We still don't have a schedule for this match nor venue? I wonder what's happening with their promoters they seem to have no intention to make this fight happen this year. I wonder why?
I really wanted to see Donaire fight before he will face anyone who is capable to exchange punches with him as Inoue did in the final match of the World Boxing Super Series tournament.
Donaire should be given a good fight just before he retired. maybe he just needs to wrap things up when he reached 40 years old to preserve his honor.

I'm not thinking that way. Gaballo is a rising star and if bettors will place a bet on him, it's worth betting and not actually can be considered as a huge risk. Donaire's experience and firepower can't be ignored and even at this age, he can still explode but it doesn't mean he has all the advantages on that match.

In terms of betting, there's no comfort bet whether you bet on Donaire and Gaballo. I don't see Donaire as a Favorite nor Gaballo as an underdog. The latter just becomes an underdog because of Donaire's experience. Gaballo's 24 KOs out of 20 matches should not be treated as an easy task just because most of his opponents are far from being popular.

I'm not with Gaballo to win but I'm sure he will give the veteran Donaire a close match and possibly an upset.

Donaire is considered already as a veteran boxer equipped with enough fight experience from his past fights however the rising star Gaballo is also a type of a fighter that the opponent shouldn't be comfortable with. Gaballo is younger than Donaire when it comes to age but this young fighter have had an experience already with a 24 fights and 20KO considered as underdog because of the experience of Donaire compare to him but betting on Gaballo may not be considered as a huge risk. I had seen the fights of Donaire inside the ring and this fighter is exceptional however with this upcoming fight I go with Gaballo instead.

Betting on the underdog in a fight with a good odd is already good and not a risk in my opinion. Because if the underdog upsets the favourite then obviously it will be a good win.

And in this fight, Gaballo has a good chance to win against Donaire because of his youth. Of course, our sentimental favourite will still be Donaire because he has bring so much glory to PH in the last 15 years or so, like Manny Pacquiao. But this is a fight that could really be the passing of the torch to the new guy that will carry it again for PH in the next coming years.

If there's odds already we will have an idea how attractive the odds of Gaballo in this fight are.

It's hard to decide if we will just follow our heart as most of us will bet on Donaire to win, but if the odds are very low since he is clearly the favorite here, we would not make a good profit in this fight.

We are looking for an upset if we bet on Gaballo, and if he wins, we will also enjoy a good return on our money.
$100 to win $300, I think this one is good enough for me.

I don't really think it's hard to decide on this one, the age gap is a big problem, I know that Nonito has solidified himself inside the ring and considering the amount of fights that he had inside the ring, but will his punches still be as solid as when he was still young? Reymart Gaballo is only 25 whilst Nonito Donaire is 38, there's a big gap, I love Nonito Donaire and have been a fan ever since he started to rise and gain popularity but if we're talking about bets on this fight, I might have to go with the younger and potential boxer Reymart Gaballo, that's my opinion, feel free to give any honest reactions.

You cannot tell on the body of Donaire that he is ready as he doesn't have a body of a boxer that has many abs due to workout, and that makes Donaire different from other boxers as he looks underrated because of the built of his body.
-snip-
Agreed Donaire's body is different compared to other boxers, his abs doesn't look prominent. It's not because he's fat or not training anymore, but his body looks like that from the beginning his career. He's really show how his performance with some good boxers e.g. Naoya Inoue, his body is strong even Inoue give body shots. We can't really judge 100% from the covers.

Probably his genetics, and when he was still younger, yeah he doesn't have abs but he doesn't store fat as well. Except for when he gets old, no body can defeat father time so many he gain some around that belly and yet he can still fight at high level.

And that is when he try to go up on weight and then losses, he goes down to bantamweight because all he can gain is belly fat and not pure muscle unless he took weights, but out of the question as it will slow him down.

I honestly still confused Gaballo's 24 KOs out of 20 matches should not be treated as an easy task just because most of his opponents are far from being popular.
That record is really something and a reason why we should not underestimate his ability. He is not popular (same goes for his previous opponents) like the other well-known boxers but thats not only the basis to know who might win.

I'm not with Gaballo to win but I'm sure he will give the veteran Donaire a close match and possibly an upset.
Yes this is not an easy fight for Donaire even he's veteran already.

Anyway, those who bet on Gaballo must definitely have a huge risk to gamble, while betting on Donaire could be a more comfortable bet.

It's typical for fans to have their verdict already as they speculate a match. I think this is pretty normal for the side of the fans but it's true that we should have judged a match that hasn't happened yet.

These two are good boxers and we don't know what's waiting for them and also for us as we wait this to happen. Many speculations and scenarios are building on our minds and I think that's really normal.

True! as a fan, even the fight is not been happen yet but for the solid fan they already place their side and conclude that their idol are the one who win the fight, if you are into betting analysing is very important, bringing all the fact that give a fighter a good advantage against his opponent is the better way before you put your money.

A lot of possibilities to happen inside the ring. We don't know what these two fighters have to offer. We are all basing our opinions about how they fought from their previous fights.

But things chance and who knows what adjustment both fighters have to try winning over another, right? Tongue
Very normal to have fans conclude whoever is the winner of the match despite of it that we're just giving our opinion. I think this is the beauty of having solid supporters and fans that have a say why their idols are going to win.

It's with justification including the preparations, statistics, experiences and other factors that has been given based on their opinions. But still, at the end of it, we have to wait until we see the true winner of this match soon.

it is your money, so you should be smart on how you spend this especially in boxing.
That's a wrong mentality, if you think of it as spending then it's called expense on your part, no, it should not be that way, gambling with a purpose to win or be successful in the long run is called investing, so invest wisely on your pick in sports betting.
Investing means you'll get something in return but in gambling, there's no guarantee for this so technically this is not expense or even investing, this is just a pure gambling nothing more not unless you stake with your gambling site so it can be consider as investment.

You bet on your winning team and with regards to the fight of Nonito and Gaballo, I'll place my bet on a boxer that I know how to fight and sees his fighting career and that is Nonito, though Gaballo is also a rising star I might still not confident to bet with him. Can't wait for their final date of match.

There are different types of investment.
Now, the guy you have quoted said when you gamble in the hopes to make good profit can be considered as investment. After all, investment doesn't always guarantee a return.
Anything you spend money on and potentially earn profit in the future could be considered as an investment.
Trading for example has a slight similarities with gambling and it was called investment, right?

Anyway, those who bet on Gaballo must definitely have a huge risk to gamble, while betting on Donaire could be a more comfortable bet.

You cant just make out bets without having those analysis and research because you wont able to feel the thrill since you dont really care at all from the start.
If you are not basing on the stats to make an analysis, then probably you are just gambling, no chance for you to improve your skill as a sports bettor as you rely on pure luck, this is not like the other games that have a house edge, you should use your knowledge and skills to increase your chance of winning.

This is the reason why sports betting like boxing is one of the best ways to earn it's all about the player's capability by the record of their previous match you can see the players chance of winning its already a hint where to bet. Also their body and the match games because sometimes even the player is already underdog they can make an amazing game and winning the belt. As for now i trust with the Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire on ranking looks like he's the second to Manny among all strong boxers in ph.

Not all favorites won the game, they just have a high percentage of winning as they are the better fighter on paper, but as a gambler, we should carefully evaluate both boxers and try to find the advantage and weaknesses of each boxer, that way you'll be able to determine who will win based on your analysis.

However, you should not be too confident that you'll win and you will just go all in or YOLO, remember that gambling has a risk, you have to effectively manage it if you want a long-term success.

And based from the recent matches in boxing, we have seen several upsets. Those who were heavily favored by bookies lost. Though I am not ignoring Donaire's power, but I do agree that as a gambler or bettor, you should look for all angles that will favor your bet. At the end of the day, it is your money, so you should be smart on how you spend this especially in boxing.

And in the face-off and weigh-in, you can clearly see who has prepared so much in a particular fight because their body looks awesome (no homo). And then their resume, the stats will tell who's boxer has a big chance to win against their opponents. So hopefully, Donaire still has it, can pull the trigger and maybe shows us some of his prime moves specially the timing of his left hook.

You cannot tell on the body of Donaire that he is ready as he doesn't have a body of a boxer that has many abs due to workout, and that makes Donaire different from other boxers as he looks underrated because of the built of his body.

Compared the body of Donaire and the boxer he Knock out in his previous fight.

This is a better between a young and hungry fighter against an experience champion, we know who would likely win but if you believe on the ability of Gaballo, you should never doubt putting a bet for him.

I have been following this match up as it catches my interest on Gaballo as a promising next Filipino boxer, and Donaire is a big step to that ladder.
One of the Filipino boxing analyst told an article what Gaballo could do to possibly beat Donaire, and to my surprise it's not really that hard to achieve as Gaballo is young and KOed almost every opponent.
So, I guess being aggressive isn't gonna be a problem for Gaballo, but to hurt Donaire might be hard especially when Donaire's head movement and footwork is almost the same as his prime days.
Betting on Gaballo is actually a good bet here IMO.

And he can also bet Donaire by just having a stamina that can last full twelve rounds. Donaire is ageing already and his gas in the tank might be questionable in this fight. So Gaballo needs to deliberately extend the fight from round 6 and up. Because Donaire is really dangerous early with his timing and body shots and his left hook. He just want for Donaire to gas out and then try to knock him out.

This young Gaballo should worry more about the first 4 rounds in this fight because it's the most crucial for him to get knocked-out in the early rounds. Given that Donaire's age, he should focus more on winning early rounds and give much damage to his opponent because he already knows that his stamina won't last that long due to his age. So I think so too, that Gaballo's goal is to have Donaire last for longer rounds and then that's the time he'll gonna try to defeat Donaire or worse knock him out if he can.

And we already know that Donaire isn't on his prime anymore so his strength and stamina has been dramatically on much lower scale now. But still Gaballo should be careful and watch Donaire's deadly left hook and body shots combination.

Of course we don't need to analyze every fight that we wanted to bet, but most of the time it's really hard  just like this one. The youth of Gaballo and then Donaire's experience and his left hook. But the posters here might help us do our analysis and make our final decision on which one we are going to bet. No doubt that the winner here is still the boxing Filipino community around the world.
