Don't forget that we provide our users with two private keys so that they are in control of their bitcoins.

Try this wallet, in terms of security is pretty good because there are features 2FA and most importantly is this wallet very fast when loading, so that makes me like it even if I open it with the browser on my smartphone.

I think this is one of the best web wallet. And now I have an account, just for better, for development and more secure, please add for SMS verification, so when we send bitcoin is more secure.

It has nothing to do with the wallet Itself as far as I know because all wallets calculate the fees the same way and those are network fees and unlike Multibit HD , BTC.com takes no fees for themselves and I have never experienced any slowness on confirmation times.

I've been using the wallet btc.com already acquired BITMAIN, a power of this wallet is the speed, while the weakness is an expensive sending than any other web wallet.

For best security I suggest to use 2FA. I know btc.com about 1 month ago and I am interested to continues to use this wallet, I agree this is one of nice wallet. Seen from the features unlike most online wallet, just a suggestion, should also provide a different service that is able to withdraw the money directly to the bank account.
As far as security goes it is good that they have tow factor authentication and that is what makes people use online wallets to store their bitcoin, but like said above try to make an option for withdrawing money, like making a debit card that can be used like any other credit card, I know Xapo provides such a facilty.

Hi everyone. New here...
I just wanted to know how can I get my bitcoin from btcclicks. I requested a withdrawal 2 days ago, then it said it will be processed within 9 hours. I provided my btc address from localbitcoins.com, still it's not showing up.
I checked my Withdrawals history and this is what appeared

  TRANSACTION ID 66ba69af0a30b31fe5beff67142d6fb0d703ee51caffb66a1238fdfc276e8be2

  Then the amount and date.

When I clicked on the Transaction ID, it redirected me to this link

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/66ba69af0a30b31fe5beff67142d6fb0d703ee51caffb66a1238fdfc276e8be2

I really don't understand this whole thing. I don't know what is blocktrail all about. I hope somebody can help me here. How can I get my paid bitcoins to my btc address in localbitcoins?

Many thanks. :-)

In this case ? BlockTrail is a blockexplorer just like blockchain.info , the transaction ID posted clearly shows that your transaction got confirmed and you should have your bitcoins now (If your address is one of the 201 addresses on that transaction) .

I'm with SMS/Phone notifications when It comes to receiving funds as I suggested once but I really don't see the purpose behind making an sms verification If there is already Google Authenticator , If you really compare you will see that third party services used sometimes fail to send SMS while with 2FA of google there no failure , without mentioning the fact that SMS will cost them money.

I'm having an issue with the wallet , I use the android wallet and in some transaction that I received where I'm supposed to see the address of the sender , I see FALSE instead . I also can't see the addresses on the web version , when I click to see the transaction details, It simply vanished.

Hey Madgamer,

Thanks for letting us know about the FALSE bug, it already had been mentioned and are ironing it out now.

As for the receive addresses we've changed it because bitcoin addresses are used to receive payments, but not to send them: there is no concept of a "from" address in Bitcoin. Users have pointed it out to us, so we've changed it accordingly. You still can see your 'from' address if you click on the blockexplorer link.

Here is more information: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/From_address

I checked the google play and I saw an update , on the changelog It says :
Code:
- new wallet encryption schema.
- auto-upgrade to new wallet encryption schema.
Is it something to be worried about ? I mean If you upgraded your encryption algorithms , does it mean that the old ones were weaker and we should change our passwords ?
It also would be very nice If you could make the wallet checks for update when launching it because checking the google play often isn't something the average user would do.

The upgrade is ofcourse improving the strength of the encryption, otherwise there wouldn't be much reason to upgrade it.

However the strengthening is done on the encrypted primary key, to make sure it remains impossible to break the encrypted primary key, now and in the future (the scheme is now also future-proof, we can easily strengthen it more in 1~2 years).
So there's no reason for you to change your password, it's not your password that is ever at risk.

I'll add it to our feature requests to have a way to prompt users that there's an update, good idea!

Nothing will ever be unavailable, you'll just see a new logo. That is it.

You never ever have to worry about that.

I usually use Wifi while using your Android wallet but I will be using 4G instead in the next days which means I have a limited data use , Lets say 3GB per month. I wanna know whats the data usage of your application and how much MB/GB it would cost me monthly If I run it twice or thrice a day for mostly checking the balance only.

Hey Madgamer,

You are going to have to check that yourself, to be honest with you, I've never checked it. Smiley You can check your data usage on Android devices in the settings section.
