PPV and obviously the live gates where the money will come in, and they are guarantee to have millions already. So yes this could be one of the biggest fights for the year and who knows, could be fight of the year if both of them left their hands go and fight till they take each other's head.

And the hype is already there, all they have to do is create more drama in their face-off, which they did already and that's why the tickets have been sold already. Only contention is the PPV numbers I guess and there are a lot of speculations on how much they will get either in US or worldwide, but I think it will still be big numbers.

If they sell out the arena, they will undoubtedly make a lot of money in ticket sales. Just imagine the price of those tickets

How much do tickets for Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia cost?
Tickets for Davis vs. Garcia start at $729, per TicketSmarter.

Prices then range from $800, $900, $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, $4,000, $5,000, $6,000, $8,000, $10,000, and $11,731.
https://www.sportingnews.com/us/boxing/news/gervonta-davis-vs-ryan-garcia-ticket-prices-las-vegas/h7dvl5lqvkxbzhtjmjb334lo

Only true boxing fans would be interested in attending the fight in person. While the ticket prices may be expensive, there will undoubtedly be people willing to pay the price to witness these two great boxers face off in the ring.

It's already sold out so they say. It's not surprising because this fight had been hyped for awhile even when the dates are not finalized yet.
$729 might just be the people who will use the binoculars to watch the fight. I would rather not watch even if I am a fan of the two. Not gonna be worth it.
Oh, that's great news! Do they have any numbers yet on how much they've made from the sold-out tickets? I would estimate at least $10 million, but please correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't know the total seating capacity of the venue.

I am rooting for Ryan this time for 3x the profit with the small amount. I have some doubts because Tank may also hit KO Ryan.
I feel the same way. I like that people are hyping up Davis, but I don't like that they're hating on Garcia just because of the way he talks. I don't look at that, instead, I look at his performance in the ring, and I believe that he has a shot at beating Tank Davis. So, I'm all for King Ry.

Well, this is going to be the biggest fight of the year as the PPV sales are sold in just five minutes, it's worth the hype and many years of wait I don't have the figure yet I saw this drop in my social media feed, what I'm sure of is it will surpasses all the other PPV before the fight happens, we will see many more videos of thrash talks because I doubt this two will stop, because the hatred and the dislike are real.

That was really expected considering these two are currently at their prime time and currently at their very best without injury the fight is also hard to predict because they are both capable of surprising their opponent with their fast and huge power punches. I wonder where else they could get money aside from PPV in this fight? is this the fullest money they can make when they sold it out?

Big fight with that long-awaited trash talks from Garcia, now is the best time to make things happen, for Davis it might interest him
to show to the world that those talking is just a hallucination,

It will be tough for Garcia to put it in action but who knows just like what you said both fighters can throw solid punches that if in case landed to one
another it can result to a KO.

Let see who's the fighter that will win between these two great and still in prime fighter.

And so as expected, the tickets have been sold-out. Anyone though was surprised to see Leonard Ellerbe on the background? The guy with that white beard, he is Floyd's CEO and we all know that Davis didn't renew his contract with Floyd. But according to the news, he will be training at Floyd's gym in Las Vegas, so I guess everything is really cool between the two camps despite Davis no longer under Floyd. And I think it is a advantage for Tank, at least he has someone more experience behind him. And who knows, Floyd might drop to his own gym and still mentor Tank because this is the biggest fight of his career, both of them including Ryan. Goosen's training gym is in LA, so most likely Ryan will train there as he is from California.

There is also a second face to face, and still both of them touches each other chin, no pushing or something of any physical thought, it's more of their mouth running on each other faces.

I don't like Oscar though saying that this could be bigger than Oscar vs Floyd that time and it could break their 2.4 PPV records.

What other thinks of the PPV numbers of this fight though? will it be close to 1M? I doubt that they can get to that numbers.

Same here, I doubt that they could reach the 1M mark knowing that both of them came from the same country, I mean their fan base is in the US unlike when one of the fighters has a fan base outside of the US then it's expected that PPV buys would be higher.

I don't if this is true but i've read that tickets for this fight are already sold out if they are telling the truth then probably this scenario could increase the PPV buys. Both of the protagonists of this fight are in their prime but which regards to experience and marketability, that's the aspect that they are lacking as of this time.

And I don't know if you have noticed it though, the number of PPV buys are dwindling every year, maybe once reason is that many are streaming it illegally. And again, don't quote me on this, even Canelo vs GGG trilogy didn't sell that much as expected in the PPV.

Unlike before, Floyd, Manny and Oscar can easily put 1 Million buys during their prime.

And they have a lot of fights that goes into the 300,000-500,000 or more PPV very easy. Even if their opponents are not that known.

That's one problem in this era, everyone can share their streams like in many Facebook users, and they simply ask for the tip. So instead of buying like $70.00, which is very expensive this days, you can just tip the guy 10$ and off you go.

Canelo vs Golovkin buys is:

Quote
according to Dan Rafael, DAZN reported that Canelo vs. Golovkin III in the United States sold between 550 and 570 million homes, half of the first two fights. Disappointing numbers that were not expected.

https://www.marca.com/en/boxing/2022/09/22/632bb7b6268e3e52178b45a1.html

So best estimates with this kind of magnitude will be around that numbers or less.

1st round almost starts in this face-off. None of them are intimidated though so this is going to be a really good fight. One of them is going to feel the first loss after this.

Ryan has both speed and power which is going to be his biggest advantage here. Keep the distance and throw a counter. Tank knows this will be the strategy, he might just be chasing Ryan.

Both of them are good at counter-punching we never know who's going to chase first I have seen Tank knocking people out opponents while chasing him like in his last fight against Romero, Romero was caught by surprise, and Ryan's chin is big suspect he was somewhat exposed on the Campbell fight its a big concern if Ryan chase tank.
While Tank's body and chin were tested and passed when he fought Pitbull Cruz, it will still go down on who has the better preparation and ring skill, on this area Tank has a slight edge.

Winding down.
I hope Ryan Garcia is really that confident because if it turns out that he is not that ready, he will be heavily criticized by a lot of people for calling Tank Davis to fight him when in-fact he doesn't have what it takes. He needed to prove it and he needed this fight to bring himself in a much higher seed. Forget about the doubters, that is normal because Tank has been on the game first and already proved what he can do.

Ryan Garcia has been calling out everybody hehe, it's just that only Tank Davis has responded. This fight is an acid test for him and if ever he will be knocked out by Tank Davis then he is a fluke, i mean that he doesn't have what it takes to be in the league with the big boys in this division.

In the press conference yesterday, size advantage was very visible for Ryan in the face-off but he has to walk the talk and hope he could utilize his size to his advantage. Some people were saying that Ryan was visibly scared during their first press conference but i don't think so, i think Ryan was just nervous as this is his first time being on a stage with a legit champion for a very big event soon.

Probably because Tank Davis was also interested getting a big payday out of Ryan Garcia because he is not yet getting a shot to have a regular belt as Devin Haney already have opponents queued to him as long as he will win against Lomachenko. The latter called this fight and he is expected to do what he is talking because if he cannot, it's much better for him to be silent because he cannot prove anything except having a tune-up fight.

While for Tank Davis, we can see that he is not backing down with this challenge even if Ryan Garcia got the size advantage. It's not that this is Tank's first fight with boxer who is much taller than him. IQ and experience is much more important.

These days, it's hard to reach 1 million pay-per-view (PPV) buys, but let's see. Maybe Oscar, as a promoter, is just trying to exaggerate things to sell the fight more. The trash-talking between Davis and Garcia will continue to generate hype for this fight, so that should be enough to generate huge sales. However, I'm not sure if they'll be able to hit the 1 million target.

Yes, it is a bit too much for Oscar to compare this fight and his fight against Mayweather back in the day where they sold 2.4 million PPV and set the record as the highest PPV buys until the Mayweather vs McGregor arrived and took their place, leaving a wide gap that might be hard to break in this era because just like what you've said, a million PPV these days are not that easy to get anymore as internet gives people more opportunity to watch the live free.

One millions pay-per,- view (PPV) is quite high which is we all know that these fighters capability but we don't know that thier trash-talking strategy will click and them they hit the target which pretty good enough because expecting crowded venue and then the money they get from tickets will be high also so the promoters of this fight do thier best to hit that. And honestly speaking for me I don't think so if They gonna make it. But maybe its a lot of time for them .
When two great undefeated boxers who hated and had no respect for each other collide that's going to be a big hit, I have seen their press release and they thrash talking and they almost come to a brawl

Tank even poke his hands on Garcia's face, I will not be surprised if they come to a blow and this is something their promoters must watch out the for if one of them gets hurt the fight might be postponed and this is not good, let them do all the talking in the ring there's too much hype already on this fight for the match to get another delay.

Yes you are right that mate one of these two great boxer will be end if to defeat as we all know they need to prove us that they are the champions.  And for tank Davis need to wait a perfect timing in order to defeat Ryan Garcia because we all know that Ryan Garcia has a speed and power that can dominate his opponent so tank Davis will wait and then if he has a chance then throw a good and solid punches .

It's possible this deal did not happen overnight its three or four years in the making both guys have matured inside and outside of the ring and they realize that they need a fight to validate and establish their legacy because checking both fighters, they have not fought boxers that is equal to their popularity and greatness and this is the fight that will validate each other, and there will only be one that can validate his greatness.
Finally all involved get their acts together because they need to give the boxing community or set the trend of great boxers fighting another great fighter, because of what happened to the Crawford - Spence deal, so we'll see if it will reach 1 million but it's possible.
