Yeah, there will be a lot of money flowing in and that's why it's a good date if that's the final said date that the match will happen. If there are a lot of rumors and some are coming from reliable sources then we can have at least that expectation but no assurance.
There is the expectation that we have on the information that's being spread but still, the official one is still the best source that we can ever know when it will happen.

If the announcement will be delayed, we cannot expect a fight to happen this year.

Donaire is already in good promotion management now, same with Casimero, so they have to win against their challenger and start next year hunting big fights where most likely either one of them will get Inoue, but I have a feeling Inoue will choose an easy path which is Donaire since he beat him before.
It's okay, there's still a month for the announcement once everything they have to set has been already set. With all of the news and rumors about the possible date.
Then that would be by December and there's still enough time for them to market the match and for sure that it will be easier for them. Because there are a lot of fans that are waiting to watch some good boxing matches and this match of Nonito is included and worth the wait.
Not enough time if they'll fight in December, I mean how about the advertising of the fight? They will have to train for the fight, and that would likely require them for over a month to be very fit, so there's a little time left as in the next 2 days, it will already be November.

I think Nonito keeps his body active after his win against Ouballi.

And the order was released on September 21, so maybe after both parties received the order from WBC they might have have prepared themselves for this fight already.

For the promotion, again a full one month could have been enough for this fight. And the one handling this fight have many experience in promoting a fight so I don't think this will be a problem.

I'm sure there will be a new champion soon aside from Casimero and Donaire, obviously, Donaire will retire soon, so we need some fighters to step up and to continue bringing honor to our country.

And that was Reymart Gaballo. I'm with him against Nonito Donaire. I'm looking forward that Donaire will give Gaballo a difficult fight to win. Donaire still has that power but better hang his gloves now. He can't show his 100% to Gaballo because his target was Casimero and Naoya Inoue.

Donaire needs to be physically 100% in this fight, Gaballo is no push over, and he is very ambitious too and that's what makes him a very dangerous opponent for Donaire. I understand your reasoning, Donaire is old and might be slipping and fighters really do age and show it in their fight. As I have said, he needs to be perfect here, his preparation is everything. Otherwise, we will see Gaballo making an upset. And set the tone for a new Filipino coming up in the ranks.

And even being perfect may not be enough, it is obvious that Donaire is a great fighter but sometimes all the preparation of the world is not going to be enough because as you get old your body no longer responds as it used to, this means that even with the perfect preparation Gaballo could still beat him simply because he is younger, this is obviously unfair but it is the way all sporting competitions work and there is nothing he can do about it.

Correct, that's why we have a saying that boxers gets old overnight. Because how much they trained and dedicate themselves and sacrifice, it's not even enough for certain boxers to win.

Specially with the condition that Donaire is, he is no longer young and he could really get old in this fight, can't pull the trigger and his timing will be off. Giving the chance to Gaballo to become a new Filipino champion.

If I'm not mistaken, during the Casimero vs Donaire fight, the announcement was made roughly just around a month.

Here, both parties should already know there's a fight even before the announcement. It's hard to believe that they will just start the training after the announcement. Surely even before the announcement, they were already aware of their respective fights and their training is already taking place for long.
That is the way it works, fighters prepare themselves to be in optimal shape for a certain date, this is why when you see that once a fight has been agreed and one of the fighters cannot make it and a replacement needs to be found the date remains the same as the fighter has been training to be ready for that date, this is also why it is difficult to find a replacement as even if there are other good fighters that could replace the one that dropped if they are too early on their preparation they will not accept to get in the ring against someone that will be ready for that date.

You have your reason on why you believe Donaire might lose, so let's just see in the actual fight if Donaire really gets affected by his age. Gaballo is definitely not gonna take this for granted, this is his perfect timing to gain popularity in boxing, he is undefeated and soon will become a champion, I guess the future would be so bright for him, at least he should make that as an inspiration to train harder.

Precisely! Donaire needs to be fit in both physical and mental condition. Trainings should focus on these two. We know that he's already aging the possibilities that he might slip if he's not going to be extra careful during the fight.

Gaballo will surely give everything. It's an opportunity that every fighters are waiting. We will see him as more aggressive.

Proper balancing is very important, I don't want to see him like Manny Pacquiao who overtrained and experience a problem during the fight, just do the normal training, besides, he still got his skills and he has the advantage in terms of experience for the number of fights and most especially the quality of fights.

Quote
We can't tell or conclude if who's going to win. Both have that chance. It's on their performance that will bring the win for them.

No one can, but we have our choice and own prediction on which boxer would win based on their status now and their performance in their previous matches, and like I said, Donaire has the edge that's why he is the favorite to win.

There's holding back from what I'm seeing even Donaire himself told us that he will not go easy on Gaballo.
but on the other hand we can not rule out the age of these two boxers.
Nonito Donaire is one of the good boxers and that is evidenced by the titles he has collected throughout his history but his age is no longer compromised and it looks like he will be difficult to face Gaballo who is very clearly still in a productive age and still in prime.
I think nonito will be very difficult to face the determination and speed of Gaballo because age is what determines stamina

It's likely that the favor goes to Gaballo as time passes by. But we're still unsure of it, I didn't know that Donaire is about to retire soon and it's really new to my ear.
If ever he's really about to retire then this is one of his matches that should be watched by every fan of his in the world. I agree that he's not getting younger anymore and what he has shown to the world should be carried by another pride of his country.

He is already a champion, I think he holds the interim belt and then Donaire the regular belt that's why they need to fight to settle  only one champion here. And I think the future for Filipino boxers is bright, even if Donaire retire there are: Casimero, Gaballo and then Jonas Sultan and maybe a couple more to rise in the next 2-3 years.

Manny Pacquiao brought the popularity of boxing in the Philippines, we have witnessed a lot of our kabayans getting fights in the US, thanks to Manny and some promoters who are willing to invest in our Filipino fighters. Cant really deny on how great Pacquiao is and a truly boxing legend which is the first 8th world division champion in the sports of boxing which isnt something that can be  attained by any boxers out there.

He truly inspires other fellow countrymen to take the same step as him but that wont really be that simple because boxing in world stage
isnt something that you could just be too confident.

Donaire is indeed on the brink of retirement and Casimero is starting to climb up with the ladders.

Donaire is a great fighter we all know that, however what worries me is that age can affect a fighter relatively quickly, in one fight they look as if they are still their younger versions and then a few months later they look as if they got old in a hurry and aged 10 years during a few months, and this can only be avoided through massive training and dedication, and even then it comes to a point in which not even that is enough to reverse the aging process.

Yes, as what they say, boxers are good up only in their last fight. So maybe Donaire will become old and age overnight as he fight Gaballo. No one can beat Father Time, not even the great Manny Pacquiao.

The positive thing though is that it will still be a Filipino who will carry the flag in the bantamweight if ever he losses to Raymart. And now that we have another Filipino in the horizon, Jonas Sultan. But the biggest price for all this Filipino champion is still Inoue and so they have to beat them.
Personally I am glad that even if some legends are retiring from the sport we are seeing new stars emerging and trying to follow on their footsteps, it is not going to be easy especially for anyone trying to emulate Pacquiao as he is a legend that will be almost impossible to surpass, but at the same time if they do not try then they will never do so, and even if they fail they could write their own legend and become just as loved as Pacquiao was by the fans.
A certain Era would definitely ending up as we do go on future years to come. Those boxing legends getting old and retire and the younger ones would bloom out and trying to follow the path of those legends and thats why we are seeing these great fights out of these fighters which do really make
the sports of boxing to be interesting and its been through ages and we would continue as we do go forward.

Not enough time if they'll fight in December, I mean how about the advertising of the fight? They will have to train for the fight, and that would likely require them for over a month to be very fit, so there's a little time left as in the next 2 days, it will already be November.

I agree a lot with his analysis, in my view there is little preparation time, for me the most important thing for any boxer is his physical preparation, because this is only that he can guarantee the victory of a fight, here only the best will succeed. Get ready, I know that many give Donaire the winner, but Gaballo has the potential and the necessary strength, in this fight my point of view is not very defined, I see that Gaballo is hungry for victory and this is something that can bother him. psychological to Donaire.

There's still the month of November for the whole advertising for their match if it will happen by December. I think they have it all set and they can do all of it within a month.
There's still ample time for them to manage the advertisement if it's needed to happen. As for the training, I'm sure that they're already training themselves upon happening to know that they'll have a match.

I agree there. Their training already started even way back the announcement was made. They know early in advance the news before us of course. Regardless, we should now see some formal announcements regarding the fight. If the fight will set at December 11 as I read here, it's now time to release some information this week up to next week.

Fighter will be a fighter and training with or without a fight is a natural routine so expect that they are prepared on this since for sure they are speculating that there will be un upcoming fight for them in future and since the discussion is already made then the last thing they need to do is to have a schedule since if they have a proper set date towards this event for sure many people would make a noise about this on medias. December is a good month to cast this so lets hope about this to be done by their management.
