@c-cex: When will you fix the GRC wallet? It have been more than 24 hours since the patch was released. Why is the wallet still in maintenance?

We have response from GRC team. They are aware about syncing problem and promise to update github soon. We are waiting...

I deposited some thousand RBIES on my C-CEX depo address and even if transaction showed up correctly in blockexplorer those coins never reached my balance.

I wrote a support ticket, fullfilling all the required information, more than 36 hours ago but I'm still waiting for an answer from support.  Undecided

Is it "normal" for their service standard or is there something weird going on?  Anyone from support/staff follow this thread?

Be aware I checked wallet status before depositing and it was ok but entered in mantainance mode only after I opened my support ticket telling you my depo wasn't showing up.


Update: my RBIES deposit is finally showing up.

I replied to that ticket and of course am not satisfied with the answer because today is the sixth day passed without any concrete solution. Six days of wallet mantainance therefore six day passed since I deposited but deposit still not showing up.

If you were me would you be satisfied?

Thanks, that's at least a reason and I understand the problem now. But you should comment such things on your website! Just writing "Maintenance" for several days is not going to help anybody.

There were a lot of problems with the last mandatory Gridcoin update and many people (including me) could not sync to the top of the blockchain anymore. There were/are discussions on GitHub about this severe issue, see https://github.com/gridcoin/Gridcoin-Research/issues/254 and https://github.com/gridcoin/Gridcoin-Research/issues/256

The main "solution" as discussed in issue 254 was to download an unofficial snapshot, that included all valid blocks and not the ones from the fork(s) on the network. But I don't know if this is applicable for you as an exchange.

EDIT: I'm referring to the snapshots on https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B16UEVFqxiRyV1pVSERyd2hxWlk , which were posted in issue 254. Just had to delete the 'database' folder from it (if it's still there) and it worked for most people in that discussion.

The C-CEX exchange sent an email to its users notifying the removal of more than 40 altcoins currently listed on the platform. The company claims it needs to free up server resources to add new crypto-coins, and those selected for deletion have a very low trading volume. very understandable....

OMG!!! Now I'm worried!!! I just made a deposit today. Block explorer now shows 29 confirmations for my deposit to my ccex btc wallet. But the amount is not yet reflected in my balance because their btc wallet is out of sync. Reading these reviews is making me worry every single minute. Will update when I get a response from ccex support.
