Well that sounds like they are going to use Porter, it is for this reason that Porter must shine, and why not win, however I think Crawford is far superior in his technique.

Most people are going in favor of Crawford, although at a time when I practiced boxing, anything can happen, although experience and skill count, I would say that preparation before a fight defines everything, even if you have the talent and everything to be superior.

Although I think the game would be in favor of Crawford given his standing as of now. But I'm not underestimating Porter's ability and skills as well. Three days ago (Oct 10) they held the official announcement of their fight with the press. The two seemed very great match for each other. Hopefully, there will be no hindrances for their upcoming fight.

So it's good that finally he will fight a non-TR fighter and hopefully we can still see him and Spence in the ring in the future. Or even a Thurman or Ugas fight might be good as well. And it's a winnable fight for Crawford that could cement him as the best welterweight of this generation.

If Crawford cannot beat Porter, then there's no reason for Crawford to call out Spence to fight him, and regarding Spence, I think we should let him relax to heal his injury, we have no idea yet on when he will be back in boxing, the operation was very sensitive, the doctor might advise him not to fight anymore.

What we see is what we get, thus far, this is the best match for Crawford for him to prove that he is not afraid of fighting anyone.

Shawn's strategy is to really bring the fight to Terrence. From the first round he is going to be the aggressor and then go with volume puncher. It might not hit Crawford straight in the jaw, but for sure makes him uncomfortable, just like what Shawn did to Spence, as he push him to the limit. And also the same with the Ugas fight, just going at Ugas and he won by a decision. So I think that will be his main strategy in this fight.

That's always been the strategy of Shawn Porter and he has had a lot of success using that strategy.

Look at the fight between him and Spence and you can see how Spence was pressured in that fight, Shawn Porter has been hitting Spence too that's why the fight ended close in the judges' scorecards and this is the only fight of Spence that ended in Split Decision, most of his wins are via TKO, KO, and UD.
