Canelo is the cash cow of boxing still, only boxer that kind of rival him as far as bringing fans to their seat is Ryan Garcia and Tank Davis. And that's why we've the two fought, it was the biggest fight of this year.

But for sure, if Canelo vs. Crawford pushes for next year, there will be a lot of maybe casual fans that are interested and intrigue by the match and it could produce millions of revenue in the PPV alone. So yeah, the Canelo hype is still here although his last fight by standards against Ryder is way below what is expected.

Legit and if they continue the drama in bringing more interest with the potential fight between Canelo and Crawford, they may bring more money and possibly to break the outcome of Garcia vs Davis, seems to me that it's just part of hypes trying to gain interest and if there are many responses from fans and readers, we might see negotiations and more topic about it.

Canelo's influenced still on and with that previous win from Crawford he will also bring people's interest and can be converted to tickets sales.

With regards to the potential Canelo vs. Bud next year, it sounds crazy but really doable if Canelo approves it. If I were Canelo, I would take it since it is the biggest fight in boxing right now. He will be bashed a lot though if he wins and it could be worse if he loses to someone who moves up two divisions. I like Bud to win but I believe Canelo will be too much and destroy him.
If I'm not mistaken, Canelo already welcomed the idea where he could face Crawford next considering that he will win in his upcoming fight against Charlo. It's just a matter of time though, what we need to know now is if Crawford is still that powerful and fast at 154 against Spence before he proceeds towards 168. I know that he's big and so 154 or 168 will be okay for him but that alone can't make him win.
All I heard and read before was that Canelo seemed interested but at 168. But after Crawford changed his tune and became interested in making that ambitious historic feat, Canelo is showing some hints that he is uninterested because he wouldn't get any credit if he wins. But I felt like Canelo is just trying to make an impression to the public that he is not the one pushing this mega fight. Canelo will propose this fight if Bud wins his rematch with Spence. I believe Crawford no matter how good he is in his current division, will be at a whole new level at 168. Financially, he is high-reward and low-risk fight for Canelo at 168. And Crawford at 36 with lesser reflexes, Canelo is not a welterweight and might just eat his punches just to land his own big punishing shots.
It's all part of Canelo's plan including that one where he seemed not interested because there's no benefit for him if he will fight Crawford but in reality, it's the opposite thing because he just wanted to make the people more hungry and thirsty so that their fight will be a headline for sure. And while that statement is true, Canelo should know his position mainly now that boxers in this industry are already looking at him down as he was showing some signs of weakness lately.

And if I were Canelo and knows personally that there is nothing goin on aside from getting older in the daily basis, then I'd say that I'll be happy to accept their invitation if they are really that interested because either way, it's a win-win situation and a huge paycheck for me is waiting, and lastly, the last laugh will always belong to me.

I agree with that. Canelo surely knows how to make people attracted even if the fight is still an idea, the fact that it's not yet declared, he will do something to make the people interested towards it so that they can generate as much money as possible and if they can build enough hype then that is the time where they will make it into a reality.

Next step is to market the fight but since we're talking about a future Canelo vs Crawford fight. I don't think that they really needed to market it because people will surely look forward in seeing that fight as there is also a chance that a history will happen again. Well, considering that Crawford will win.

He will be bashed a lot though if he wins and it could be worse if he loses to someone who moves up two divisions. I like Bud to win but I believe Canelo will be too much and destroy him.

No doubt, it would be the best fight ever since the guy will not hesitate to move just for the sake of beating Canelo and it will be the best opportunity for him as well because he won't need to sacrifice much since he is comfortable in their weight division, it would be best for him to accept such fight in order to fully raise their flag and we will seeing another huge fight next year once again.

Canelo should take that opportunity, as Crawford is at a big disadvantage if he moves up just to fight him. Take the win and earn a lot of money; that's good for him. He also has a big chance to destroy Crawford's dream of becoming an undisputed champion again. One thing that this fight guarantees is that both fighters are going to make a lot of money, so there's no reason this would not happen.

Good point, as we know that it's more on business and if the price is right, both fighters will be convinced to take one another, I think if Canelo will take this fight and win Crawford's hype will turned to him, I mean the current popularity of Crawford after beating Spence will go all the way to Canelo, and from that point, there's more money to expect whoever will be the next fighter to challenge him.

All will be depend on how the negotiation will work and what are the conditions between these two camps, but there's nothing wrong to expect if the fight will take place.

Crawford is enjoying the popularity he has now, and he wants to aim for a bigger challenge to become even more popular. He is not even thinking about his disadvantage; probably, as other boxers might just challenge a champion in a catchweight. However, Crawford is different; he wants to go up three weight divisions higher just to face the champion. I like the confidence of Crawford right now, as he leaves Canelo with no excuses for not taking this fight.

So, after Canelo beats Charlo, I think this fight will start to hype.

Crawford displaying this kind of guts and confident towards the whole boxing industry, it truly gives us a hard time to even doubt what he's thinking because we know that he wouldn't jump into cases that he knows he got only less chance in winning. And so I know that if he wanted to take this road then he sure do knows what he is doing, and we should trust them for that.

I even have some thought that he may have an upper hand against a man who literally owns and dominate his own weight class, Canelo Alvarez.

Most likely it was because of his confident win over Crawford, plus he and his team might see something in Canelo specially after the John Ryder fight.
Funny thing is that there are a lot of individuals in the boxing community that say Crawford can win. I say funny because one of them is his former manager Oscar dela Hoya.
But we all know where Oscar is coming from, and it seems that he is still hurt when Canelo severe his tie with him.
Seriously though, it boils down on the result of the Charlo against Canelo fight.
If Canelo wins, then maybe we can see his fighting Crawford next.

Looks like Logan Paul’s fiancée managed to get the court to grant her a restraining order against Dillon Danis. This should stop all the picture posting that Danis has been doing on twitter (X). It’s a pretty embarrassing thing for everyone involved but for Dillon it probably hurts as he can no longer use her to get views and getting paid via social media ads.

I am going to agree with @Yamifoud that this fight is going to be beneficial for Canelo. So he should definitely take the fight. The fight is also going to generate a lot of money. I believe that is going to improve his popularity a lot more. He is surly going to get a highlight reel if he takes the fight. Crawford is not going to be good enough to beat him in my opinion.

But I actually think that this is going to be good for both the fighters as they are getting a lot of money. Even for Crawford I don’t think he has anything to lose. He is going to get a good amount of money anyway. And if he loses it will be actually expected by a lot of people.

Yes, and it will be a big challenge on the part of Crawford though, again as we said, he will be going up in 3 weight classes and facing one of the best Super middle weight, not just in this era.
But I like the what BoMac has said, he will also take this as an opportunity, on how he will outsmart Canelo's trainer which is Eddy Reynoso.
So this is not like just a fight for this boxers, but for their trainer as well. BoMac outsmart Derrick James when Crawford beat Spence.
And BoMac could be running for a obvious Trainer of the Year with that victory.

It hasn't been done before, so for now we can say that he has 0% to win against a Canelo Alvarez at 168 lbs, his prime weight. Heck even the 154 lbs in Charlo, who talks that he can beat Canelo, might be in a big surprised to see him in the ring. He is taller, but Canelo is well built and we haven't seen anyone crack that chin. So the odds are stack up against Crawford.

As for the trainer of the year, yes, back to back wins, first Crawford and then last weekend Eubank Jr over Liam Smith. Although there were news reports that BoMac was stop at the airport because the security find some guns on his luggage.

Mate, I love Bud to beat Canelo but it is very hard to imagine a 36-year-old moving up 2 divisions in 5 months if it happens in a Cinco De Mayo weekend. In total, that's 3 divisions north in less than a year. Bud will be slower and Canelo will crush him.

BoMac might get the Trainer of the Year here in 2023 since he had another solid win last weekend although it was not a title fight. His new fighter Chris Eubank Jr. made sweet revenge by beating Liam Smith in their rematch. But the fat man made his own headlines, he was arrested in the airport on his way home to the US after security found a loaded gun and ammunition in his baggage. Cheesy

I see nothing wrong with Spence hiring another coach because it is normal. He will learn more by shifting to other coaches. The issue however is he won't be having an easy tune-up with his new coach as he will be doing a rematch against Terrence Crawford. And I agree with @Kemarit since Roy Jones is not a proven good coach.
It won't help him in his situation if he does that now mainly that he just activated that rematch clause, and a new trainer might just lower his chances even more instead of rectifying their mistakes during the first encounter. He can do that soon after this but for now, he has to deal the cards that are dealt to him.

There is a rumor floating around that Errol Spence had broken his ties with long time trainer Derrick James.
Again, this is just a rumor and could be fake news, but we all know that when fighters suffer their first defeat, they usually change trainers.
Just like with Anthony Joshua. And they said that the replacement will be Roy Jones. But that's where it gets interesting as Roy Jones for me is not a good trainer.
This is not good for Spence if this is true, if he is going to change it should be a trainer that is better than his current trainer, it will take a lot of time for both of them to familiarize each other they will need a tune-up fight first to fully familiarize or if Roy Jones style and method is suited for Spence.
Spence I believe is devastated he will not think of changing his trainer if he is not, They have gone a long way, and the loss in fact is a big challenge for both of them to improve, Derrick James' replacement just proved that Spence is ready to take a risk just to get even with Crawford.
It might and might not work for Spence if he switch coaches specially in a rematch. And it's true, and so as almost all other sports. It will be the coaches that will get the blame if a team or a individual losses a hight stake game.

So for me it's a bad move for Spence. Just stick with Derrick James, this is just his first lost under James and maybe also Derrick learn a lot from the first fight. James also become trainer of the year as well, so his credentials speak for himself. Pacquiao didn't change trainer when he lost, but instead him and coach Freddie try to improved in their next fights.

I looked it up and it seems to me that it's just a fake news meant to destroy their credibility or something like that, and I saw a video in YouTube that somewhat explains Spence's camp current issue. Other than that, if this thing were true, at all, there should be some articles made already saying that Spence severed his ties with his long-time trainer, Derrick James.

But since there aren't any, then it's quite safe to say that this rumor is not true at all. I'd say that it's a bold one yet a bad move if Spence is going to find another trainer and he doesn't need any of that at this point of his career specially if he's looking forward for a rematch against Crawford.

Without a concrete evidence or public announcement it will remain as rumor, I agree with you in terms of trying to prepare himself in a possible rematch, he needed someone who already been there for him and already witness what happened to the last matchup, they just need to create a strategy that may fit to counter Crawford's sets of combination.

More on the side where it's better to assume that they are just creating this or the media might just use this to keep the hype alive
so when a rematch got negotiated, both camps are still in the same levels of hypes.

Yes, about that. I've heard that Errol Spence already activated the rematch against Terence Crawford and that it will happen at 154 pounds.
Now, are there any details about their future fight? Because I'm thinking that there might be some troubles on their timeline as Crawford is now waiting for the winner of Charlo-Canelo fight.

Charlo vs Canelo is Sept 30, so for sure there will be no fights for them for this year as it is very close date for them. While Crawford vs Spence might be at the end of this year. So most likely if Crawford wins again, and that is what we are thinking, then maybe by May or Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican holiday, then that will be the good fight date for Canelo vs Crawford, if ever Canelo wins against Charlo.

So there are a lot of good dates and I don't think they will have a trouble finding when the fight is if ever a Crawford vs Canelo will happen for us boxing fans. So let's see first what will be the terms for the rematch and I'm seeing it happening before the end of this year, probably December.

First experienced as they both think that they've got superiorities and for sure losing is really something that they did not expect,

I agree that changing trainer while preparing for a rematch might affect the system which they already have, they need to find ways to
make sure that they have a better chance of winning.

Spence and his trainer need to work together, and they need to be open to whatever the outcome.
