I see majority of users are think his fight will be close and it's 50/50, the good news is if you bet Ryan Garcia to win the odds is high for 2.85 in money line option. If I was a Ryan Garcia's fan, I will bet in the money line option since the odds is juicy enough. But since I think Tank will win in this fight, the money line odds is small, I will risk my bet to bet Tank by decision. I expect it will be a good fight just when Tank fought Isaac Cruz.

Wagering for Tank to win by decision is really not that bad and that odds of 5.80, it is reasonable as well considering the fact that both boxers are known for their KO punches that most of the time ended their respective fights but, in this case, I also think that it will likely end in a decision regardless of who will win because both boxers will be in a defensive mode most of the time as they couldn't take that much risks to give each other a chance to land a clean shot that will likely end the fight and will result into a KO/TKO.

I also anticipating that kind of strategy, adjustment is needed for both fighters as both of them will wait for an error from one
another, a slight opening can put them in danger losing the fight.

Both are known as KO orchestrator for sure both camps are considering the defensive strategy not to allow their opponents to gain momentum.

Though fans will aim to see toe-to-toe confrontations, but bettors will be happy with such a huge odd for a decision result.
And it's not just us because surely, both camps are already looking into it even before this fight materialized officially. I reckon that both parties already did their research how to adjust from each other's weaknesses and strengths and they are now on the phase of preparation according to their master plan. So yes, this might be full of defensive maneuvers while waiting who will first have the error.

It will be good for us but not good for them as that's just too risky on their part, so it's somehow unlikely if I would say.

I just watched 2 videos stating the reasons why Davis can beat Garcia and vice versa. Will just share it here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruzT-Cp-9PY - Why Davis will beat Garcia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17j5CEMSq5A - Why Garcia will beat Davis

I mean before I watched the video, like what others are thinking here, I'm also leaning to the fact that Davis will win on this one because of how good he is in the ring. Add also the fact that he's been with Mayweather for a decade so they are kind of the same. Now that I watched both, I find myself on a state where I'm thinking again who will win on this one.

It's hard to pick especially both of them are rising stars. Many are waiting for this match to happen. Since we will not see Beterbiev vs. Bivol this year (probably), this will be a candidate for the fight of the year. So excited as well for this fight.
Both videos have a good analysis of how both fighters measure up to their past opponents and their advantages in their previous wins but I always believe in what Mike Tyson says about plans and advantages in actual fights, and that is
Quote
You have a plan until you get hit in the face.
everybody boxer has a plan on how to beat his opponent, but everything changes when you get hit in the face.
What I'm sure of is both fighters will bait each other to land his best punch so he can give his best shot, it is about landing the best shot I don't think anyone of them is training to last the 12 rounds, they are training to get their best shot at the right spot.

But since I think Tank will win in this fight, the money line odds is small......
The majority of bettors think that Tank Davis will win. However, we can never be too sure, as Ryan Garcia also has the power to knock out an opponent. In this fight, one punch can change the complexion of the game. So even if Garcia is an underdog now, once he is ahead in the fight, he might be able to knock out a KO artist like Davis.

I'm so excited to watch this highly anticipated fight. It's less than 2 months away, so it's coming up very soon.

Has anyone here subscribed to a PPV service? How much did you pay?

In every match, we can never be sure of the winner as we have no idea how prepared they are inside the ring.
It is understandable that a lot are rooting for Davis here, even bookies are going for Davis.
And since Garcia knows about being the underdog of this fight, he will have the motivation to sincerely prepare for this fight.
His mission is to fight Davis, and he knows possible consequences if he will lose to him. So that's a good challenge for his boxing career.

And to add that statement, I bet that both camps are preparing more to improve their defense tactics and learn another thing or two about the counter-punch because that will be their best option to avoid a clean punch. Being on the offensive mode will surely not help both camps as that will just pave a way to end the fight much earlier than what they expected it to be and as you said, it will be a waiting game of who will make an error first.

A toe-to-toe fight will be a good sight to see for sure but that's highly unlikely especially on the side of Ryan Garcia as he is already known to crack easily compared to Tank.

Also, the promoters should rent Las Vegas Raiders' Allegiant stadium, have a big screen and let everyone pay $100 per person to watch the fight hehehe.
Well, that's a first if that indeed happens but they should swap the venue though because Allegiant Stadium can hold more people compared to T-Mobile Arena.

That's quite too much for him to say especially that he ain't got the WBA world title belt, or any of those existing belts that is now possessed by the undisputed champion, Devin Haney. And he's saying and comparing himself towards Canelo Alvarez? Grin Boy, I know you got talents but you still have a long way to go and that's for sure.

Yes, Tank Davis is the favorite but I think forum users also might go for Garcia by an upset.

Because we all know that this two can put each other on the canvass.

There are some who believe that Ryan Garcia can win this fight. It's common to see the favorites have a lot of supporters, but we can never know for sure. Both fighters are KO artists, so anything can happen in the ring. As long as both are preparing well for this fight, it will be unpredictable.

My advice is to just enjoy the fight, watch it, and don't forget to bet.

However, if you are looking for very attractive betting odds, then the only way to go is to bet on Ryan Garcia.

Yeah, anything can happen in a fight, of course, Ryan has more supporters but I think Davis too has die hard fans that are going to bet on him and watch  this fight live.

So anything goes for this two, and again, that one punch can be so decisive in this fight. Specially if the fight is so close, and the one that can score a knockdown will have the advantage if this goes to the judges scorecard.

Very unpredictable indeed but that's what make this fight very exciting.

^ With the fight hype like this, they would really want a rematch and Golden Boy wants its space for it. I think no matter who wins they will have a rematch. And If I would read between the lines here. They will deliberately set the fight just enough to make it fun and exciting yet also disappointing to consider a rematch.

I reckon a rematch will only be negotiated if the lead promoter's fighter, the favorite Tank Davis loses through a knockout. Another possibility of a rematch no matter who wins, is if the fight is very exciting and both Tank, King Ry are shown to be equals in the ring, very much similar to Inoue vs. Donaire 1. However, if Ryan Garcia is knocked out, there will certainly not be a rematch.

Yeah, that might fit the scenario of a rematch and it could have been very well in the rematch clause already. Could be a draw or the decision very controversial that we are split whether the decision is right or wrong.

Or in any case, we should wait for the fight, just this first fight alone will generate 8 figures for this two fighters.

We will have have to see if it will live up to the hype that we are expecting. Even though that there are no belts on the line, the atmosphere might be similar to big fights in the past like Alvarez vs GGG I or even Manny vs Floyd.

<<>> so that they didn't knock down easier.
I've seen Ryan Garcia getting knocked down, but he came back strong and beat his opponent. However, I haven't seen the same from Tank Davis in his previous fights. That's why people are thinking that Tank Davis might hurt Ryan Garcia and he won't be able to stand up. But I see it differently; it convinces me of how strong Ryan Garcia's chin is.

Yeah, it's really a good show by Garcia when he was able to get back from the canvass and beat Luke Campbell with a body shot. So he has been tested and pass it although we can't compare the power of Luke and Tank. What if Tank hit Garcia with the same left hook, maybe he will won't get up or maybe he will, we will have to see in this fight.

With Ryan Garcia having the reach and height advantage, he should use it effectively to have the edge over a very smart fighter and KO artist. I'm pretty sure they are practicing their respective strategies to score a knockout. There's no way this fight will reach the judges' scorecards.

If he will know how to used that advantage then good for Ryan, but as Davis said, he is used to fighting bigger guys so again, gonna be interesting how the fight will go with Ryan using his height and reach and then Tank, contend with countering and looking for that one big shot that might change the complexion of the game. And so far as far as betting goes, Davis is the favorite and so Ryan will really have to play smart and have a lot of aces in his sleeves.

...Anyone though was surprised to see Leonard Ellerbe on the background? The guy with that white beard, he is Floyd's CEO and we all know that Davis didn't renew his contract with Floyd. But according to the news, he will be training at Floyd's gym in Las Vegas, so I guess everything is really cool between the two camps despite Davis no longer under Floyd. And I think it is a advantage for Tank, at least he has someone more experience behind him. And who knows, Floyd might drop to his own gym and still mentor Tank because this is the biggest fight of his career, both of them including Ryan. Goosen's training gym is in LA, so most likely Ryan will train there as he is from California.

So looking at boxing's top librarian Boxrec, Mayweather Promotions is part of this event along with GBP (Ryan Garcia's promoter). TGB is probably the lead promoter here since Brown is always in the middle during pictorials and is usually the promoter tabbed by most PBC events.

Tank probably remained a promotional-free agent like Canelo and is free to fight under any promotions. PBC is the real promoter anyways so if Tank has a managerial contract and wants to continue working with Al then he doesn't really need a promotional contract that will take a portion of his events profits.

Yes, it certainly seems like it to me as well because Tom Brown of the TGB Promotions is also mentioned first whenever they advertise this fight while Oscar of the GBP is the co-promoter. And for Tank Davis being a promotional-free agent, he might sign under Al Haymon of the PBC but I'm under the impression that Tank Davis is also looking forward to build his own promotional company as the name GTD Promotions which is also his logo.

He might be routing to that, I mean with such indication it's simply showing that he wanted to have his own promotions, if he
continue his way, winning against Garcia, the chance to bring more hypes under his name.

A very good promotion for his desire next destination. It's no longer new to this sport as we see more legends who use their names to
start their own promotion business.

Moving back, the fight is nearing and for sure we will hear and read more trash talks.

That said, we might see Tank Davis making his own promotional banner sooner or later but considering his current situation, that might have to wait as well because he cannot really move freely if he will be sentenced this coming May. We will know about Davis's sentencing sometime later but for now, let's just enjoy this upcoming fight first because this is one of the most exciting and most awaited fights since last year. I'm just glad that these guys were able to materialize it for the sake of giving entertainment for the boxing fans and to settle their rivalry as well.

This is what I said before that every fighter will be take this fight seriously it because both of them are good in the ring which means both of them have a chance to win the match and also you are right that they are KO artist they can easily Knockdown thier opponent once they found an good opening. So they need to practice harder and have a good technique so that they didn't knock down easier.

Tank Davis also mentioned in interviews that Ryan has earn his place already and he deserved to face him. (Whatever he means by that, it's open for interpreration), maybe moving forward he is going to be selective of his opponents or whoever he wants to face for the money.

Maybe he thinks he is the king and Ryan Garcia is just the top challenger for him. However, that's still underestimating his opponent because despite both being champs, Davis sees himself on a higher level. I hope Ryan Garcia will prove Davis wrong and show him that his current thoughts are incorrect.

Probably he thinks that both of them are in the top of the division although they don't really have the belt since Haney has everything under his waist. But as far as being the biggest crowd drawer in the 135 lbs, yeah, this two are on top.

So props for them to set up this fight when they are still in their prime, not when they are old and the hype are gone already.

Both are hungry and going to put their 0 on the line.

this is the good thing about this fight, both wanted this fight especially for garcia. however, don't know what will happen next if garcia loses to davis. his career may be put on hold and look for other top boxers to fight with.
in any case, i can understand if garcia is the underdog here. most forum users are also rooting for davis to win this fight.

He might continue his career to 140 lbs, but the might might not be the same as when he doesn't have any losses. And someone is really going to be exposed in this fight, whether just a hype or be the next cash cow in boxing.

There are top challengers are well, we obviously have the champion in Devin Haney. But it seems that this two are really destined to fight each other, for the respect and obviously for the money itself.

So it's time for ticket scalpers again, Lol, for sure there are fans willing to spend that huge money to pay underground even if the price could be x2 as what @bbc.reporter pointed out.

Absolutely mate tank Davis believe himself that he is the king of his division. And without a doubt we can say that it because what we saw his previous matches he proves to us that he is tank Davis the real champion and no one can beat him up. But in this juncture Ryan Garcia bring himself to the ring and want to say that he can defeat Tank Davis even if not in a knockout but at least he will win. And the best question for this is can Tank Davis will win or Ryan Garcia will overtake The tank .
Probably it's how we define champion now, as I have said, Haney is the champion but his style is boring for fight fans.

On the other hand, we have hard hitter like Davis, who fought as high as 140 lbs and beat the champion in Barrios although others says that it's a strategy to fight the weak champion. And same with Ryan, fighter other names at 135 lbs, but nevertheless he has no belt but he is a crowd drawer because is their "social media" champion.

So Haney as champion but he is not a crowd pleaser as compare to Tank and Ryan Garcia more exciting as they fight and go after a knockout.
