But that is not the fans wanted for Fury to face isn't it? we demand a Joshua fight and it seems that they are in the negotiation table, unfortunately, it bogged down, we don't know who stall it or what is the problem because that is going to be huge in Britain. Chisora is not on the top 5 for the Heavyweight, maybe it was just a keep busy fight for Fury so that he can either wait for Usyk if he wanted to make it next year, or continue with the battle of Britain with Joshua. There is also a WBC title eliminator that is ordered by Sulaiman next week between Wilder and Ruiz Jr.
Tyson Fury keeps talking a lot of nonsense. He demanded an Usyk fight but wanted it to happen this December which doesn't make sense as Usyk wanted to properly heal himself from his 12-round fight with AJ.
The Fury-AJ talks were just talks. Fury wanted to lure AJ into a fight and we know AJ is a warrior and will accept it. But we also know that AJ has a team behind him that will advise him to stop it since he just lost his last fight. Another obstacle is Matchroom and DAZN just renewed its contract with AJ and pretty sure it is not cheap. They won't throw millions of dollars only for AJ to get destroyed by Fury after his defeat to Usyk. Eddie Hearn will stage tune-up fights for AJ until they feel his confidence is back.
What's funny is Fury trash-talking AJ and Usyk while he is also under negotiations with undeserving heavyweights like Manuel Charr and Derrick Chisora whom he already beat twice easily. There are many good heavyweights in the ranks but Fury prefers to unleash his loud mouth telling the public he wants Usyk and AJ but in reality, he's cherry-picking his next fight. Why not challenge the WBO interim Joe Joyce whom he shares with the same promoter and who's nearly his size with a perfect 15-0-14 KOs record? That would be easy to make and it would fill a stadium in the UK for sure as Joyce is a British silver medalist Olympian.
True, and it's the personality of Fury, hehehehe calling AJ and then Usyk for his bluff, and when they call off, they look for boxers that he has beaten already, so it's just a strategy for him to lure any of the two but so far he fails and as @bbc.reporter said, create the aura that he is not afraid to fight anyone and created more hype around his name. So good marketing strategy for him by his team.
He even said that he rate Chisora higher than Usyk, hehehehe.
What a way to hype his fight against a man he beat twice already.
