I'm thinking, perhaps it's best if we will see Vargas uses all his advantages and then Magsayo totally negating it by betting the come in fighter and not giving Vargas any room, like it's a suffocating offense.

I would either bet on Magsayo by KO or Vargas by decision and since I'm betting on Magsayo to win, I would go with Magsayo by KO. It could be a tough fight for Magsayo but with his power, we all know that he is capable of knocking out anyone, so let's support him and be ambitious with our bet.

Yes, both fighters are cut to the bones, Vargas though looks very serious in the weigh-in while Magsayo is calm and smiling, reminds of Manny Pacquiao.

Of course, there are a lot of Filipinos in this thread, you can just look at the votes and see Magsayo winning. But it's very different in the ring. Just wanted to see a good fight and hopefully a knock out as well.

The fight is all set now, both make the minimum weight at 125 and 1/2 lbs.

Sure war inside the ring between this two great warriors. We all know that Philippines and Mexico has a history of great fights and so this might be added on their storied rivalries.

But I will be biased and support Magsayo in this fight and hopes he win in any fashion, ko or decision.

Magsayo is quite used to that difference already, actually, he also encountered the same difference when he fought against Rigoberto Hermosillo last October 2020 but Magsayo managed to dominate the Mexican boxer who has almost the same reach and height advantage with Rey Vargas. So, that won't really be a big deal to the Philippine boxer, he just had to have to proper strategy so that he can get as close as possible with Vargas and try to get him KO.

Magsayo will have to double time on his match I have seen Vargas utilizing his height and reach advantage on many of his opponents, his straight right is very effective and he is good at checking the distance, I hope Magsayo is fully prepared for this fight, Vargas is used to fighting fighter shorter than him but Magsayo seldom fights fighters that are very tall than him.

But Vargas is still undefeated, IIRC, I believe Magsayo was also knockdown in the past and the same as Vargas, he stood up continue and win the fight.
This is definitely hard to guess as both are undefeated, so bet according to what you believe, follow your mind.

And he has to throw it like going down, so it will take a lot of effort instead of like horizontal punch. I think Magsayo will become the aggressor and target the body because Vargas is so tall. He has all the blue print on how to beat a taller guy, just watch Manny destroys Chris Algieri or even Antonio Margarito.

If he can do that successfully, then he might win the fight. But based on the what I see in youtube, Vargas has been down 3 times in different opponents in the past, and although he stood up and win the fight but we can see that he has a weakness. If Magsayo will caught him clean, a KO punch would be great to see.
