There could be some translations, but I don't know how effective could have been if they really understand each other perfectly. I still remember Broner giving Marcos Maidana a lot of trash talking but then during weigh-in but Broner face has no emotions because simply he don't speak English and so he doesn't understand what Broner is trying to say.

You mean Maidana showed no emotion... But in that fight, that's where the career of Broner got ruined because Maidana humiliated him with his vicious attacks. However, Shakur is different because he is at the top level. When Maidana fought Broner, he already had Mayweather as a problem in their fight prior to that, so we can say that he really is a great boxer.

So, it's a go. But isn't this fight happening tomorrow? So, it's not yet the weekend, unless we have a different timezone. But anyway, thanks for the update. Although this fight isn't as hype as the fights of the KO artist, I'm interested to see how De Los Santos would solve the problems Shakur's opponents have faced in the past.

That's a wild imagination, my friend. But of course, we never know what could happen here. As Shakur is a proven winner, he would easily win through points since he is quicker. However, if he looks to impress the fans and not be tagged as a boring fighter like Haney, then he should probably go for the knockout win against a boxer who's never been KO'd.

Yes, it will be more exciting if Edwin will go and engage and not just talk about it but in the actual fight he is not doing it. However, he hasn't face a opponent as clever or having that high boxing IQ like Stevenson. So it's good to bet that this fight might not go to distance as Stevenson might break Delos Santos in the middle to championship round.

But in any case anyone from Dominican Republic wanted to support their boy and to make history, then yeah, why not go for it and see how Edwin will do and win it for his country and make history. However, for experience bettor, as you have said, it could be a dominant win by Stevenson and uses his counter to negate what Delos Santos can offer and then the fight going into distance like a snore feast.

Yes it's confirmed they do have a partnership, he is the latest athlete to sign up with Reebok, with this partnership this verified Shakur's status as a superstar in boxing, let's see if he will live up to expectation of his sponsor, yes he will be a huge favorite against Delos Santos but his superstar status will be challenged by the likes of Gervonta Davis, Haney, Romero, Lopez and Garcia he will need to beat them to attain a legit status in this era.
I'm sure Shakur can deal Delos Santos, I just wish Delos Santos will give Shakur a good fight and not just a stepping stone for Shakur's greatness.

Yup, at least they will give us a good fight as most probably the underdog will lose here as Stevenson is a clever boxer and him being the loser is a slim possibility. I'm hoping that De Los Santos would engage and take the fight to Shakur because if not, this could become a snore feast as the latter is more of a counter-puncher.

Bookies predict that this would end up in a decision so i'm really hoping that this would not be a boring fight.
