Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?
There is a minimal risk investing on ico but luckily all of my coins when they hit on exchanges it's above ico price picking an ico with more hype is a good choice than tradng altcoin.

For me buying in an ICO is riskier compare to trading, but if you really want to get a high profit joining in an ico is the best. All you need is to do your own research in order for you to know what really is the project and at the same time you need to convince yourself about their project and always invest on what you can afford to lose.

i think if you have a good ICO, you can trade altcoins ( if you are good at trading skills) and you can aslo buy from ICO, and hold until the time when you meet your profit target.

Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?

Buying in an ICO and doing a trading are both risky. If the ICO is not a successful  one definitely will put you in a very crucial situation. In trading if you have no expertise and when you buy at the highest price will put you also in a very bad situation if the price goes down.
No. If you have patience and you know that the project will progress then you will be able to find time to hold, buying ico coins really have a big risk behind as we knew that the coin/project will possibly disappear unlike coins which is already in the market, but both options needs to have a long patience, waiting period is always there from the beginning when you decide to invest with this industry.

Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?

I would say both are very risky and hard to perform, and both have the potencial to give quite decent profits if done right. I would say that buying into an ICO will give you much more profit if done right. Just look at the profits the top ICOs gave to their investors, day trade can't compete with that. Of course that in day trade you can't really get scammed so it ends up being safer, and you only have yourself to blame at least, and that's a good thing.
Risk is involved in all sort of investments that are made online rather in something digital. Internet is full of scam and it is not impossible to become victim of such a fraud or trick.

Therefore, I think it is best to not try out new things with huge investments and try to stick with the older ones that can be trusted blindly. I am pointing towards bitcoin and alternative coins like Ethereum, ripple, Litecoin, Monero, ETC.

Nothing is so bad in both icos and trading .

everything depend on project and team ,, get proper info of this with their admins and check how much time they will take to launch the project after ico ..

also compare the ico prices with their maximum supply .
If you really want to get more profit then you can completely invest when the coin is selling ICO, when on the trading site the coin is often increased prices. But if you want to be sure to avoid scam ICO projects then you can wait for the coin to be listed on the floor before you start trading. The choice is based on how your coin is evaluated and viewed. I usually invest in ICOs because it brings more profits.

The risk is present both there and there. With participation in ICO you can get on the scam project. But when trading, you can very easily make money and lose your money. In my opinion, it is much more difficult to trade than to participate in the ICO.

Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?
In my opinion ICOs is more risky then trading at exchange because ICOs are those things which sell thier coins before the launching , so probably may be there can be chances that after the buy of the ICOs coin they launch after a long time of 3-4 month or even more time.
Here i myself bought solar coin about 3 months ago and you can see what happened wity that coin and taked much longer time to get launch .
And also here i can give you example of yes coin that get launched after a more long time , so we can guess accurately that ICOs coin how mich time needed to get launch but still if anyone want to buy and again sell then he can by selling to anyone who want buy .
So trading at exchange directly is more simple than with ICOs coin buy sell .
Yes because as times goes by it will become more expensive about 5 to 10 times or more because I really amaze how they will become millionaire because of that way. Buying ICO is better than trading if the ICO itself is like running for long months just like 3-6 months of waiting while trading is also better if the ICO is run for short term about 3 weeks to 1 month because it has more possibilities that the price of coins will go more deep than the ICO price, so it depends upon the campaigns.

both have different risks but if you want to buy from ICO the most important is to have the right analysis for the ICO so also if you want to trade we have to analyze the coin whether many of its enthusiasts but if there is no interest then better leave it

Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?
IMO, ICOs are much riskier, since you have to trust developers that already have the money, and nothing to lose.

In trading, it's you and the market. You just need to learn and constantly update yourself to increase your chances.

What about those that claims to have ico claiming to have a product already eg LiveEdu.

Its depend on how you understood about coin or ICO 's future. Any coin or ICO will pass difficulty time (dump) in its life cycle. However you can mitigate the risk by doing own research. For example trading in wabi, or power ledger has good future in trading. According to my research Daneel.IO has good potential to success in nearly future.

Which ones are more at risk of buying tokens from ICO or in trading?
Personally and in my experience all this time. the more dangerous it is to invest or buy tokens from ico more dangerous than to do trading because the project is running it is not certain will make the price token expensive at the time in exchange. but that's not all projects will be as I say. because there are also projects that actually get unexpected success. so it's also back to you again. this is just my experience and my personal opinion.

Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?
I think both are equally at risk, but it all depends on your thoroughness in choosing to invest. Both in trading and in buying ICO Token. If you want to buy ICO tokens, you should first find the background of the ICO developer. Do not get too focused with big profits.

Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?
It depends on the person, both ICO and trading are risky if you will just buy this token to trade without reading updates or investing in ICO without background check of the team and not reading the goals of the company

Which is more risky buying a token from the ICO or in trading?

Both of these methods consists of some risks. While the risk associated with ICO is dependent on your activity, the risk associated with trading depends entirely on you. We don't have any regulatory authority for the ICOs, so we are pretty much investing in something which may or may not come up with the final product or simply run away with your investment. But in trading, you are the owner of your own decisions and mistakes. This is the difference of risks between ICOs and trading. But if you ask me personally, I prefer trading, because it can fetch you much higher return than any other form of investment in crypto currency market.
