Currently, it looks that they open a new exchange and the fiat holders will get 55% fiat + 45% btce tokens. Nothing else. Then you can buy coins (if somebody is selling them, maybe at $10.000 per coin, haha) at the exchange and withdraw them.

Basically, fiat holders are fucked hard.

So here is my situation:
I only traded through BTC-e's Metatrader Terminal. -> I never really held any coins.
At the time of the outage I had around 14k USD but was actually short BTC and ETH.

I assume I will get the 55% of 14k in whatever coins they can find and the other 45% in BTC-T(oken)?

That would be a hard joke if they came back: "...well, last thing we saw, you were short @2550. Price is 4500 now so... "F OFF"..."

Any ideas? Anyone in a similar position?

Your point is correct. If they had 100 Coins in accounts and $1000 in fiat and the government seized all the fiat and all the coins on the server (not that many as a percentage) and a week ago, they could replace 55% of all the fiat and coins, the value of the coins has gone up so much (meaning you have to sell less BTC to refund 55% of the fiat), that the percentage should be higher than 55% now.

Plus, since the coins were stored in cold wallets, what about the BCH? That will help too (it is another 10%)

Yeah right .

Means, fiat holders can buy coins at the new exchange for their 55%. I guess, fiat holders are fucked. Who is going to sell their coins on the exchange? I see bitcoin at $10.000 the new btce exchange.

Yup, same happened to the BFX tokens after they launched, the price has increased 280% since the introduction, even more after the panic dip.

When this situation with BTC-e started, CoinDesk haven't published any news for days. But today when this simple update6 appeared, CoinDesk published an article within 3 hours.

I think fiat holders will get 55% in other coins (LTC, DSH, NMC and whatever else is available), and 45% in the BTC-E token.
