I'm back.

Sorry for the lack of communication recently - I only intended to be away for a few days but it ended up being a fortnight.  As I hadn't intended to be away long I didn't have my laptop etc with me (and 3G coverage was terrible for the android).

Got a bunch of things to catch up on (including DMS) - will make a longer post later tonight or tomorrow.  Here's the main points:

All funds remain intact and untouched (the BTC address holding the main funds was listed earlier in the thread and hasn't changed)

No dividends will be paid yet for a few reasons:

DMS.SELLING can't have dividends paid until Ciphermine.B1 is liquid - at present those have an effective value well below face value.
I have a few mails from people whose BTC addresses were inputs.io addresses.  If I want to pay dividends direct then those would need to be fixed first (haven't even read up on the news yet but one of my mails says TF was either hacked or pretending to be hacked and stole the funds).
Some people haven't got BTC addresses listed from BTC-TC (only a few).  As soon as I make a dividend payment to some but not all investors it makes it a nightmare to relist - as the shares are no longer fungible until all have received same dividends.

I've skimmed though my emails (which includes copies of all PMs to this board) and will now start answering the ones that need a speedy response.

I knew you would be back  Grin

Current NAV: 419.518 BTC, among them 150.796 is in the public address 1CzJY7pVkCqDjUtycHzFgeTTbbWokqYuXo and the other 268.722 is in CipherMine.B1 (and 0.81393600 maybe in a dividend address unknown to us).

As an contingency plan, shall we contact Kate to freeze the shares and hold on the dividend for now (or create a public address and send dividend there) and ask Burnside to keep a copy of share list (or make it public?).

EDIT: have sent PMs to Kate and Burnside. Will update once they reply.

I completely trust Deprived. This plan is just in case something really terrible happened on Deprived and the 150 BTC may stay there forever. Let's all wish that will not happen.

Yes, I trust Deprived as well.

Good idea about CIPHERMINE.B1. Seeing as the funds in the public wallet are out of reach while Deprived is incommunicado, there's really no prospect of DMS paying dividends for MINING or SELLING for now.

When CIPHERMINE.B1 relists, if Deprived is still incommunicado, we'll have to work out what to do next. The bonds can be cashed in at face value with 3 months notice (forgoing dividends), or sold on the market when there is one, but without Deprived available it's a little murky how to legally proceed, treating all shareholders fairly.

We're pretty much in Kate's hands at the moment; hopefully when she has the time (she's just gone to Berlin, I think) she can locate Deprived. Or even better, he reappears!

I asked woodrake - Deprived is not replying to her.

Maybe we should seek somebody who knows Deprived's identity (burnside?) to try to contact Deprived. I hope he is ok.

I've already asked burnside; he doesn't know him. He suggested asking woodrake, but she obviously hasn't heard anything from him.
How about badbear? Deprived is in his trust list, so he may know Deprived in person.
EDIT: have PMed him and will update once he replies.
EDIT: Badbear replied that he does not know Deprived and can do nothing to help.

Havelock just announced they were bought by a 'licensed' Panamanian company.  Hmmm, who do we know that was just doing Bitcoin business in Panama?  I wonder. Roll Eyes

Wow, can't believe that creativex pulled a runner. Highly doubting that Deprived has done the same - he's smart enough to make more money by investing and fund managing than a semi-long con. Hopefully he's just temporarily out of contact.

Agreed. There isn't that much left in the fund compared to a month or two ago and Deprived has a large share of it himself. It would've been far more logical to run off a while ago.

Nevertheless, it's a bit worrying that we've not heard anything from him in some time. His account was last logged in on 30 october, but he was last online on the Litecoin forum on 6 november, which is just a week ago.

Hope he didn't disappear like creativex did - and leave hundreds of thousands of dollars missing.

Look at this thread to see how creativex disappeared: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=130982.1920

DMS wallet address is public: 1CzJY7pVkCqDjUtycHzFgeTTbbWokqYuXo

You can see the 128 BTC listed in the last balance sheet is still there, and 22BTC (I think it is the CIPERMINE.B1 dividend) was deposited to that address on 1 Nov.

Therefore, I believe Deprived will not disappear with the fund. What really worries me is that maybe something terrible happened on Deprived so that he cannot access the Internet now. Really wish nothing serious and finger crossed.

BTW, after this wish him to be in drunk mode less often and that will be both good for him and for us investors Smiley

Yeah, the man has operated his assets with skill and care until now. LTC-ATF owners got paid out the quoted NAV/U when that fund closed. Doing a runner seems unlikely.

I believe that woodrake knows Deprived personally; unfortunately she is still on her honeymoon (due back at the end of the week, I think). When she returns we can ask her what's up with Deprived, if he doesn't surface before then.

Deprived hasn't posted in a while, what is the status update?

A couple of people (me included) have tried sending PMs to him both here and on the litecoin forum. He hasn't logged in here since the 30th, and on the litecoin forum since the 6th.

There could be absolutely nothing to report while he is looking for a new exchange, but a status update would be nice.

Update would be VERY nice indeed. Looking for a new exchange and keeping investors updated and rewarded are different things. Don't you guys worry about your invested coins that are not working for you since Nov 3rd? It's unusual for Deprived to be so silent. I'm starting to worry about him actually...

Especially with everything being up in the air, like it is.

His last post on the 27th (where he mentioned paying a weeks' worth of DMS.MINING dividends in advance) suggested he intended to be away for a bit, but we are well beyond that now.

There could be absolutely nothing to report while he is looking for a new exchange, but a status update would be nice.
