he had some good records or impressions on the time
he do make out some retirement and wont really be ending up just like an ordinary boxer on where people do have that  feeling that he had just retired as a loser and not a great boxer.
Well, Pacquiao's boxing career is a whole different level compare to others, he set lots of world records in his prime that no one can achieve asides him, even at age the of 40 can still KO an opponent years younger than him, and sets as the oldest welterweight fighter/champion on boxing, funny but he sets that record as well.^^

It's just that age affects his movements, and having leg cramps while fighting is too painful, and that should be a sign for him to resign for good.
I agree, his records are unique and I know why others don't see that. Despite the loss to Ugas, he will remain as the record holder for many divisions of being a champion. I doubt that someone in this new era of the remaining boxers can do such adjustment while they are at their prime. If people are thinking like that, they're only looking at the recent lose that he had but ignoring most of his achievements, this loss is incomparable to the past matches that he had for his entire career.
People already understand that one day Manny will not win anymore, his age already is a big excuse but Manny keeps pushing to inspire people that age is just a number if you'll take care of your body. Ugas advantage is, he is bigger and younger, and probably hungrier as he was the defending champion that fight. After the fight, both are still in good sport and you can see the respect of Ugas as although he celebrates, he knows he had the opportunity to fight and beat the legend that every boxer would like to have an opportunity.
Indeed..

We have already anticipated that time will come that he wont able to make more wins since he's not getting younger but rather going older. Human body is just normal to deteriorate where performance would highly
be affected and its just normal with those upcoming fight might be a loss.Just like on what others been saying that it would depend on him on when he would retire and everybody on the globe will definitely know
if that thing happens but for now if he decide to fight more on upcoming years to come then lets just see and wait but it do really sucks that seeing him losing rather than on completely retire.

It could be he was involved with illegal activity but that was before, it is hard to pass a drug test as of now which is I think it is not necessary for him. Fighting against drugs in their country is very restricted and there is no way that you can use it.

Youtubers? no, he is I guess busy with his political carrier by next year. I have heard rumors he was planning to run Presidential or he will remain as Senator. That is enough for me, he earned money a lot and he has also businesses to think of.

Wait.. what? Who is involved with illegal activities?

If we are talking about Manny Pacquiao here, I think he is a clean man, he is only accused of using enhancement drugs but was not involved in illegal drugs like cocaine or whatsoever, he is the pride of the Philippines who are into war against illegal drugs, I don't think the fans will idolize him if he has that kind of record.

He just took the cash on this match for the funding of his possible campaign for the highest position in the government with the upcoming election.

I don't know about that rumor but it's more likely that he did it for his additional budget needed as he's about to file his candidacy.

There's nothing he can do to improve, he already gives his best, it's just that through time, he cannot get back his old strength anymore. If we look at the Thurman fight when he got tired in the late rounds, we saw something that we didn't see when he was still in his prime.
We cannot make him stop and he's the only one would really know on when he would hanging out his gloves and he might not really thinking off about more money on  more fights but rather engaging through boxing
because it is his passion to have.

I cant really blame out people who would pursue even they do know they are on the verge of the ending up of their legacy but still continuing just because they do really love boxing very much.

He's the only one do know on whats the condition of his own body and if he do find out that he's not able to fight that well or according to his own judgement then thats the time he would hang his gloves.

As of recent news, Ugas will accept a rematch.
Why not, for Yordenis Ugas this is the biggest platform he got and may be the biggest payday of his life. He will be accepting a rematch for the payday.
No, not maybe, Pacquaio isn't young anymore to fight in another additional year(s) to his age. He even mentioned it on the post fight press conference, he might even consider retiring this time and focus on his political career. Welterweight division is too much for his age now, he should retire.
Considering to retire in much better, he is now 43 years old and I think that age must be enough to retire and hang up his glove.
It was expected that Manny Pacquiao will not win this fight, his opponent is the beast while he is not but I saw Manny Pacquiao's fight has changed, he is a little bit slow and I dont see the eagerness on her face.
I beg to disagree, let's just based it on the betting odds, not on our personal opinion as most likely that's the general opinion of most bettors. Prior to the fight, the betting odds are the following.

Quote
Fight card, odds
Manny Pacquiao -360 vs. Yordenis Ugas +280, WBA welterweight championship
https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/news/pacquiao-vs-ugas-results-highlights-mark-magsayo-rallies-to-knock-julio-ceja-out-cold-and-earn-title-shot/

That's how heavily favored Manny Pacquiao, you have to bet $360 just to win $100.

Hate to say it but yeah it's time for pac to hang the gloves up.  Enjoyed watching him in his prime but he's a step slow now.  Don't want to get your noggin rung every time you go out in the ring, doesn't bode well for the last part of your life.
Manny did his best to win but Ugas is well prepared to counter attack and defend his title, Manny reached an incredible record already, I think that’s already enough and its time to enjoy all your hard work and focus on other things. This might be his last fight, still a good fight though.

The best time to retire rather than on making himself look like a loser if he would continue to fight and would lose another. It would really be much more better if he had some good records or impressions on the time

I was already have doubts that he would really lost up this current fight considering on the body condition and with age then you can really tell  that he would really be having the higher odds of losing.
So it isnt really a bad idea on hanging out his gloves after this loss.

Also possible if he needs money, then we might see him fighting back and try to win with the rematch Ugas is open and he wanted the fight to happen if Manny's camp will aim for it.

For now, let these two fighters rest and enjoy the money that they've got after this fight. The beauty of having a good assurance taking out the bills after 12 rounds of fight.

Congrats Ugas and lets wait if there will be a rematch for these two champs.
