De Los Santos is still a huge underdog 7:1 against Shakur. So in paper it really looks the Edwin has a good record and could be pull some upsets. But based on the odds by the sport makers, that is not the case. Shakur will be too good for De Los Santos that we there is no value in betting for Shakur unless you are willing to throw huge money on him.

And as we already know, Navarette is also in the undercard here against Conceicao. But the odds is still the same, Robson is 7:1 underdog too.

It's just a week before this fight, so obviously, it's better to look for more value in our bets.

Fighters that we think are going to be underdogs are underdogs come Sunday it will be regular boxing day, where the favorites will dominate or even knock out the underdogs but I'm hoping for a very different scenario, like a huge upset or the underdogs putting up a valiant effort even thought they lose by decision, one case here is the Ngannou - Fury recent fight where we all thought its another favorite underdog scenario, but Ngannou putting a major surprise.
I hope to see this happens in any of the fight this Sunday, just a gallant effort from the underdogs is already good.
People are paying to have a good fight so I hope we'll see something unexpected come Sunday

^^ If I'm not mistaken, during Manny Pacquiao's reign he has a deal with Nike and I remember him having a Philippine flag shoe. However, the deal was cut when Manny made some controversial statement.

Anyhow, it's just 2 weeks before this fight and we are going to see the face-off next week and we will finally see if Stevenson can continue his run and become a champion as he has been chasing them at 135 lbs. For sure Devin Haney could be in the crowd to watch the fight live and see first hand how good Shakur and what will be their strategy if ever their face each other in the future.

Everyone looks for for Stevenson right now as there are news that he had a partnership with a shoe company-Reebok. Not sure if I've heard partnership deals before as far as boxing shoe goes, it's mostly on basketball and other sports.

But with this one, Stevenson is breaking grounds and it just proved the hype around him with this partnership.

And maybe this is just a precedent for other great boxers too to be paid by this big shoe company like Nike and Adidas.

Fight is getting closer as well, everyone should be excited to see this second week of November. The odds hasn't change a bit, Shakur is still the favorite and I don't think we are going to see some swings as the fight goes closer.

No, there won't be any changes in the odds because it's not a team game. If one boxer is injured, the fight will either be postponed or, in the worst case, canceled. As expected, Stevenson is listed as the heavy favorite with only 1.08 odds. It may not be very attractive, but if you look at the bright side, it's almost like guaranteed money in this fight.

Currently, the odds are as follows:

Stevenson 1.08
De Los Santos 6.80

Over 10.5 rounds 1.22
Under 10.5 rounds 3.85

Under 10.5 rounds is very attractive odds indeed, but it's a long shot as it seems that Delos Santos is going to be a tough customer for Stevenson. There is no decision win by Shakur though, I was wondering why casinos are not yet listed that, at least on the favorite casinos that I'm betting.

So I might want to wait for that, if the odds will be like 1.8x something, maybe I will go with that one.

Obviously, ML is not worth it, Or for those who wanted to think that there will be an upset, then everything on Delos Santos will be good. Or at least throw some money on him just for sake of that good odds for him to win.

Looking at how De Los Santos moves, I believe Stevenson can score an easy knockdown against De Los Santos.  De Los Santos is left very open every time he throws his punches.  See the videos, his hands are too far for defense when he throws power punches.  I think this kind of defense will be easily exploited by Stevenson so I believe that Stevenson will win this fight via knockout.

Yes you are right that mate and we all know how smart Stevenson is so without a doubt that he has  the high percentage of winning in this fight against de Los santos. But one thing for sure delos Santos will have a new technique as we all know that once he use his old one then delos Santos have a chance being knock out by Stevenson. An that's must be in delos Santos training, this fight is worth To be watch so hoping that there's no cancelation of this .

This pops on my social media, Stevenson is fuming mad about "Suga" Sean O'Malley, UFC's bantamweight champion. It seems that Sean wanted to fight Shakur? Recently we have seen Francis Ngannou almost upsets Tyson Fury.

Since a crossover fight has some big profit, they are making some drama to hype the fans and make it seem like they have a beep until they finally meet in the ring. This is just business and I can't blame them if they wanted to have such a fight since they are still in their prime and their popularity is quite high, they are using it to make money and that's just how the way it is for them. It's obvious that they are hoping to fight in the Middle East as well where the payment is a juicy and life-changing opportunity.

This is also what I'm thinking when I saw news about Suga O'Malley mentioning Shakur Stevenson as his possible opponents in the future. I mean he wanted to follow the footsteps of no less than Conor McGregor who become one of the most successful MMA fighter who did go over boxing and fight Floyd Mayweather.

And perhaps this is a insurance for him that if he will ever retire from MMA, then maybe he could find a worthy opponent in the future that could bring him money. And currently, Shakur is very hot so why not Suga uses his name and hype it?

If only Dana is paying its fighters at least half of what boxing stars are given then maybe its fighters won't dream about getting humiliated and knocked out in a boxing fight. All of them want that big money of course. The Pink Poodle is still under a UFC contract but I am sure that once it is coming to its end he will start to negotiate with the big names in boxing like Shakur and Tank.

I am happy that Ngannou got those big bucks. And another round of at least $10 million is on the way since he only lost to a very close fight with Fury which means the demand continues. So far both Matchroom and PBC are vying for their bids on Ngannou to match him against their own stars AJ and Wilder. But as much as I like Ngannou to score an upset over Fury, I still believe that he just had the perfect night while the champion had his worst night. I'm sticking to my earlier assessment that Ngannou can't still beat any of the top 10 in boxing.

Most likely, and we have seen some successful crossover fight too, so it make sense for O'Malley to call out Shakur but I don't think that this fight is going to happen as both as very busy conquering their own division in their respective sports. An as fans of Shakur, I think he is very motivated and focus to become undisputed champion at 135 lbs and this is just his first step, to fight De Los Santos this November.

Sean O'Malley still holds the belt in the UFC so why would he want to fight Shakur Stevenson and when this fight does happen but Sean loses it will embarrass him.
In contrast to the Ngannou vs Fury fight it is clear that it is a worthy fight in fact from that fight Ngannou managed to enter the ranking of the 10 best boxers from the WBC.

Quote
But it's very different though, I mean Shakur is in his prime and Sean doesn't have that power in my opinion. So Shakur might be right, this MMA fighters should just stay in their lane as not all of them can cross over to the Boxing world or beat a great boxer.
From what Shakur Stevenson said this is correct because Sean could not have just entered the boxing ring and fought him.
It requires quite lot of experience and also series of training that Sean must undergo if he wants to fight Shakur, and even then it is not certain that Sean can win.

I might be seeing another Crawford vs Spence fight. Shakur likes to play like Crawford, while for me De los Santos fights like Spence. So it's a copy fight and we all know how it ended. De los Santos is a good boxer with power, but Shakur will figure it out how to beat him, and uses his boxing IQ. So maybe it's going to be +7.5 rounds, with Shakur winning by KO/TKO. But still though, this is a great fight and we will see Shakurs skills and technique.

This is a different kind of fight – a champion versus a non-champion. That bout between Spence and Crawford was an undisputed fight, while in this case, Shakur isn't facing a world champion. So, I'm not setting my expectations too high for this one. It seems like it could be more of a tune-up fight for Shakur.

Maybe a little similar in the way that De Los Santos has to be the aggressor here and try hard to land his big shots on Shakur. Shakur is the one to use his footwork to stay away from engaging and use his skills to hit and not get hit.
Yeah, and this is what I'm trying to say, the aggressive and style of Delos Santos, he want's to take the lead by Shakur might counter him all day. Just like in the Spence vs Crawford fight. Wherein it started as a chess game, but when Spence was making a lot of mistakes as he try to be the aggressor, Crawford take advantage of it and eventually score a knock down that change the complexion of the fight.

But in terms of experience, Shakur might be fighting only the 2nd time in this division but the experience difference is just too wide. Shakur is a silver medalist in the Olympics, a 2 division champion, a 1-time lineal champ, and a unified champion. While he is a regular 135 fighter, this is the first time De Los Santos is fighting a 12-round event let alone his first championship fight.

So I have the feeling that De Los Santos gets tired in the middle of the fight and that is when Shakur tries to stop him.
I think Delos Santos will go and opt for being the aggressor here, he can't just laid back and let Shakur be the aggressor. He has a tough chin as well so he will go early. So it's going to be a good battle, while Shakur picking up his shots while Delos Santos is coming in. For sure him though have work with that gas and stamina. He needed that if this fight will go full 12 rounds.

Shakur I think can KO Haney too. It's Tank that he might not be able to last.
Shakur has the skill but we haven't really seen him fight someone who can maneuver him, Shakur always wants to fight from a distance. A prime Pacman or prime Loma would be his very nightmare actually. But definitely, Davis can be Shakurs defeat too.

It's because he has superior foot work, I think the closest that he fought with a good lateral movement is Oscar Valdez. But he defeat Valdez easy, he even have multiple knock down scores against Valdez. So it's not that he doesn't face good boxers, he has just a lot of tools in his tool box to beat anyone in the division. We can't compare his fight against prime Pacman or even Loma. But we might see him and Loma fight though, both are under Top Rank and that Loma wanted to take a rest after a close decision lost to Devin Haney.

Speaking of Haney, he will be having his 140 lbs debut against Regis Prograis. So we will see if Regis can break the chin of Haney as you have said, Shakur might KO him. So it's a good test for Haney to fight one of the best power puncher at welterweight.

Probably why he does tune-up after tune-up when he could really challenge Haney already before this fight is set. He must be waiting or Haney vs Davis.

It's because according to him, they are ducking him. If you go back a few conversations back, Frank Martin was his original opponent, they agreed already. But in the last minute Martin doesn't want to agree on financial terms. Haney suddenly goes up to 140 lbs after defeating Loma.

Loma says no, George Kambosos, former unified champion doesn't want to fight Haney as well. So it's not like he wanted to fight for tune-up after tune-up, it's that no one wanted to fight him.

Yes, it could be that scenario that Edwin will try to go and make Shakur not comfortable in the becoming. So he could be the aggressor and try to test how good Shakur are, specially avoiding that power of De Los Santos early. Or if he is hit, then how he will react, he has proven his chin so far, but we are now sure if the power of a natural 135 lbs can have a effect of him.

But in terms of experience, Shakur might be fighting only the 2nd time in this division but the experience difference is just too wide. No doubt about it, in terms of experience, Shakur has the advantage as he faces a lot of great boxers as well in the past. And the weight though, it seems that he is very comfortable now at 135 lbs, no more weight training and I think it will have a positive effect on him.

And with that, I'm expecting a great win by Shakur to cemented his position as the best 135 lbs, next to Devin Haney, on the strength that Haney is the undisputed champion at this weight class.

De Los Santos needs to work on his quickness if he hopes to catch Shakur. Shakur is a slick fighter with lots of evasive movements, making it tough to land hits on him. It's going to be a challenging task for De Los Santos, but in boxing, nothing is impossible, especially for a fighter with a strong desire to win. This fight presents an opportunity for bettors to place their money on De Los Santos if they believe he has a chance to win.

Edwin De Los Santos is +700

He might have to rely on his power, and again, we have seen power puncher just fell in love with their power and if it is not working they don't have any plan B. So hopefully this is not the case for Edwin De Los Santos.

Shakur obviously has the experience here, and just reiterating that he shouldn't underestimate his opponent just because he is rank like number 6 if I'm not mistaken. We've been saying that Shakur could take over the 135 lbs starting with this fight. But he has to show us something and to all fighters in this weight class, specially Haney. As this is the fight the Shakur wanted next, Haney as the unified champion here. And then he is also calling Loma (perhaps it was good to have Loma in someone's resume).
