There is also a second face to face, and still both of them touches each other chin, no pushing or something of any physical thought, it's more of their mouth running on each other faces.

I don't like Oscar though saying that this could be bigger than Oscar vs Floyd that time and it could break their 2.4 PPV records.

What other thinks of the PPV numbers of this fight though? will it be close to 1M? I doubt that they can get to that numbers.

Tank Davis knocks out Ryan Garcia. Garcia is too young and I think he is rushing his career too much and will pay the price. If he loses it will be a big set back in his career and he will find it hard to get the big fights again. I think he should wait until Tank gets older and Garcia can get some important fights in between and try to develop the ring experience he needs to beat a Tank.
Tank is 28 years old and Garcia is 24 years old, I don't think 24 years old is too young, take a look with Mike Tyson where his best performance was at 20-23 years old. It's true they're different, but that's a proof where 24 years isn't too young especially Garcia have started his career when he was at 18 years old. I don't see any excuse about age, reach, or total fights, both of them are similar, it just depends on their skills.
It is not about age because it is about who they fought before, 2 of them are considered as the best boxers in our generation but their past opponents and experience are not the same. In terms of who fought more stronger boxers in the past, it is Tank wherein he fought a lot of champions and he beat them all. While Garcia only fought a 1 powerful fighter which is Luke Campbell where he knocked down once by luke. Both of their hooks and head movements are so smooth and this is a fight between Southpaw vs Orthodox. I'm so excited to see who will win in this war. Tank also said in his past interview that his retirement is coming so for sure he will be a more stronger in this following night. Both camp are training hard and boxing fans are starting to get goosebumps in this match.

I wasn't able to stay up to watch the press conference live because it's like 3:00 AM here when it started, (I just saw Ryan being interviewed alone and then I took a nap).

Their face-off was something you expected because both of them are full of confidence to be the winner in this fight and they cannot stop their trash-talking because this is badly needed to gather as much support as their need for their upcoming fights. though they don't really need that because they are already popular, trash-talking is the most anticipated thing to watch before they step in the ring to fuel their rivalry and excite the fans. they have been calling each other for a fight and now that they finally have the schedule, it will be a total war for these two, and fans from their both respective countries are expectedly the loudest at the stadium.

And the reason why Ryan as just the one person being interviewed in this fight at the supposedly press con time? it's because it was reported that Tank Davis was late for almost 2 hours. Not sure if that is intentional or what or maybe he is trying to play mind games and telling that he is the A-side in this fight.

Nevertheless, Lol, rehydration clause? I know that it's becoming the norm for some fight and this could be the contention that fights fall because it's too much. But Ryan Garcia gave to their demands and probably the ring size too could favor or at least the camp of Davis wanted a bigger or small size.

Yes, I also found out later that Tank Davis is late for the press conference. Not sure if this is intentional on his part though, I will have to check out again his previous press conferences if he has this habit of being late? Maybe it's time to add this to their contract as well that either should not be late in the media as this look unprofessional? hehehe

Anyhow, Tank has an answer to that, he said that he was caught up with the traffic, and he admitted that it is indeed unprofessional on his part, specially this fight of huge magnitude. And he apologizes to the media.

As for the tickets, I thought it has started already, but we need to wait for a couple of hours. There is a timer as well:

https://www.axs.com/events/473623/davis-vs-garcia-tickets

So for those who are stateside, you can see the price.

I hope Ryan Garcia is really that confident because if it turns out that he is not that ready, he will be heavily criticized by a lot of people for calling Tank Davis to fight him when in-fact he doesn't have what it takes. He needed to prove it and he needed this fight to bring himself in a much higher seed. Forget about the doubters, that is normal because Tank has been on the game first and already proved what he can do.

Ryan Garcia has been calling out everybody hehe, it's just that only Tank Davis has responded. This fight is an acid test for him and if ever he will be knocked out by Tank Davis then he is a fluke, i mean that he doesn't have what it takes to be in the league with the big boys in this division.

That is so true, and if I remember correctly, he even have called Manny Pacquiao in the past, and put his image in his twitter account and we thought that this fight is going to happen.

In the press conference yesterday, size advantage was very visible for Ryan in the face-off but he has to walk the talk and hope he could utilize his size to his advantage. Some people were saying that Ryan was visibly scared during their first press conference but i don't think so, i think Ryan was just nervous as this is his first time being on a stage with a legit champion for a very big event soon.

In the beginning there is respect between the two, so I don't think Ryan is scared or what. But in the face off we see that they are talking trash. I read that Tank mentions about Canelo and the mental health of Ryan and questions him about that. And so with that, Ryan just responded by doing those chest gestures, maybe telling Tank that he has the bigger heart and that everything is fine with him.

Trashtalking to sell this fight ain't necessary, they both are well knowned and both good in their own craft. Being as good as both of them will automatically attract boxing fans. I mean, who doesn't want to see a good fighters with both undefeated facing each other to determine who's better. Though, it doesn't end with just one match, a trilogy (if necessary) will finally determine who's really the best.

Both cannot avoid it, they have a dislike for each other, and the feeling is mutual for both of them, have you seen their first press conference something is brewing up, both fighters are each other stepping stones to greatness, and its a legacy fight, something we will all look back ten years from now and see this as a heated and great rivalry.
I like both fighters they can deliver the knockout that they want, it all goes up on who gets hits first and hard, no doubt about their punching power but ring generalship will play a major factor.
The ring generalship of Tank is good and that's what carries him in the Romero fight, but Goosen is on Garcia's corner so I'm sure they dwell on his ring generalship for this match.

trash talking from both sides makes this fight more popular we all know that trash-talking is part of the marketing strategy because we all know how it's gonna work, people around the world fee thrill if both fighter  trashtalking. And that strategies are very effective nowadays. But we we don't need to forget that the one who throw many words are the one who will win because in the final day They will show what they've got.

They definitely want to make more noise, which is why the trash-talking will never end. Ryan Garcia talks a lot, but I'm sure he worked hard for this fight. It cannot be denied that this is the biggest fight of his career. There were a lot of doubters for him in this fight, which is why Davis is the heavy favorite to win. However, it doesn't matter to Garcia as he is so confident that he could knock out Davis.

Yes, they need more noise to market the fight even more as they are targeting the Allegiant Stadium. GBP already said that he is looking forward to hold the fight in the said stadium as he believes that this kind of magnitude will needed a much bigger place to cater all the people who wanted to see the fight live and in-person, the only thing left to make it happen is the people to show some signs that a much bigger place is indeed needed in this fight. Currently, GBP are choosing between T-Mobile or Allegiant.

The Odds has been out in different gambling platforms. Currently, Ryan Garcia has 3.15 ODDS and Tank Davis has 1.32 ODDS. It's obvious that Ryan Garcia is the underdog in this fight, they are both strong and they are both undefeated but someone will get 1 in their both 0 losses. As a bettor and also a fan of boxing, Tank Davis has the upperhand wherein his K.O. rate is so high and his explosiveness is unreal but we cannot underestimate Ryan Garcia because he became pretty famous because of his speed and courage.

As for where will I put my bet between Ryan and Tank, I still not decided and I still researching for me to have conviction on who will I choose. I'll just make sure that the money that I will put is the money that I can give to the platform where I will not any emotional discomfort even I lose the bet.

Tank has been campaigning in 3 divisions already and became a champion at 130. Although Tank's opponents are mostly cherry-picked and exploited which is normal as he was carefully handled by Mayweather before, Kingry's level of opposition makes no difference. So overall, Tank has the edge when it comes to experience and better opponents.

I am liking of a Tank by KO/TKO. But I won't probably bet since I want these 2 cherry-pickers to fight in a blood bath after years of ignoring the top tiers of their division. And hopefully, the winner will be ready to face the real dogs of their divisions; Shakur, Haney, Loma, Lopez, Taylor, Caterall, Prograis, Matias, etc.

If only Tank was managed by other promotions, he could've won more challenging and worthy opponents that will also give him a much higher income than what he had in his recent fights. I know that Floyd just wanted to give his boxer his own name and helped him to be known but Tank is not 28 years old yet he didn't had the chance to be a regular champion. In this fight, this is his chance to give himself another lift into the limelight to fight the higher dogs which will make him more nearer to undisputed title holder.

I agree, it really depends on their experience and I would say that Davis is a more aggressive fighter who likes to close the distance and land powerful punches and Garcia is more of a counter-puncher who uses his speed. So, this upcoming fight really depends on the ability and how they can survive the rounds.

But, Overall. I will bet all-in for Davis.

And it's very interesting to hear about the rehydration clause, and upon my research it says that he can't weigh more than 146 lbs. So it's looks like Davis and his team really take everything into account and that they will have all the advantage including after the catch weight of 136 lbs.

We see there is a lot of mutual respect, however, when it comes to face-off, this two are going to throw barbs at each other. And it was fun though, as boxing fans we want to see this boxers getting into each other nerves for the hype.

In any case, here is the short version of the press conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uG-pE6IHB2E

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Im1aLhPZLg -> Face-off, wish there was no sounds in the background so that we can hear what each other is saying. Maybe later there will be videos surfacing along though.

Pre ticket sales will start tomorrow, so I will try to monitor the numbers as well so see if it will be sold out or not.

I'm expecting that to happen, so aside from the marketing these two fighters are already throwing
trash talks online so what more once they already facing each other in their presscon.

Let's see if how they will use this venue to attract more fans to support the upcoming fight and how they will bring or
add excitement with those below the belt trash talks.

This fight will not need a mega promotion tour from the promoters as this is one of the most awaited fights in this sport. Last time I've checked, this will be held in T-mobile arena in Vegas so tickets for this fight will be a bit expensive but hardcore boxing fans will still patronize this one because they knew that they will get their money's worth as both fighters are in their prime.

Trash talking and social media will definitely help a lot in promoting this fight though as Ryan Garcia is very good at it lol.

Yes, there is indeed no need to add another factor to attract more people to watch the fight because this fight has already been marinated enough throughout the time as both boxers are already talking back-and-forth online for years already, so it's safe to assume that there will be a large flock of people on the given date to watch the said fight.

I'm even confident enough to say that the press conference is not really needed to market it more but it's unavoidable as it is already a tradition in the sport especially if it's a big fight with a magnitude like this.

The promotion of this fight started a long time ago. There were already threads of Tank vs Garcia before 2022 as far as I know and there are still a few months before this fight happens they could really boost the marketing if just face off through a sports channel. They need Jake Paul to market the fight because with Paul they may be able to fill the MGM overnight.

I don't think they needed Jake Paul on this one as both Tank and Ryan also got their own supporters and have a large fan bases whether if it's online or offline. MGM Grand Garden Arena might be the place where this fight will happen but given the fact that the organizers haven't announced the venue yet, that means that they are still holding on as there's also a chance that this fight might happen in Allegiant Stadium, still in Las Vegas because the place can hold more audience than what the MGM can do.
