You cant just make out bets without having those analysis and research because you wont able to feel the thrill since you dont really care at all from the start.
If you are not basing on the stats to make an analysis, then probably you are just gambling, no chance for you to improve your skill as a sports bettor as you rely on pure luck, this is not like the other games that have a house edge, you should use your knowledge and skills to increase your chance of winning.

Well its not good to put a verdict towards this fight since we see great fighters lose on unexpected match up so even if Gaballo is underdog here he's still young and a knockout artist so provably he can give a good fight and problem in the camp of Donaire. But let see on this on who will win among them since its good to see if the young soul win or the proven champion will take win easily.

True it's not good to put a verdict because we don't know who will win, but if you are betting on this game, at least make sure you analyze carefully on who got the advantage so you can put your bet, that's the nature of gambling, we always claim our bet will win so we will be confident to win when watching the fight.
It's typical for fans to have their verdict already as they speculate a match. I think this is pretty normal for the side of the fans but it's true that we should have judged a match that hasn't happened yet.

These two are good boxers and we don't know what's waiting for them and also for us as we wait this to happen. Many speculations and scenarios are building on our minds and I think that's really normal.

It's really normal and it should not hurt someone if we speculate not in favor of his favorite fighter. We are gambling, we make an early judgment based on the past performance of a boxer, and only the outcome of the fight will tell if we are wrong or right with our speculation. Actually, it gives more fun and excitement if we have our own speculation of a certain fight as we can debate based on our knowledge.  Smiley
We do make out bets based up on speculation and of course it would really be just normal for us to look for into those important informations which a boxer/fighter does have in the past.
Seeing statistics is a must thing and the main numbers on where bettors do really tend to check first because with that then you could tell on whose the one with better experience and better percentage
on different factors which will really be relevant towards on your possible decisions.

True! as a fan, even the fight is not been happen yet but for the solid fan they already place their side and conclude that their idol are the one who win the fight, if you are into betting analysing is very important, bringing all the fact that give a fighter a good advantage against his opponent is the better way before you put your money.

A lot of possibilities to happen inside the ring. We don't know what these two fighters have to offer. We are all basing our opinions about how they fought from their previous fights.

But things chance and who knows what adjustment both fighters have to try winning over another, right? Tongue

This is a better between a young and hungry fighter against an experience champion, we know who would likely win but if you believe on the ability of Gaballo, you should never doubt putting a bet for him.

I have been following this match up as it catches my interest on Gaballo as a promising next Filipino boxer, and Donaire is a big step to that ladder.
One of the Filipino boxing analyst told an article what Gaballo could do to possibly beat Donaire, and to my surprise it's not really that hard to achieve as Gaballo is young and KOed almost every opponent.
So, I guess being aggressive isn't gonna be a problem for Gaballo, but to hurt Donaire might be hard especially when Donaire's head movement and footwork is almost the same as his prime days.
Betting on Gaballo is actually a good bet here IMO.

And he can also bet Donaire by just having a stamina that can last full twelve rounds. Donaire is ageing already and his gas in the tank might be questionable in this fight. So Gaballo needs to deliberately extend the fight from round 6 and up. Because Donaire is really dangerous early with his timing and body shots and his left hook. He just want for Donaire to gas out and then try to knock him out.

No update yet regarding the schedule of the fight? Is it going to happen this year or next year?

, what makes Donaire slowed down a bit is because he is not getting any younger, but despite that, he still prove to the boxing community that he is still here because he beat a champion to steal the belt, we can see it in his previous fight and on how impressive he was.
If he was slow in his last fight then Nordine Oubaali would easily hit him, I don't think he has slowed down already.
Yes, there's no doubt that he is not getting any younger because he is already 38 years old now but age is just a number for a champion and he can still go toe to toe against a younger fighter, even Gaballo and we shall see this big fight hopefully soon.
While he still looked fine during his last fight we also know that a drop in performance can happen very abruptly, this is what happened to Manny, he still looked as if he could fight a few more years if he wanted but thanks to the fact he wants to be president and his age he did not looked fine during his last fight, now Donaire is younger than Manny but at the same time he is not Manny so it is likely a drop in his performance could happen sooner rather than later.
And let us accept the reality that Age is really changing the ability and capacity of every boxers , Yes in their prime they might be given 100% accuracy and stamina but years passed this will eventually lessen and yes Donaire is not getting any younger so every changes is normal  i believe and this may change also in the enxt following fight .
He might get Oubaali but we Knew this fighter is far different comparing to Nonito's toughest opponent Inoue so lets see what comes in the next games .
Age would really take some effect on boxers/fighters performance which it isnt really surprising that they do become slow or not really simply on their prime days but doesnt mean that they arent
really capable on doing so.If we do really put up the recent match up Donaire and Inoue i could say that it is just a close one if he wasnt really been knockdown and able to
to sustain his stamina on later rounds then he might have a shot on beating Inoue that time but it isnt really enough. For this upcoming against Gaballo then lets
see if there are improvements that we notice.
To this we also need to take into account that boxing is an incredible taxing sport, unlike what we see in many other sports in which strong contact is discouraged and penalized we see the opposite in box, even if there are rules the fighters are there to hit each other, and even if they only fight a few times each year this is incredibly taxing on their body, so eventually something just breakdown and after that the fighter is never the same.

We can have a poll here but it's not necessary anymore as we know who will obviously win.

Comparing Gaballo against Oubaali, I believe the latter is better, so if that's the basis, then most probably Donaire will again have an impressive win.
The problem here is we sometimes are biased because this is a battle between two Philippine's pride, so it's hard to choose between them but for gambling purposes, it should be easy.

This is a big challenge for Gaballo though he has a good chance to win considering the age of Donaire and his previous matches. There's no final date for this fight so they both have enough time to prepare for this big match. I can't decide where to predict honestly after making some research for both boxer. Donaire is eager to win here so he can advance to the up and fight Inoue, while Gaballo is aiming to be on the spot light as well so this is a big fight this year for both boxer.
No exact time and preparations for both fighters are good enough to work everything out in hope to win this fight, Gaballo have more pressure since he's the challenger and Donaire coming from the last fight still got a good shape that can easily work out to be more fit for this upcoming fight.

Age gap might be the little advantage, but knowing how the greatness Donaire has and the skills of adjusting, he still has the solid and powerful hook.

Maybe we all know that upset may take place and if Donaire mistakenly over confidence with this fight, Gaballo may take his chance
in beating him, both Pinoys will surely try to impress their fans and the whole boxing world to increase their respective fames.

I would say it's an advantage for Gaballo but he is not a proven fighter who fought champions and defeat them, so Donaire will be able to handle this for sure. Look!, if Donaire survive against Inoue, I think he will be able to win this one as Gaballo is not Inoue, they are not on the same level.

As always, a young boxer would go to this kind of challenge if he wants to succeed, he needs to beat the best in the division and since this is a mandatory fight, there's nothing they can do but to fight although they are both the price of the Philippines.  I love Donaire, I'm a big fan but I also like the young Gaballo as he as the heart of a real warrior who never gives up, it's very evident in his previous fight, he works hard so he won the fight.

As they say in boxing, "boxers are good as in their last fight", and then the next fight might be different. Yes, Donaire was really superb against Ouballi, but it maybe the style of Nordine is tailor fit for Donaire. Nonito just stalked Nordine all night and just waiting to counter.

Might or might not be against Gaballo as Reymart is somewhat awkward but definitely has the power in both hands and that what's make him a dangerous opponent for Donaire.

Following your statement, yes, time changes with every fighter. Even we see him looks good from his previous fight.

we never know what he still has when facing another opponent, this one now is more younger and hunger for hyping his name
Gaballo will force everything he got to have that chance in winning from this fight.

It's exciting since we will see how both Pinoy will do the best that they can to win over another.
