If only Labcoin was the only one, you can add the Ukyo/WeEx/BitFunder mess, inputs.io
These were all BLATANT scams, which only people blinded by stupid greed could fall for.

You're not alone.
Because of the damn Labcoin, I become so sensitive about my btc shares.

Anyway, happy new years!

And that was only 2013.

Brace for 2014, hope DMS is not on the list...

Happy New Year!

I'm getting worried, am I the only one here?

I'm getting worried, am I the only one here?
Nope. You're not alone.

You're not alone.

Guys this happened last time. Everyone was about to freak out and Deprived showed up safe and sound.

I literally do not think that there is a more safe fund operator than Deprived. I'll be happy to purchase some DMS for a discount if anyone is that worried.
First, I'd like to get a bunch of unpaid dividends. Then, I'd think about your proposal. Keeping investors uninformed about their investment is not very respectful and I'd expect more from "safe fund operator".

Deprived hasn't missed a payment yet and the USD/BTC rate rise means that he has more funds than ever. They guy made ~100BTC off of the Labcoin IPO for god sakes.

If he pays the back dividends then you have no reason to sell me any shares for a discount.

He's clearly said that he's waiting for Ciphertrade to launch.
Fine. I'd just like to hear it from him. Keeping shareholders informed and happy is a manager's job, not shareholders themselves. Knowledge about current investment state, but not assumptions, would help to plan financial activities for all shareholders. Thank you for your optimism however. I appreciate it.

There is nothing to report that hasn't been previously reported. DMS will be relisted when CipherTrade comes online. CipherTrade is still under development and scheduled to go live next year, probably february (you can sign up for email updates on ciphertrade.com). Investment state is unchanged, other than perhaps a little bit of BTC received from CipherBond dividends (which aren't that much since they're priced in EUR and converted to BTC according to current rates).

While a "no news, still waiting" post from Deprived every week wouldn't hurt, it would literally add nothing of value.

I wonder if he's been unwell for the last few weeks.

If that's the case, all the more reason why he should set up a dead-man switch.

Everyone enjoy the Holidays with your families. 2013 has been a stellar year, the year of Bitcoin.
Let's revisit after the 2nd of the New Year when CipherTrade is supposed to be online.

The same situation was already there some time ago. Can you leave him alone for some time? Jesus, that's terrible! (yes, I know, I have some assets on bitfunder, some btc on weexchange etc... so you don't have to tell me the same sh*t again...)

Same here, 3.2 BTC in limbo due to forced buyback on BF => forced xfer to WeEx.

I must say I had more than 100 BTC on inputs.io / CoinLenders at some point, so it could have ended up much worse.

I thought that I'd made the biggest loss of my BTC securities trader's life after buying BASIC-MINING at 0.7 (post-split) and selling off under 0.2. Then I realized that this 71% loss would have been 100% if creativex never shows up again (I'd still like to know what happened to him for what it's worth), and probably 9x% at best outcome if he comes back (after liquidating).

Should I mention LABCOIN? Naaaah....

I'm just too noob for the Pirateat40 and GLBSE shit, I guess some here still have the taste in their mouth Grin

Wonderful Bitcoin World...

tl;dr: keeping your savings on online wallets = FAIL

I wish I could go back in time and punch myself in the face.

lol yep I know exactly how you feel.     imagine if we had brought/mined bitcoin and just kept them in a secure offline wallet.

Some news tweeted by @CipherTrade (CipherTrade.com):

November 26th: Full public release date set to 2 Jan 2014

December 12th: The public beta this friday (13th) will be delayed.
I will mail out more details in the news letter but hopeing to get some screenshots out.

For those that haven't been following, Ciphermine (who own Ciphertrade) have submitted their site for penetration (pen) testing. Basically you pay someone to try to break into your site (obviously before it's live). The testing apparently turned up some things they will need to fix so that's causing a delay. I don't see that as itself as being too much of an issue; best to get it right the first time.

I am owed nearly $10K and counting in dividends, is a ping request every two weeks too much to ask? Jesus, that's terrible!

I'm due a decent chunk of dividends as well (assuming CIPHERMINE.B1 becomes liquid at a reasonable value). Actually when I read your post I went and worked out how much. Wow. Yeah, I think you and me both deserve a little bit of love! How about it, Deprived? Any chance of a "I love you guys too"?
