Major altcoins losing value? I don't really understand, if major altcoins are losing value what of others which are a bit good? Nevertheless, I don't believe such, during bear market every coin was affected and when the market changes it was only few that were showing signs of recovery and most of them were major altcoins. In the same way, apart from Bitcoin which is far better for long term investment major altcoins are also good for long term investment; I can only mention three, ETH, XLM and BNB. Major altcoins are highly recommended for long term investment and not some types of altcoin which might carry out a swap and you will end up losing if you aren't aware.

For me it is worthy to wait for that long upon investing into major Altcoins because they have a greater capacity and capability of improving their prices compared to the regular Altcoins. Major Altcoins do have more potential so even holding for a long period of time will be worthy because investment is not intended to be rushed because it really takes time for an investment to gain its profit. Right through this year, Altcoin market have shown us positivity in a sense that the prices of Altcoins undergo certain increase and improvement after a long run of downfall. But still the decision relies on you if you are that patient to wait for a long investment or not. Also, always check on the price behavior to help you decide if you will still wait or sell depending on the situation you are currently into making sucj decision.

YES And yes. there are still quality projects in the market. all you need is to make your research and trust your instinct. make sure you invest what you can afford to loose. investment is all about a gamble. just like life itself. don't cast all your eggs in one basket. it might dissappear in a twinckle of an eye. i think btc, eth, XRP and BCH are all long term and can be trusted.

You need a lot of idea about crypto so do own research and ask some veterans in crypto about investing, don't just invest that you did not know the market. And I think you no major altcoins are losing their value now check before you said that. You can learn a lot if you start to research and adopt what will you learn.

holding altcoins for long term will make you earn profit, this is best to do if you are busy of something else like you have an offline job. most of the investors who just planed to hold for long term are the ones who don't trade, probably just for retirement plans too. altcoins however isn't the best option, most of us will just recommend BTC even if its just a fraction of it.

Major Altcoin has fallen in price for some time because investors prefer Bitcoin. I think this is reasonable because in the middle of a sluggish market, investors will be looking for safety. But in my opinion, in the long run, major altcoin will recover because the market is very dynamic and will not continue to fall

well i think in long term investment, altcoins are not really good because of the volatile price of altcoins, i always refer altcoin for short term investment and for trading because the price of altcoins changes in days or weeks, for long term investment bitcoin is really very good so just do trading in altcoins it will give you profit.

Better play safe and keep most of your holdings in bitcoin and diversify the rest in proven coins.

The major Altcoin indeed lost its value but I still hold ETH, LTC and BNB for long-term investment, I'm optimistic that the three coins will increase dramatically after Halving later. If you have a lot of money then I think now is the right time to buy all three coins.

Major altcoins are almost their lower level, and this is time to invest in altcoins because everyone can't invest in BTC due to higher price and profit margin is small. Still, if you invest in altcoins, then the margin is more 2x or 3x profit so in my opinion should invest in altcoins and wait till May 2020.

I really do not think it can provide tangible benefits. You are right, investing in a new project has a great risk. So in that case, I suggest not doing that. It is better to focus on one that has been proven altcoin or popular altcoin to be able to invest long term.

When you are saying major altcoins, are you pertaining to the altcoins that are being on top ranking on the CMC? Because for me, it is not just major altcoins that could lose value or market price in a long term, it falls simply on the demand of the people to such altcoins we have. Please do not use any exchange apart from Top exchanges no matter what offers they are trying to give, now that scammers aren't making money through scam ICO exchanges anymore the only option left is building fake exchanges, go for top altcoins and you will be fine
