I agree with the fact that it would definitely take more than a decade for some cryptocurrency to surpass the value and utility that bitcoin has, and we aren't even sure it could surpassed for sure either, maybe an altcoin that stands at the same level of bitcoin is a better goal.

I have no doubt that a coin will replace Bitcoin. Remember moneys of old world empires (ducat, denarius, mark etc.) But it will take too much time.

No other coin can replace Bitcoin as it would be the first. Perhaps some coins will be able to get as close to Bitcoin or even bypass it, but Bitcoin will still be one and unique.

Yes, but at present no coin can replace bitcoin. Then such coin that will replace bitcoin will have to involve in serious hype. Series of Investors will have to venture in.

I think so, but it's still a long way off, especially since bitcoin is still the first thing that comes to the people mind when we talk about cryptos, until the altcoins don't become as popular as bitcoin did, I don't think it can be replaced yet, although there are many alts that do the work that bitcoin does and better, with lower fees and faster transactions, it won't mean anything until they earn a similar volume.

don't think there will be another encryption to completely replace bitcoin. The original status of Bitcoin is unwavering, and the other encryption is a follower of technology and applications. It may be better, but it cannot be replaced.
You are right no one can replace bitcoin right now, for sure that it will gonna rise more in the coming years and no one just like it that will gonna jump over it, eth will still the 2nd top cryptocurrecy and the rest will race for the 3rd spot.

That has never happened before, but there are hundreds of altcoins on the market, then what reason will make of that hundred altcoins impossible to replace bitcoin? I think that can and might happen.

At this time there is no coin that can really replace Bitcoin. But there are a lot of them who can do this in the future. Bitcoin has a very common name, everyone knows about it. Even if these people are not involved in crypto world, they know about Bitcoin. But some day this could change and there will be something else also with common name

I agree because bitcoin is the mother of all and the base fee used in exchanges is bitcoin there are some strongly relative coin in the market that can be the second option for. Ethereum is one and usually the USDT for the real fiat currency. There are some coins that is greater price than Bitcoin but not used because of not well known coin or the community that is not so big.

I recently thought that Ethereum would be able to skip Bitcoin, but now when I see Ethereum suffer, it's less and less possible to happen. Bitcoin is the king and will be even stronger in the next months.

It is hard to answer that question, there are altcoins that is way more better than bitcoin not in the terms of price but in terms of much better benefits that altcoin has, like ethereum which has its own blockchain and supports many tokens.
I agree. There are interesting altcoins with different (better) technologies. But I don't see any of them replacing Bitcoin. I don't even know why replace anything. All good coins should exist.

I can say that your words may happen because the possibility is everywhere. We can see the fluctuation of the bitcoin and altcoins right now are seen clearly.  I think no one can replace bitcoin because it is the most popular and well known coins among them all and it is the most powerful and profitable and can make simple transactions for the users. No one crypto replace the bitcoin because the bitcoin the father of all crypto nowadays get the place of bitcoin.
I understand what you say, that Bitcoin is now a pioneer and has great power and influence in the world of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has a huge effect and what happens to Bitcoin will have an impact on other coins. I'm sure Bitcoin can survive to be the best, it's because Bitcoin has power and now Bitcoin already has a large number of users. So there is no reason that Bitcoin can be defeated by other coins.

Perhaps, well, there is no need to be Vanga, as they say, it will be seen, just bitcoin people know, and any project, any thing acquires value when people begin to believe in it, only people give value to a certain thing,so potentially of course can
