^ That is good exposure for both fighters if they will be held in the US about this match. Promotion of course and the awareness from the other country will probably their benefits not only in the country of Japan. I did not know that japan until now is very strict on health protocol like lockdown. However, probably that is in April and there is much to be prepared with this fight or everyone has been already taken the vaccine since it is now applied worldwide.
For Michael Dasmarinas, I dunno if he can able to defeat Inoue at this time. How many of you pick Dasmarinas?
Much better for Inoue to really fight outside of Japan, he is very talented and he needs to bring that to US to make more money. Yes, Japan has strict protocols because of the covid-19, even the Olympics are being postpone. April might be a good date though, maybe the vaccine will help somehow.

Michael Dasmarinas will be the huge underdog here.

Underdog but would really be that capable of taking Inoue down but that wont really be a simple thing to be done yet you know that you've been fighting a monster boxer.  Cheesy

I would like to know on how long Dasmarinas would able to withstand on Inoues hard punches but still im not looking too low with that Filipino boxer yet it might really have something
up into this sleeves.

Checked out on the previous fights of Dasmarinas and this guy isnt really just similar into those underdog boxers. You can really expect something on this one
and might really be worth on taking up some bets.

I do really like to see that Inoue vs Casimero but seems this one will be the first to happen before them.

Still yet not finalized,

Inoue-Dasmarinas: Date, Site Of Fight Depends On COVID-19 Restrictions In Japan.

If Japan is not viable, then obviously this should be held in US, still a win-win situation for Inoue. He really needed that exposure to the US market. We all know that he is that good, but if he keeps on fighting on his native Japan, then casual fans won't recognized his name.

Also suited for Michael Dasmarinas, if he can pull an upset here, then he can get some fans in the US.

Quote
“Here’s the problem with Inoue – they want his fight to be in Japan, his next fight to be in Japan,” Arum said. “The problem is, if you’re not from Japan, you can’t get into Japan. There’s a complete lockdown. Even if you’re willing to spend 14 days in quarantine, you can’t get in now. So, to say, ‘Yeah, it’s gonna happen in April,’ who the hell knows? Yeah, we’d love to have him fight in April. But we may have to bring him out of Japan and have him fight someplace else.”

The thing with Japanese fighters, they want to fight in their home soil and they don't care about exposure as Japan can afford to pay fighter just to come to their country to fight, Mayweather circus is a great example.

This could be a problem for Bob Arum as he want Inoue to be popular in Vegas where the money sits as lot of gamblers are there.

In the fight will be held in the US, a neutral ground, this could somehow lessen the advantage of Inoue over Dasmarinas as he is once again out of his comfort zone.

Naoya Inoue really needs to get out of his comfort zone to really test his greatness, and to be his name recognised as one the best bantamweight in recent history. Otherwise he will be stuck like Indonesian's Christ John. So it's better for Arum to promote him state side, although the pandemic really affected everyone including boxers.

I have seen some of Dasmarinas fights and he has a good potential, he is a developing boxer, young and a good prospect, and Inoue is his biggest test and a test that I don't think he can hurdle, Inoue is just to good, battle tested and only a battle tested boxer like Casimero can keep up with him, this will just another build up fight for Inoue and another trophy to his greatness.
I already know who will win the fight but I like to see if Dasmarinas can show some new things that is different from all the boxers Inoue has fought.

Naoya Inoue will prevail over this fight. This will be a battle which Dasmarinas should prepare with all his focus and determination. He needs no less than a perfect performance in order to finally put an end to Naoya's unblemished record. In fact, I think Michael will have to land a shot that is to be considered a lucky punch that will make Naoya unconscious. Outside of it, I cannot see Naoya being defeated by a highly unknown fighter in the division who has only faced more locals than international opponents.

Naoya Inoue's next bout "likely to be held in Japan"!

This is a great advantage for the champion if indeed it will be help in his country, I just hope Michael Dasmarinas will give a good fight to him.
If only it's Casimero, I would not worry as his road record is good, lol.

Remember that the Philippines Michael Dasmarinas has good records [30-2-1, 20 KO], which going by will pose some threat to his opponent Naoya Inoue, but the facts still remains that this fight won't be as easy as we thought, it is an opportunity for Michael Dasmarinas to show once again that he's a true fighter.
Inoue has a fantastic record too, never lose at the moment (20-0, 17 KO). but statistics are not that important, Dasmarinas inactive since 2019 which will be affecting his performance too. So, before real fighting happens we should watch the simulator of how Dasmarinas take KO Inoue, https://www.sports-fights.com/michael-dasmarinas-vs-naoya-inoue_faca3ca57.html

If in case Dasmarinas will win this fight, Inoue's fans for sure will be upset. And that will be Dasmarinas' ticket to go for bigger fights. But can he outsmart Inoue on this match? Interesting, right? But what I am sure is that Dasmarinas will prepare for this one as he is facing the already-famous Inoue here. So the ball is on him if he can indeed challenge Inoue.

And Bob Arum will be upset too  Grin.

This is a mandatory fight for Inoue and if Bob Arum will permit this to happen then for sure the biggest fight for Dasmarinas career.

If you guys noticed, when an unknown Filipino fighter comes into this kind of a situation, they will bring their all and leave nothing behind as this will be the ticket to stardom just like Manny Pacquiao. Hell of a fight for the Filipino pug but who knows, this is boxing and miracle do happen sometimes. Michael needs to KO the Monster here as the fight will happen in Japan, a place known for boxing robberies hehe.

Japan's Inoue will have to defend his belt against IBF mandatory Michael Dasmarinas of the Philippines.
So this is finalised already so it will be Dasmarinas and not John Riel Casimero. It's a long waiting for Dasmarinas, who have been the mandatory since 2019, but he has to wait after the WBSS bantamweight tournament. Would love to see Dasmarinas win this, however, I don't think that anyone can beat Inoue at 118 lbs right now, maybe except Casimero

So let's wait for the final date, we still have the Covid-19 situation though, I speculate that the fight could be held around May-June.

Was really expecting for Inoue vs Casimero fight but it ends up with Dasmarinas, well we cant do anything about that yet management or both teams would really
have always the decision in the end or rather they do just make out some delays with Inoue and Casimero fight for building up the hype or interest? Who knows?
Lets skip about that matter and stick with that Dasmarinas fight then i dont really underestimate Filipino boxers because these fighters can really go toe to toe
with those highly favorite boxers and can turn up side down the table on least expected. Im bit excited for this one.

I dig Dasmarinas highlights here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPW_4JSxkMQ

We want to see Casimero vs Inoue in the future, the fight could be very close, Casimero is a brandish fighter and his style might pose problems for Inoue.

Good highlights of Dasmarinas fights, he can punch and he likes to work on the body, but the big question is can he cannot those hard punch, Inoue's speed is awesome and he can land a punch anytime he wants, he developed a perfect timing, I hope Dasmarinas can match his firepower, I like him to win but to be realistic, his chances are slim.

Inoue still looking good but I like Dasmarinas because he is a Filipino and he will never back down, considering that he is the underdog which eventually give us a good betting odds, it makes me think of hoping for a chances that he can KO the champion.

If Dasmarinas can survive the power of Inoue, this would be an interesting fight.

It's questionable if Dasmarinas can offer resistance or can he keep up with Inoue's power and speed, the only fighter I can think of who can keep up and can offer resistance is Casimero, and this is a good tune-up fight for Inoue, we all want to see the two fighters go at each other Inoue and Casimero but we all know promoters and media want to maximize exposure and income for this fight and it could happen if the pandemic is contained.

Of course he can offer some resistance, but the question is how long? Maybe he can stand toe to toe with Inoue in the first few rounds, but after that Inoue will take over as he already know Michael's strength and re-adjust and probably this fight won't last 10 rounds, to be honest.

I am sure, Dasmarinas is preparing hard for this fight as he will be the underdog here.

Although both fighters are furious and have their own chances of defeating each other,
it's the will and the strategy that will count, training camp from both ends will make the
difference and standup winning this fight.
Exactly, we don't know who will win between these two fighters though the odds will surely in favor of Naoya Inoue still the outcome is unpredictable since there are too many events that most commonly underdog will win at the end.

If Michael Dasmarinas will luckily defeat Naoya, that's a big crown for him and he is the first boxer who will defeat Michale Naoya. But I have a strong feeling that this Michael Dasmarinas won't be able to win the match. I know that would be proud of most Pinoy since they had a king of boxing Manny Pacquiao but on this match, I will bet Naoya.

Naoya will be the clear favourite no doubt about it. And as much as we love a great upset, the chances are very slim against Inoue. Although Filipinos has a history of upsetting great boxers in the past, but those boxers are exceptional, like Pacquiao, Donaire, Penalosa. Not downplaying Dasmarinas, but he is not on the level of those legendary Pinoys.
